However, once Jesus himself becomes our media our mediator we will most definitely understand and rejoice in the truth of HIS Gospel.

He said that even angels long to look into these things. All this has been made possible, Peter tells us, because we have been redeemed by the precious blood of Christ. So sure was God's plan of salvation in human history that Jesus was chosen to be our Savior before the creation of the world.

All this and more has been revealed in the first chapter of the first letter of Peter. What now? Now, we all have a calling on our lives. We are called to love one another deeply from our hearts. We are also called to represent God and his salvation to a lost and dying world. We now have a calling of priesthood.
