The word of God, the Gospel, which was given to us as a gift and implanted in our souls must be carefully studied and diligently acted upon to live a true religious life.

When we are in over our head, we should be silent and wait before God. We should wait on God to help us.

Following Jesus means living as a citizen of heaven, and to do this we follow tried and true spiritual values and practices, to keep us rooted and grounded in Christ.

Disciples of Jesus need a good community to follow Jesus and make new followers of Jesus. The soil they need is God’s presence in the church through the Holy Spirit, which produces four rhythms: learning to obey God’s word, worshipping God together, living life together, and living dependent upon God.

A disciple is part of a community of multiplication that invites others to follow Jesus so they can love God, their neighbor, and multiply themselves as they make disciples.

Because of Jesus’ universal authority and continued presence, we can have confidence and assurance in our bearing the fruit of making disciples

Because of Jesus’ completed work, universal authority and continued presence, we are to bear fruit of loving God, loving others, and making disciples.

We are enabled to live lives of worship as we embrace the unique gifts and calling that God has put on our hearts as we have been called to be disciples of Jesus Christ, following him.
