Author of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings trilogy, J.R.R. Tolkien has long been lauded for his imagination. His own children were especially blessed by this gift each Christmas when their father would write them letters seemingly signed by "Father Christmas." With charming sketches and hilarious tales of Christmas-preparations-gone-wrong, these letters include a glimpse at an entire cast of mythical creatures living at the North Pole.
