This week, we continue making our way through Jesus's "Sermon on the Plain" and consider his very bold and very practical command to "love our enemies."

Pink's Life of Elijah, we move on to see how the Lord responds to Elijah's prayer, the response of the people to the Lord's power, and the execution of the prophets of Ba'al. This week in our walk through A.W. Pink's Life of Elijah, Pastor Craig has us pause on Elijah's prayer on Mt. Carmel in 1 Kings 18:36-37. Listen and learn with us as we discuss prayer, legalism, and even the use of "experiment" vs. "experience" when it comes to our lives of faith.

"...For my eyes have seen your salvation that you have prepared in the presence of all peoples..." As we continue to make our way through A.W. Pink's Life of Elijah, this week we continue to look at Elijah's encounter with the prophets of Ba'al on Mount Carmel and God's glorious manifestation of his power over Ba'al. Join us as Pastor Craig leads us in this great study!

How does Jesus's rejection by his hometown fit within the season of Epiphany? What does he mean when he says that Isaiah 61 has been fulfilled in him? What about when he says that "no prophet is acceptable in his hometown"? In week 3 of our study through A.W. Pink's Life of Elijah, we find Elijah confronting Ahab and the prophets of Ba'al on Mount Carmel (see also 1 Kings 18:1-40). Listen as Pastor Craig walks us through this profound event of Elijah's ministry as well as God's awesome manifestation of his power.

Pastor Chris opens the Scriptures for us this week as we continue to make our way through the season of Epiphany, the season where we celebrate the Lord Jesus being manifested as God in the Flesh. Looking at Jesus's sermon in the synagogue in Nazareth, Pastor Chris helps us to reflect on the simplicity of simply "going home" as well as how Christ the Lord is the fulfillment of the year of Jubilee.
