At its April 24, 2026 meeting, the Mililani-Waipio Neighborhood Board revisited speeding and safety concerns, received updates on Army activity, water conservation, school environmental review, and storm debris cleanup at Central Oahu Regional Park, heard an extensive presentation on the Red Hill health registry, highlighted flood recovery and donation efforts, and reviewed a wide range of city, state, and legislative community issues.

At its April 24, 2026 meeting, the Waipahu Neighborhood Board focused on public safety and storm recovery, pressing for traffic-calming and bridge-closure improvements, reviewing emergency and crime updates, questioning the use of Central Oahu Regional Park for storm debris, and receiving development, budget, and legislative reports from city, state, and federal officials.

At its April 23, 2026 meeting, the Makakilo-Kapolei-Honokai Hale Neighborhood Board heard fire, police, and city landfill briefings but overwhelmingly focused on evacuation risks, environmental justice, and distrust surrounding the proposed Makaʻīwa Hills landfill, ultimately voting unanimously to oppose any new landfill in West Oʻahu.

At its April 24, 2026 meeting, the Nuuanu-Punchbowl Neighborhood Board lacked a quorum and therefore only heard reports and public concerns on crime, water system projects and conservation, park and road safety, storm recovery, public health, transportation issues, and ongoing board vacancies.

At its April 22, 2026 meeting, the Nānākuli-Māʻili Neighborhood Board focused largely on storm flooding impacts and recovery frustrations, heard public safety and agency updates, filled two board vacancies, backed Christmas on the Avenue and a Piliokahi Avenue naming resolution, and discussed major community concerns including landfill expansion, school accountability, and infrastructure projects.

At the April 22, 2026 Mililani Mauka–Launani Valley Neighborhood Board meeting, officials shared public safety, military, transportation, and disaster-recovery updates while residents raised major concerns about Launani Valley landslides and HOA negligence, military housing and aircraft impacts, a chronic Wikao Street seepage problem, and alleged misconduct by a board member over sign removal.

At its April 17, 2026 meeting, the Kaneohe Neighborhood Board acknowledged sub-district vacancies, received emergency and infrastructure updates from local agencies, supported upcoming community events and legislative initiatives, and concluded with routine board business and planning.

In its April 17 session, the Waialae-Kahala Neighborhood Board heard updates on emergency services, infrastructure, homelessness, and upcoming events, and discussed a proposed archery dojo at Maunalani Nature Park—ultimately deferring any formal decisions due to lack of quorum.

At its April 17, 2026 meeting, the Makiki-Tantalus Neighborhood Board discussed heightened crime statistics and HPD enforcement (including traffic, noise, and homeless outreach), HFD’s fire and medical response updates, liquor law issues at Tipsy Pig, upcoming water main projects, infrastructure and traffic-calming measures, elected officials’ legislative efforts, and community concerns about reckless driving, culminating in the appointment of a new at-large member, restoration of the May meeting, and consideration of boundary adjustments.

During the April 16, 2026 Kalihi-Palama Neighborhood Board Meeting, city agencies, elected officials, and community members covered HFD and HPD updates, ongoing illegal game room concerns, HART construction progress, neighborhood events, nuisance properties, and city/state legislative efforts, while deferring board business due to lack of quorum.
