In John 14 Jesus reveals the Holy Spirit as God’s provision of help to us in every season and situation.

John 12:1-8 teaches us that Jesus is always worthy of our best. When we bring him our best, it changes the environment around us and points other people towards his activity in the world.

The story of Thomas in John 20 teaches us that we can bring all of out doubts to Jesus. He meets us in in doubt, deals with our doubt, and leads us into new experiences of life and faith where our doubts no longer define us.

The story of Lazarus in John 11 teaches us that we can bring every frustration to Jesus.

When Jesus calls us to follow him it doesn’t matter if we feel overqualified or under-qualified. What matters is our obedience. When God speaks to us, He has already accounted for our past, present, and future.

On Easter Sunday we celebrated Jesus’ victory over fear. In every storm we face, He is present, powerful and able to give us real peace.

Judas isn’t the only one who has betrayed Jesus. Good Friday reminds us that God’s response to our betrayal is to extend forgiveness through the finished work of Jesus on the cross.
