Mike stood on the podium with his teammates at the Sochi Paralympics as part of an epic US sweep of the inaugural Snowboardcross. It was a dream realized, but Mike had had to fight addiction to pain killers and alcohol to get there. His fights to get clean and reach the top of his sport inspire his continued fight to be a great husband, dad, coach, woodworking artist and mentor for so many.
