Beloved of Christ, when the circumstances seem to overwhelm, please know that you can enter into the deep spiritual rest that is already provided by God.  You will recollect all the promises that the Bible has given that Jesus is always offering to you His warm embrace and unconditional love.  Do not let your doubt be the barrier to His love.  Trust our Lord and His promise of giving you rest, especially when you are laden with heavy burdens of worry and fear.  Pause this temporal moment and take in that beautiful vision of eternity – the God of eternity is in control and all will be well at the End of the Age.  Let the Psalmist cheer you with his song in Psalm 62.1-2 – “My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from Him. He alone is my Rock and my Salvation; He is my fortress, I will never be shaken.”  Take a break, pause, meditate with the help of this video and just rest in God alone.
