Today we come to the last and worst of the seven churches addressed by Jesus. However, from the outside loooking in, you wouldn’t know it. They seemingly had everything, yet Jesus found them empty. This is a church that challenges our view of what we place worth and identity in.

What makes a church “faithful” in the eyes of Jesus? Is it size, power, footprint, $, conversions, baptisms, number of people participating? How might our measurables be at odds to God’s? Jesus answers this question today as we look at the church in Philadelphia. Have a look & listen to God’s word today!

When you think about your relationship with Christ, do you think about “the good old days” of the past or what Christ is actively doing in your life today? In Jesus' letter to the church in Thyatira, we see the urgency and challenge of dealing with false teaching and what can happen if falsehood festers for too long.
