Mary welcomes back Pastor Mike Spaulding of Calvary Chapel of Lima Ohio to talk about the changing face of an unchanging gospel. How do we navigate profound cultural changes and stay the course? And not only stay the course but exhort others to as well? Change is the one constant, it would appear. With that in mind, we discuss some weighty things with Pastor Mike, such as sound doctrine, political engagement and the church, pastors and their reputations, and how to steady the ship here in 2026. There are so many things tugging at us all, but shouldn’t church be safe, painless, and uncompromising? On paper, yes of course. In practice, with people’s sensibilities today, is it even possible? And if we got a letter from Paul, or John, what might it say? Or maybe we can queue up in the Laodicean line, a prophecy that is easier and easier to comprehend the closer we get to His return. A challenging hour for the church, in real time and on today’s edition of SUFTT.

In 2 Corinthians 11, the Apostle Paul gives one of his strongest warnings to the Church: deception doesn’t always look evil. Sometimes it looks remarkably close to the truth.
In today’s message Gary examines Paul’s passionate defense of his apostleship, his warning about “another Jesus,” “another spirit,” and “another gospel,” and the danger of false apostles who disguise themselves as ministers of Christ. Paul even warns that Satan himself can appear as an angel of light.
Demystifying the ‘Mystery’ of the Rapture. We are joined by Carl Broggi (Pastor). Topics discussed include: Unlocking the ‘Mystery’. Navigating the Timing. The Time of Tribulation & Sequence of Events. Living Ready.
Your ballot is not a love letter, and it’s definitely not a place to nurse a grudge. We’re feeling a shift on the ground, and we talk through what we’re seeing as we travel: pastors showing unexpected courage, churches waking up to how close elections really are, and turnout that can swing a congressional district with just a few hundred votes. Rick Green, David Barton, Tim Barton, and special guest Chad Connelly break down why Christian voter turnout is often the margin of victory, especially in districts decided by less than 1,000 votes.
We also dig into early voting numbers and the stories people are telling about them. Higher early turnout can be encouraging, but the real question is who is voting and whether new voters are actually entering the system. Along the way we tackle the hard part: what to do when you don’t like a candidate, when someone on “your side” tells you to sit it out, and why that kind of protest can backfire. One of the most memorable moments is a blunt metaphor for the stakes: not Diet Coke versus Diet Pepsi, but Diet Coke versus Drano.
Then we get practical with an election watchlist: New Hampshire, Maine, Ohio, Iowa, Michigan, and even Alaska, plus ranked choice voting and ballot measures that could shape abortion policy, women’s sports, and more. We also share where to find our election night coverage and analysis.
