Sometimes peace can only come through anguish, such is the story of Hannah. Through her pain her son Samuel is born, and brings Israel back to a time of peace.

Learning our role as prophets to our society we must learn how to preach an oracle of doom. Amos gives us four guidelines in presenting his oracle. 1) He challenges the peoples spiritual condition. 2) He testifies of God's discipline. 3) He reveals the Father's heart for them. 4) He lets them know they better get ready to meet their God. Listen to learn your role as a prophet.

If we walk in agreement with God we will walk in righteousness. Israel was decieved by their prosperity to believe they were blessed by God while they treated the poor among them unjustly. Amos reasoned with them to hear that judgement was coming unless they turned from their wicked ways. This message is timely for the American church to turn back to God in righteousness.

God is calling for a people who have an Amos anointing. A people called out from among the sheepfold and the fields to speak a prophetic word to the nations., Common people with an uncommon spirit, who have heard the roar of the lion and must speak His message of justice for this hour.

If you believe in God than you must believe in an ever increasing hope and purpose in your life. God is going to do great things with His people and He is developing an eager expectation in His Church in these last days.

Hebrews 4:13 syas, "Everything is uncovered and laid bare before the eyes of him to whom we must give account." As John the revelator sees Jesus he describes Him with eyes of fire. Jesus looks into our lives to burn away the dross and perfect our calling, purifying our hearts to be the sons of God for for this day and hour.

It is essential in all endeavours to maintain an understanding of "the big picture." It is easy to get sidetracked or misunderstand why we are doing what we are doing unless we understand the big picture. Good leadership always keeps that vision before the people. So here is our "Big Picture."

God is using our building program to teach us His divine purpose for the Church in this hour. The Lord's desire is for His people to secure, strengthen and renew our purpose in our society. We can no longer be a sub culture when He ordained us to be a counter culture to this nation.

God is calling His people into a level of awareness that will bring the maturity of the church into its full stature. For too long we have been self absorbed, insulated and isolated. Paul teaches in Romans 12:3-20 how to be self aware, God aware and people aware as we learn to live llike Christ among others.
