One week. That’s all that’s left, and we can feel the pressure building in every conversation, every headline, and every poll that tries to tell you the story before a single vote is counted. We share what we’re seeing firsthand while traveling and speaking across the country, and why the “on the ground” reality often clashes with the media narrative. If you care about faith and culture, biblical values, and the real-world impact of Christian voter turnout, this is the moment to lock in your plan.
We also talk about something bigger than politics: the rising generation. Tim shares what hit him at Liberty University, where 10,000 students packed an arena for worship and it felt unmistakably like God is stirring bold faith again. That encouragement matters because the stakes are real, and close elections can turn on a few thousand votes when churches stay silent or believers stay home.
From there, we dig into the mechanics: why early voting stats can be misread, how polling can create false confidence or needless panic, and what it looks like to strategically focus on competitive House races and key Senate races in places most people ignore. We also share why election integrity reforms at the state level matter, what to watch for on election night coverage, and where to find help researching candidates if you’re still deciding.
If you found this helpful, subscribe to the WallBuilders Show, share it with a friend who needs a clear head right now, and leave a review so more people can find faith-based, historically grounded election insight.

Money can be a wonderful servant or a terrible master. It touches nearly every part of our lives, influencing our decisions, shaping our priorities, and often revealing what matters most to us.
But have you ever wondered why the Bible has so much to say about it?
According to bestselling author Randy Alcorn, Founder and Director of Eternal Perspective Ministries, the answer has less to do with money itself and more to do with what money reveals about our hearts.
On today’s show, Randy joined us to share insights from his forthcoming 31-day devotional with FaithFi, exploring why God's wisdom about money ultimately invites greater freedom, contentment, and joy.
Money Is Always About More Than MoneyScripture addresses money and possessions with remarkable frequency. From the wisdom of Proverbs to the teachings of Jesus, financial stewardship appears throughout the biblical narrative.
Why does God devote so much attention to something we might consider merely practical?
Because money is never just about money. "What we do with our money is an indication of where our heart is," Randy explains.
Jesus makes this connection in Matthew 6:21: "For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
Our financial decisions reveal what we value, what we trust, and where we seek security. They can expose our fears and misplaced priorities, but they can also express worship, compassion, and love for our neighbors.
The danger comes when we separate our financial lives from our spiritual lives.
We may think of prayer, worship, and Bible study as spiritual activities, while treating budgets, careers, and purchases as entirely different matters. Yet Scripture makes no such distinction.
We live one life before the Lord, and every part of it belongs to Him.
That means managing money isn't simply an exercise in financial responsibility. It's an opportunity to grow in discipleship, learning to trust God and use His provision for purposes that reflect His character.
God's Correction Is an Invitation to FreedomSome of Scripture's teachings about money can make us uncomfortable.
Jesus warns against greed, challenges misplaced trust in wealth, and calls His followers to a life of generosity. These teachings sometimes confront attitudes we'd rather leave unexamined. But Randy encourages us to see that discomfort differently.
Drawing from Proverbs 27:6, which says, "Faithful are the wounds of a friend," he reminds us that loving correction is often necessary for genuine growth.
Just as a trusted friend may lovingly confront something harmful in our lives, God's Word exposes what threatens our relationship with Him.
"The Holy Spirit loves to expose our idols, and it's not to humiliate us. It's to liberate us from those idols," Randy says.
That distinction matters. God's instructions about money aren't designed to burden us with guilt or deprive us of enjoyment. They're intended to free us from trusting in something that cannot ultimately satisfy.
When money becomes our source of identity, security, or significance, it demands more than it can ever deliver. But when money takes its rightful place as a gift from God, it becomes a powerful instrument for worship, generosity, and compassion.
Why More Never Seems to Be EnoughOne of the most persistent promises of our culture is that greater prosperity will bring greater happiness.
We imagine how much better life will be when we purchase a new home, receive a salary increase, take a dream vacation, or finally reach a particular financial milestone. And while those experiences can bring genuine enjoyment, their ability to satisfy us is limited.
Randy observes that, as we grow older, we often disco
Teen depression doesn't always look the way parents expect. Sometimes the warning signs are obvious, but other times a teen may be struggling deeply without showing any outward signs at all. Mark and Wayne discuss the growing concern of teen depression, including changes in behavior, withdrawal, hopelessness, self-harm and other warning signs parents shouldn't ignore. Mark also explains how to start meaningful conversations, take your teen's feelings seriously and recognize when professional help is needed. You'll also hear from a Heartlight teen who shares how depression and anxiety contributed to conflict at home and unhealthy coping behaviors — and how he's learning to understand his emotions, ask for support and find healthier ways forward. Tune in to this important conversation today!
