Is there a secret to living life well? Are there certain pitfalls I ought to avoid so that I may enjoy every season in life and trust God whether the season is good or bad? The “preacher” in Ecclesiastes, even with his pessimism, tells us that it is possible but only when we realise that our hearts always search for purpose or satisfaction in the wrong places and when we surrender control of life’s events to the One who knows all things.

Have you ever looked at that one friend or family member and just thought "Man, I would tell them about Jesus, but there really is no hope for them." How many times have we decided who is good enough for the Gospel? Who is good enough for Jesus? This isn't a new thing. The Jewish Christians had decided that their God wasn't meant for the Gentiles, as they were dirty, but God had other plans.

An issue that many have today is that it appears that the miraculous works of God have stopped. It can also seem in some ways that God only works miraculously for those who are utterly involved in His work, and in love with Jesus. However, we see here how God's miracles are for all, but more than that, His Grace is for all.
