Countless problems like waves crashing upon your tiny weak vessel. But, as if by untold miracles, it stays afloat. Why? Because in your vessel is the Word of God. David expresses well all his trepidation and fear to the Lord in Psalm 31. Every believer must find time to meditate and rest in the Lord. This is an uncommon privilege offered only to the people of the Covenant. Jesus came to complete the work on the cross that no human being could accomplish, and He offered all His disciples, true rest. A supernaturally empowered rest that none of us can earn.   So, keep your hope and trust in the Lord strong. Do not waver, doubt, or worry. God will make everything beautiful in His time. 

Whatever thing that God does will endure forever - nothing can be added to it and nothing is taken from it. Whatever is has already been, and what will be has been before, and God will call the past to account. Everything is in the hands of God. Trust Him, meditate upon His goodness, and rest in His presence.

The Lord of the Covenant speaks to you through His Words. As you meditate, be sure to relax, and breathe gently and deeply. Allow every life-giving verse to touch your heart and saturate your being. God’s promises are far more powerful than all the crises of the world. His covenant with His people is far more concrete than the foundation of the earth.
