What are the topics on the hearts and minds of Christians today? Here are some of the important issues we tackle today:

We’re joined by Pastor Carl Gallups today as we try to look at today’s news from a biblical perspective, and try to see how all that is happening around us fits into God’s plan for the world. His latest book is Gods of Ground Zero.
Pastor Carl Gallups joins Mike and David to discuss an article from the Christian Post speculating on what healthy American Churches will look like ten years from now. We start our discussion on this topic assuming we will not yet face open persecution for our Christian beliefs ten years from now. What kind of changes will we see in strong Christian churches in America?
We also discuss how the country has changed over the past 40 years. In 1980, after the U.S. Men’s Olympic Hockey team upset the powerful Russians, goalie Jim Craig draped himself in the American flag and cried as he sang our national anthem. This month the Megan Rapinoe-led team cursed President Trump, disrespected the flag, and made sure a Christian player was kicked off the team because she did not agree to wear an LGBT ‘Gay Pride’ jersey.
Lastly, we look at the growing tensions and alliances in the Middle East as nations start to come together against Israel, just as the Word of God warns us. Could war break out any day?

Our nation is seeing an infusion of radical progressive thought threatening the very foundation and future of our nation. The Church in America is also witnessing a surge in hyper-liberalism leading many to question the fundamental and traditional teachings of the Apostles and early Church. Is Progressive Christianity to be considered a part of Biblical Christianity? Or is this movement a cancer threatening the true church? Is it, as its leaders claim, just a more compassionate and deeper understanding of God’s Word? Or is it, as its critics claim, contradictory to God’s Word?
Our guest today is author Dan Jensen. He graduated from Bethany College with a BA in Social Science and a minor in Biblical/theological Studies. He later earned his first master’s Degree in Systematic Theology from the University of Aberdeen. He says “I am convinced that the church is on the precipice of a far greater controversy than took place during the early 20th century. Dan was inspired to write his new book after many years of debating with Progressive Christians in many venues, and seeing the havoc that they are beginning to wreak.
The book is titled A False Kind of Christianity.
Dan Jensen offers the conservative Evangelical community a no-nonsense assessment of the growing, aggressive progressive Christian movement. He provides his personal testimony, a short overview of the history behind the progressive Christian movement, a brief summary of its teachings, and clearly elucidates the fact progressive Christians possesses absolutely no biblical foundation. This movement must be countered by conservative Evangelicals.
“But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of truth will be blasphemed.” 2 Peter 2:1-2
Quoted: J. Gresham Machen said the chief modern rival of Christianity is liberalism, further stating:
“An examination of the teachings of liberalism will show that at every point the liberal movement is in opposition to the Christian message.”

President, Wisconsin Family Action & Wisconsin Family Council
Founded in 2006, Wisconsin Family Action exists to inform Wisconsin citizens about pro-family legislative and cultural issues, involve Wisconsin citizens in activities that strengthen the family, prepare Wisconsin citizens for elections, as the law provides, and advocate in the state legislature on cultural and legislative issues that affect the family. WFA advances Judeo-Christian principles and values in Wisconsin by strengthening, preserving, and promoting marriage, family, life and liberty.
Radical Liberalism is more than just a philosophical school of thought on how the Bible should be interpreted—it actually opposes fundamental truth and doctrine. But it is being presented these days as another gospel and leading many astray with its utopian promises. They are mishandling the scriptures to project Jesus as a Socialist who came to earth to forcibly redistribute wealth and create a utopia from man’s efforts.

President Trump is unveiling his “Deal of the Century,” aimed at bringing peace between Israel and her enemies, and many in the Christian community are watching to see if it is eventually accepted and implemented. But before we get the cart before the horse, let’s take a look at the practicality of the plan being acceptable to all parties concerned. And remember, even if a peace plan is eventually signed that doesn’t mean it is the peace treaty Daniel prophesies. There have been others before this.
John Loeffler of Steel on Steel Radio joins Mike and David to talk about this as well as continue our discussion from yesterday on Marxism invading American Christianity.
During the program, John Loeffler describes modern Progressive Marxist ideology as “A pitching deck of constantly changing ideas that are self-contradicting.”

Mike and David are off today. Crash Connell visits with Dave Wager about what the Bible teaches believers how we should live and love in the world around us. What is our motivation? Dave often refers to a book he’s reading, THE HOLY WAR by John Bunyan, 1st & 2nd John and passages in the book of Job.
Note: Tomorrow, June 19th, we’ll repeat a past podcast with Elijah Abraham and Jay Seegert from April 19, 2019. No podcast will post on the feeds.

Mike LeMay is taking some time off. Today, David Firoazo and Crash Connell talk with special guest, Anna Kitko first began in the Apologetics field witnessing to Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and Christian Scientists. She now has three university degrees in the field and a Masters of Biblical Studies from Reformed Theological Seminary. She is a member of the International Cultic Studies Association and is both Ratio Christi Regional Director for Tennessee and Chapter Director at the University of Tennessee – Knoxville, and also Ratio Christi’s Cults and New Religions Specialist.
For those who haven’t heard, June is Gay Pride month. The LGBTQ+ community and their allies are out in full force in American culture in the hopes of making converts to moral relativism and justifying unbilical lifestyles. From rainbow flags outside buildings across social media to multicolored decorations adorning your favorite shops and brands, it seems that the majority of Americans are celebrating. This may appear to be so but it is not true!
As the vocal minority celebrates, how should a Christian respond to Pride month? How can we present truth in love and with grace without offending? That’s a tall order, but we must obey God rather than man. We must prepare Christians to defend the faith and to speak truth. Ultimately, we want to build bridges to share the Gospel, not win arguments. When we are both compassionate and rational, our approach tends to be more thoughtful.
We need to understand modern perversions of words such as: diversity, equality, inclusive, tolerant, nonjudgmental, etc. This year, 2019 is the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots in NY when violent demonstrations erupted in reaction to police raids on gay bars. The gay community has been successful ever since to bring national attention to the LBGT+ community.
College campuses have become bastions of LGBT+ support and today, Christianity is quite unwelcome. Intolerant? Yes, but liberal professors outnumber conservative professors 12-1, and over 70% of ‘Christian’ youth abandon their faith after just one year at a secular university. Where the LGBTQ+ is concerned, Campus Pride events urge students to, “Take action against religion-based bigotry.” For too long, Christians have abandoned the university to this thinking.

Christians are commanded to communicate truth in love. We hope that through doing so we will see Christ, who is Truth and Love. The Gospel message has the power to transform the lives of students and faculty on campuses and subsequently change the world. As goes the university, so goes the culture.
Corporations Push ‘Pride,’ Ignore Former LGBTQ People
As thousands are coming out of LGBTQ lifestyles, thousands more are being programmed into it. Indoctrinated by the usual culprits, more money is flowing in from corporate America now than ever before. It’s not just Hollywood, government, and the liberal media, don’t forget public schools and the work of GLSEN, the Gay, Lesbian & Straight Education Network. GLSEN provides training and resources to LGBTQ activists on school campuses and in politics.
SIDE NOTE: Friday, Jun 14, 2019 we’ll rebroadcast an archived Q&A Friday, no new podcast.
