The Bible teaches us that faith must be channeled through a conduit in order to get to the Father. If we truly believe in the God of the Bible, we must understand that His holiness and glory are unapproachable.

How does our affection, gratitude, and honor reach Him then?

That’s the question that Peter answers today. So, as we listen to the study today, we need to ask ourselves if our faith is following the prescription that God ordained.

If so, we’re good to go. If not, then we need to repent and make changes so that our faith is not manmade, but God-ordained and God-approved.

Verse: 1 Peter 1:21

We will look at how God prepared help for us long before we knew we needed help.

Also, talk about how we should think about this truth and how we should respond to this grace.

Verse - 1 Peter 1:20

Now, if time is so precious but moves so quickly, how do we spend it?

The world will tell you to spend time on yourself to gratify selfish desires before it’s too late. The world proclaims this message as if it provides any sort of fulfillment at all. This is a lie from the pit of hell!

For Christians, our minds should be focused on one thing – the Lord. The Bible teaches that our lives are not our own to live for our own purposes. But do you think that this limits God from blessing us if we endeavor to live for Him?

Verse: 1 Peter 1:18-19

Have you ever considered stewardship over your salvation?

We will look at how the Lord will judge His people to see how well we took care of the stuff He entrusted to us. 

Verse - 1 Peter 1:17

God commanded us to be holy, which means that we are to live like God does, according to His nature and purposes.

Obedience to this command should be the top priority in life.

Verse: 1 Peter 1:16

What does it mean to be Holy?

We better know the answer to this question because it’s a command that God gave several times in both the Old and New Testaments!

We know that God is Holy, and according to His command, we’re supposed to be Holy too. How does this work? 

Can we really be like God?

What does this mean concerning our natural habits, traditions, and worldview?

Verse: 1 Peter 1:15

The celebration of Resurrection Sunday is EVERYTHING for us Christians. Paul said himself that if the resurrection is fake, we are the most pitiful people on the planet. This must mean that the promises of God are proved since Jesus’ resurrection is true and obvious.

Shouldn’t that provoke some sort of response from us?

How should we spend our celebration of the Lord today and any other day moving forward?

Well, today we will find out how the Bible answers that question.

Verse: 1 Peter 1:14

Today is Palm Sunday. The day we celebrate the Triumphal Entry of Jesus Christ. The importance of this day does not just lie in the glory that Jesus received on that day.

The events of Palm Sunday prove that God is able to do anything and everything necessary to fulfill the promises of His Word. God’s prophecy was fulfilled on the exact day He proclaimed, showing that people, circumstances, or time cannot affect the fulfillment of God’s Word.

The verse we will look at today will show why all of our hope should rest in the Lord.

Verse - 1 Peter 1:13

How privileged are we? The Bible tells us to deny the things of the world, not only because they’re dangerous, but also because they’re worthless compared to the things that God has in store for us.

How good is it? Well, in today’s study, we’re going to look at 1 Peter 1:12 to see what the benefits of God’s New Covenant promises look like, and how we are extremely privileged to be beneficiaries of those promises in this day and age.

How do we know that God is really working in our life?

Some people will look to favorable circumstances, call them blessings and figure that to be a sign of God’s favor.

Others might look into difficulties of life and think they are being targeted by the devil, so must be in good standing with the Lord.

Are either of these really valid?

Well, the only way to know for sure is to know the patterns of God’s work in the Bible, which is exactly what we look at it today.
