"Forgiveness is, in a sense, the refusal to hate. And we need to realize that this is a gift that God has given us."

"God’s forgiveness was not painless. He secured it at great cost to Himself. And all who forgive feel that cost. To ask someone to forgive is to ask them to eat that cost and that’s a heavy thing to ask."
