God does everything that He does in order to have a relationship with us. In order to do so, he created the Sabbath! This is a day of rest that we practice so that we can honor God and fill ourselves back up.

God has to give the Israelites a bunch of rules and regulations in order to be able to spend time with them. Because of Jesus, however, we have much easier access to the love that God has to give.

God gave all of the instructions in order to spend time with His people, the Israelites. Because of Jesus, we are able to spend time with God in a much easier way.

God gave the Israelites instructions to build the Tabernacle and its surrounding things in order to spend time with His people. Luckily, because of Jesus, all we need is an open heart and a willingness to spend time with God.

God gave the Israelites instructions on how to build the Tabernacle just so He could spend time with them. Today, we don't need to build a building in order to have a relationship with God, we just need to invite Him into our hearts!

God gave the Israelites rules so He can protect vulnerable people and change the way the Israelites are living to be such a way that honors God and loves others. While some of these rules won't apply to us today, the intention behind them still does.
