2020 NFL Draft Prospect, DB out of the University of Montreal, Marc-Antoine Dequoy joins the show to discuss his unique journey and preparation for the NFL Draft. Throughout his Montreal Carabins career, Dequoy intercepted opposing quarterbacks 12 times, returning 6 of them for touchdowns. As a Senior in '19, Dequoy's success and leadership on the defensive side of the ball was a key reason why the Carabins were able to make a deep run in the playoffs and appear in the 55th annual Vanier Cup (Canadian National Championship). Unfortunately Montreal lost to Calgary 27-13 but Dequoy sheds some light on the special season he and his teammates had and what it was like to play in a game with such high stakes on the line.
In January, Marc-Antoine Dequoy was invited to participate in the East-West Shrine Bowl, one of the top college football all-star games that takes place in St. Petersburg, FL. Unfortunately he wasn't able to play in the game itself due to fracturing his arm but he was able to make an impression throughout the week of practice and showed that he belonged and deserved to compete with the best of the best.
On March 9th, the spotlight was on Duquoy was the University of Montreal held its first ever NFL pro-day. It was there where he put up some amazing numbers (40: 4.43, 6.65 L-cone, 37in. vertical, 10ft, 8in. broad jump) all while measuring in at 6'2 3/4, 198 pounds. Professional team in attendance were the Chicago Bears and the Philadelphia Eagles of the NFL and the Montreal Allouettes and the Hamilton Tigercats of the CFL.
