Jesus said if I be lifted up I will gather all men to myself. The Cross gathers the lost to God and draws men to salvation. The Church is to be a people who gather the lost to God not a fish tank for the saved.

The ultimate goal of the great commission is to bring the nations to Christ before the end of the age. The rapture escape theory has left the church abandoning her call. God has a glorious church that will triumphantly immerse the nations in the presence of God.

At this stage in our growth we should find ourselves abandoned to the sovriegnty and majesty of Christ, walking in obedience and dependence to God's Spirit.

The great commission is a strategy to bring the nations to Christ. The first step is to change the language and names that bring in the new cultrue, this can be seen in the strategy of our enemy. God would have us speak to our culture with the language and words of the Kingdom of God and not conform to the kingdoms of man.

In every believer will eventually face a crisis of faith. It is a time when our belief system is challenged and we must find our way through without our faith collapsing under the weight of our dissolusion. Find out how to cope with a faith crisis.

A deeper look into the great commission tells us that we are to immerse our communities in the person of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. It is more than going and telling, it is even more than discipling, it is in fact manifesting the Kingdom of God in the earth.

The third stage of Christian growth is bearing fruit. We are to begin producing the fruit of Christ in our lives as we become His workmanship created in Christ Jesus to do good works.
