It's okay to not be okay. Life comes in waves. Because of this, we must accept our down days as part of the experience of the living.
We say we're fine when we're not. We say we'll be there when we really emotionally we can't. We don't have to be strong all of the time. We can take a moment to not be okay. In fact, it's necessary because lying to ourselves can only go so far.
Use this episode as a friendly reminder, that it's okay to not be okay.

There's this idea that being rejected by something or someone is a bad thing. In this Monday Message, Frantzces explores what this means.
When we accept the story of rejection we create more suffering in our lives. It makes us feel unworthy when that indeed isn't the case. We often carry that story on with us for years to come when we're rejected. It goes as far as childhood and into adulthood.
As a result, our relationships suffer and our purpose becomes mangled with despair. It's crucial to begin to reframe what this means for us in our lives. The sooner we accept the perspective that rejection is a gift, the quicker we can live beautiful and fulfilling lives.

When you're in a lot of pain it's kind of hard to think about how to transform it. Especially, if at first, you haven't accepted pain as part of the human experience.
Pain is inevitable, however, suffering is optional, says the Buddhist quote. Suffering is the idea of prolonging a painful experience and holding on to it. But, by holding on to it for extended periods of time isn't useful.
Elizabeth Gilbert says, "Never waste your suffering. If you don't transform your pain, you've suffered for no reason."
What does this mean? This quote encourages you to take a look at your pain through a different lens. A lens that helps you to manage and transform your pain in ways that are beneficial and useful.
Pain is powerful because it creates wisdom and helps you to strengthen your resiliency. So as much as many of you want to eliminate it, that's not possible. As much as you want to ignore it, it'll still be felt. Knowing this to be the case, what are you going to do now?

Toxic work environments are a real thing. Are you in a toxic relationship with your job? If you're at a job that's causing you chronic stress then it's time to decide whether this is something you can continue doing.
Chronic stress in your life causes a whole host of mental and physical health issues.
Stop working in environments that don't value you. Stop working in environments that you don't feel safe enough to speak up. Stop working in environments where there is no trust.
Did you know that levels of depression and anxiety among people who are unhappy at work were the same or greater than those who were unemployed?
"Those who feel they have more control, who feel empowered to make decisions instead of waiting for approval, suffer less stress. Those only doing as they are told always forced to follow the rules are the ones who suffer the most. Our feelings of control, stress, and our ability to perform at our best are all directly tied to how safe we feel in our organizations." Simon Sinek

We sat with Angelie from GILobally Grounded to have a conversation about what it's like being single abroad. She's an expat originally from The Philippines but now living in Australia.
She reached out to us because she wanted to have this conversation about what it's like to be single abroad.
This was a great conversation about what romantic relationships mean and what does it mean to find the companionship you're searching for.
This is a different format for us, so please let us know what you think. Also, quick announcement, Random Realness is back, but it's just us!
It will be a banter that consists of us talking about travel, our individual lives and collectively what we're up to. These episodes will be short and sweet. As always, we love when you take the conversation off the podcast and onto Instagram and Facebook.
If you're single and living abroad, what has it been like for you?

Abby is the host of The Wanderlusters Mind. A podcast that interviews world travelers from around the world who are transitioning back to their home countries.
Abby spent most of her life playing competitive sports. But, after a terrible sports injury, Abby had some time to think about her life. She was inspired to travel by a family member. After some thinking, she decided to buy a one-way ticket to Buenos Aires.
When she was about to run out of moneyinstead of going home she applied for a visa to Canada. She ended up living there for three years. She's visited 30 plus countries since then.
Abby says it's important to put yourself out there. By putting herself out there she was able to have many wonderful experiences with other travelers on her traveling journey.
Upon returning home, she was unable to connect with friends. There is such a thing as reverse culture shock!
But, she didn't want to return to the 9-5 and people couldn't understand that. Abby wanted to create a lifestyle that she loved.
Now as a life coach, she works with other ex-pats who are transitioning back to their home countries.
In this episode, you'll be inspired by the following:
1. Don't worry, nothing will go to plan but that's a good thing. 2. Travel helps you to step outside of your comfort zone. 3. Travel opens up your perspective to new things.

Have you thought about the programming that's in your mind? You're either programming your mind or being programmed.
This matters because much of what you learned was given to you or fed to you. Either by your caregivers, by TV, and even by social media. It is up to you to question the programming that's running through your head.
This means finding material and information to replace the old programming. How do you do that? By filtering the information and messages that you receive. By creating an environment so the unhelpful programming doesn't seep into your mind.
When Frantzces went on this personal development journey 7 years ago, she accumulated a lot of audio, videos and books that changed her life. Would you like the list? Send an email to [email protected].
