Is financial and ideological censorship on the rise?

Many, many stories have emerged in the media this week of banks, with ties to LGBT+ activist group Stonewall, closing the accounts of individuals with no explanation provided. These include Nigel Farage, Rev Richard Fothergill, and Professor Lesley Sawyers.

The Core Issues Trust, a ministry that offers support to men and women who voluntarily seek change in their sexual preference, expression and/or gender identity, has also been targeted. With the support of the Christian Legal Centre, they secured over £20k in compensation plus legal costs as settlement for a legal claim for discrimination.

On today's Round The Table, Tim Dieppe is joined by Mike Davidson of Core Issues Trust, and Joe Boot from the Ezra Institute to discuss this alarming trend of financial exclusion for expressing the wrong views.

Over 4,000,000 children have taken part in Just Like Us' extreme LGBT+ Diversity Week – the majority of which without the knowledge of their parents.

Additionally, many more schools will have celebrated LGBT+ Pride or have plans to do so.

A new survey shows that there is overwhelming support for people who are struggling withs sexual or gender identity issue being allowed to seek therapy for these issues.

Notwithstanding the lack of popular support, the government is still planning to ban what it calls ‘conversion therapy’ which will criminalise therapists or others who seek to help people who want to be helped.

Tim Dieppe is joined by Andrea Williams and professional therapist Mike Davidson who has helped multiple clients with these issues.
