What is something that you can’t stop telling people about? What is something that you are super passionate about and you find any way to tell people about this thing that excites you. We are called to make Disciples of all nations, and a big part of that process is sharing the Gospel (the Good News about Jesus) with others. When last did you share the Gospel with someone?

Jesus shows us that no person is a “hopeless case”, and it’s never too late for a person to choose to follow Him. This is an encouragement for us in two ways: To believe and to share.

Through the book of Jonah we learn that even those who are chosen by God to preach or lead can be blinded by their own idols to see the mercy of God. They serve as an example that everyone needs Jesus.

What is one thing that you couldn’t live without?  What is one thing, that if you lost it you would lose all hope? All the things we put our faith and trust in will fail us, they will leave us empty and unfulfilled, apart from Jesus.

How comfortable are you to step outside of your cultural, social or racial spaces to reach people unlike you with the Good News about Jesus? Jesus Himself does this, and shows us the need for us to share the Gospel with people "unlike us".

Have you ever felt “not good enough” for Jesus? Have you ever felt that you aren’t good enough for church or that Jesus doesn’t want anything to do with you? Or perhaps you’re on the other side of things and you have maybe looked at someone who struggles with a certain type of sin, or perhaps just someone who sins differently to you and thought “those people could never know Jesus”? Today we are going to see, that “those people” need Jesus too.
