Half a galaxy away, the Xunvirian Empire is expressing a rare emotion for their species: fear. Tasked to work among them is Daoket, an assistant ambassador to the Galactic Federal Council, who uncovers a massive political cover-up and the reason for their fears: There is a new enemy among the stars.
