2020 NFL Draft Prospect, Safety out of Eastern Washington University, Dehonta Hayes joins the show to talk about his experiences throughout the past few months preparing for his pro-day, the numbers that Hayes recorded would put him near the top of the list in all categories compared to safeties that were at the NFL Scouting combine (40: 4.44, Shuttle: 4.09, L-Drill, 6.73, Vertical: 39.5in., Broad Jump: 10ft, 11in., Bench: 16 reps). Hayes has been the starting strong-safety for the past two seasons for the EWU Eagles. In July of 2019, Hayes & a teammate found themselves in the "wrong place at the wrong time" as they both suffered gunshot wounds. Hayes was shot in the neck but somehow found a way to recover and three weeks later was participating in the teams first practice of the year and would go on to lead the Eagles of Eastern Washington with 115 tackles to go along with 2 interceptions. Quite the redemption story. Follow on Twitter @ChrisShanafelt
