Greetings and welcome to a new Sunday School teaching series of Christ Community Church! This week Connor Johnson, deacon and minister of music at CCC, begins a new study on finding Christ in the Peripheral Canon, also known as the Apocrypha or Deuterocanon. 

Join us as we begin this important study, with a Spirit of Reverent Discernment, of those books that are not included in the Protestant Bible, but are considered to be inspired Scripture by other Christian traditions.

Hallelujah! Christ is Risen indeed! We continue our celebration of the bodily resurrection of the Lord Jesus by moving into John the Beloved's apocalypse, better known as the Book of Revelation. Join us as Pastor Nick makes note of how the entire book can be framed as a doxology, a hymn of praise to the Triune God.

Text: 1 Corinthians 15:19-26

Tenebrae is a word that simply means "darkness." In this service of darkness candles are progressively extinguished, representing the death of Christ, and the attendees are left in complete darkness. Sit with us this night as we meditate on the Seven final "words" of our Lord as he was on the cross. There are periods of silence between each homily to allow a moment of meditation upon each word. Afterwards, listeners will hear a bell ringing, signifying the moment of Christ's death as well as the ripping of the vestments from the alter, signifying the tearing of the veil in the Temple before Christ yielded up his spirit.

Join us as Pastor Craig completes our study through A.W. Pink's Life of Elijah. In this last study, we will look at Elijah's final moment's, Elisha's request to receive a double portion of Elijah's spirit, and Elijah being taken to heaven.

Welcome to Holy Week! Join us this week as we follow Jesus from his "Triumphal" Entry into Jerusalem to his substitutionary death and victorious resurrection! This year, we consider Luke's account of Jesus's entry into Jerusalem prior to his death and resurrection, and we find different and interesting details in his account. Listen with us as Pastor Nick points out these important distinctions.

In our penultimate lesson from A.W. Pink's Life of Elijah, Pastor Craig takes us into 2 Kings 1 where we see Elijah's confrontation with three groups of fifty soldiers sent by King Ahaziah. Join us as we draw nearer to the close of this edifying study.
