Episode 173- Nick Griemsmann! In all the interviews I’ve done, Nick’s story is the most incredible. While working a bartender at a nightclub he decided he wanted a different life for himself. After joining the infamous Tony Alamo cult, Nick was diagnosed with “incurable” schizophrenia. After multiple hospitalizations, medications and hard times, he began a healing journey. He eventually received a “decertification letter” that said he no longer had a diagnosis of schizophrenia. It’s an incredibly inspiring story that we both hope can help people struggling with mental illness.
