It is an interesting thing to ponder that, Jesus, the Second Person of the Holy Trinity, would go through all the trouble to take on a body and enter this world. Jesus entered this world was to give the world a warning: "Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves" (Matthew 7:15).

All we who have bowed and received Jesus as Savior will now know that he is also our Great Shepherd. We must keep watch. Every believer is a "watchman." A watchman would stand guard atop the walls of the city to warn of any trouble on the horizon. The city would be warned and the gates would be shut for the protection of everyone. We train ourselves to be able to discern truth from error. Our lives at stake. We are called to keep watch.

In fact, from a human point of view, it could be said that God broke every rule known to science by creating the universe. He created everything out of nothing. That's impossible! That's the miracle of God's arithmetic.

The disciples had a front row seat as they witnessed the miracles of Jesus. Imagine being witness to Jesus feeding over 5,000 people with only 5 small barley loaves and 2 small fish. Where did he get all the fish and bread to feed all those people in the middle of nowhere? 5 plus 2 will always equal 7 in this natural world. But not so when Jesus enters the scene. That's the miracle of God's arithmetic.

Love and justice cannot be separated. To separate love from justice makes no logical sense. It also cannot be lived-out in the real world. Wrongs must be righted. This is true if someone steps on your toe, or if someone commits murder. We all live under the power of the biggest wrong in the universe: SIN. How can God possibly make this right and still be a God of love?Enter Jesus Christ, the Savior. And what does Jesus save us from" The worst environmental problem in the universe: sin. This proves God is love.
