Jesus wants us to bring our kids to Him. He loves them more than we do, and He has plans for them that go beyond anything that we can think or imagine. We can bring our kids to Jesus with confidence, knowing He wants to bless them with His presence.

The miracle story of Jesus feeding thousands with 5 pieces of bread and 2 fish teaches us that when we are faced with problems or possibilities we can bring our resources to Jesus. He can take whatever we have, and multiply it to accomplish his plans.

Lent Service 2026

Luke 5 teaches us that when our friends have problems, the best thing we can do is take them to Jesus.

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. In the church, Lent is the 40 days before Easter (not including Sundays). It is a time of repentance, reflection, and preparation for the celebration of Resurrection Sunday. The ashes remind us that sin always leaves a mark, sin always causes death, but Jesus has come to reverse the curse of sin and death. Tonight, we pause to remember our need for a Savior, and to celebrate God’s gracious gift to us.

We’re kicking off a new series today encouraging us to take everything in our lives to Jesus. We began by exploring how Jesus deserves and desires to be our first, best, and only option in every season and situation.

God’s kingdom is a going kingdom. Every disciple is called to go and share the new life they have discovered with others. This calling often involves hard work, movement, and perseverance. But it also always includes the presence of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit.

God’s Kingdom is one of continual growth. The Gospel grows deeply in our hearts and minds and then grows wide through our influence in the places God has planted us.

God’s kingdom is a gathering kingdom. We are gathered to him and to each other. In God’s gathering kingdom, we continue to gather for worship, prayer teaching, encouragement, and service. When we do this, we experience the presence of Jesus in a unique and powerful way.
