Jesus promises the Holy Spirit.  Don't let people make you believe it takes some special manifestation for the Spirit to be with you.  The promise of the Holy Spirit is real.

Many believe that following Jesus means freedom to live as we wish, but following another is commitment to do their will and follow their way in our lives.

The disciples wonder how to get where Jesus is going, and he gives them a clear answer to follow.

Jesus begins to give hope, as he knows the followers will face tough times.  This hope is the same hope we have to hold to in our lives today. 

We must ask ourselves on a day of remembering Christ's suffering and horrific death on the cross, why would anyone what to call it Good?

We need to see that Jesus knows and confronts his betrayer openly. However, we must ask ourselves how often our betrayer is really ourselves, as we hurt our witness for Jesus in our world today.
