When Wisdom Gets Booed The central truth of this message is that wisdom is not merely recognized by what a person knows, but by how they respond to God's truth. Like a crowd booing an official's call, they resist God's authority because they prefer their own way. This rejection is not an intellectual problem but a spiritual one. The issue is not a lack of information but a lack of surrender. Proverbs also teaches that believers must be careful not to become controlled by foolish people. We are called to speak truth with love, but we must remember that we cannot change a fool's heart—only God can. Arguments, pressure, or human effort cannot remove the darkness within.
