After time and time again of God showing His miraculous signs to Pharaoh, his heart is finally unharded and he allowed Moses to take the Israelites out of Egypt. This was only able to happen because Moses kept going back to the one that God called him to share God with.

We all have our "one," or the person that God has given us a special assignment to bring to Him. In Exodus, Moses's one was Pharaoh, and he kept coming back again and again. Who is your one? Who is the person that you need to keep coming back to so they can become a follower of Christ?

Sometimes God works in ways that we don't understand, and that causes doubt. God wants us to come to Him when we feel doubt, because doubt comes from the enemy who wants nothing more than for us to turn away from God.

Sometimes we choose to live with our sin just like Pharaoh does. How do we stop that? We flee from our sin and run to God like our life depends on it, because it does.

Even though Pharaoh had the ability to end his suffering at the exact moment he was asked, he decided to live with the frogs one more night. How much have we decided to do the same thing and live with sin that we can give to God right now.

God chose to harden the heart of Pharaoh so that He can show off and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that He is Lord. Because of that, Moses and Aaron do not succeed right away at freeing the Israelites. Most of the time, the things we do to advance the Kingdom of Heaven take time!

God is not about calling the equipped, but equipping the called. Don't doubt God's calling because you feel that you don't have the right abilities for the job.

Moses and Aaron fail at their first attempt to get Pharaoh to allow the Israelite people to leave Egypt. In our walks with God, we will often face failure and opposition when trying to advance the Kingdom of Heaven. Like we will see in the Bible, that does not mean that we stop trying.

This chapter reminds us that God doesn't call the equipped, but He equips the called. It is completely natural for us to be scared or nervous when doing things to advance the Kingdom of Heaven!
