The Celtics finally have an opponent for the Eastern Conference Finals: the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers beat the Knicks in 7 games and they’ll travel to Boston for game 1 of the ECF on Tuesday night. The Celtics are heavily favored but the Pacers have a potent offense, pesky defenders, and a deep bench. They’re led by do-it-all point guard Tyrese Haliburton and All-NBA forward Pascal Siakam who was acquired at the trade deadline.

The haters are furious but the Boston Celtics are back in the Eastern Conference Finals. They closed out the Cavs 113-98 at home for a 4-1 series victory. Al Horford was on demon time and he led the way with 22/15/5 and a massive injection of energy on both ends. Tatum had 25/10/9 and D White added 18/5/6. The Celtics now get to wait to see if it’ll be the Knicks or Pacers waiting for them in the ECF.

No Donovan Mitchell, no problem, right? Not exactly, but the Celtics are able to grind out a game 4 victory over the Cavs 109-102 and take a commanding 3-1 lead in their round 2 playoff series. Much like in game 3 it was the Jays and Jrue leading the way. Tatum had 33/11/5, Jaylen had 27/8, and Jrue added 16/7/5 with outstanding defense as usual. The Cavs fought valiantly without their best player, raining 3s in the first half and rallying behind a 30 ball from Garland. The series now heads back to Boston where the Celtics will look to close things out on Wednesday night and advance to the Eastern Conference Finals.
Chuddy and Doug break down all the action and take a look around the NBA at every playoff series, break down a crazy NBA draft lottery, and talk potential repercussions of a new media rights deal for the league.

As they always seem to do, the Celtics go on the road and respond with a 106-93 game 3 win over the Cavs. The C’s now lead the second-round series 2-1. The Jays led the way as Jayston Tatum had 33 points and 13 rebounds while Jaylen Brown had 28 points on 13-17 shooting. The defense for Boston was a major story as well; they survived a hot shooting night from Donovan Mitchell and were able to limit the Cavs role players. The Celts will look to take a 3-1 stranglehold in the series on Monday.

The Cavaliers come out and lay the smackdown on the Celtics in Boston 118-94. The C’s gag away home-court advantage yet again with an underwhelming performance on both ends. Evan Mobley played one of the best games of his career and Donovan Mitchell got going in the second half to blow things open. The Celtics have a lot of soul-searching to do as they head to Cleveland for games 3 & 4.

The Celtics finally have a round 2 opponent! Boston will take on the 4th-seeded Cleveland Cavaliers in the second round, starting Tuesday night. The Celtics are expecting to be without Kristaps Porzingis for this series, but they should have plenty of options to throw at the Cavs star guards, Donovan Mitchell and Darius Garland. Cleveland has injury concerns of their own with Jarrett Allen and Celtics-killer Dean Wade.
Chuddy and Doug break down the matchup and make their predictions plus take a look around the NBA with a look at every other series going on in the NBA playoffs.

The Celtics take care of business and slay the evil demon Heat in dominant fashion 118-84 to finish off their first-round series 4-1. Derrick White and Jaylen Brown each poured in 25 points while Jayson Tatum controlled the game on both ends. This was a party from start to finish and the Celtics even gave the fans a chance to appreciate the legendary Mike Gorman who called the final game of his career.
Chuddy and Doug break down the game, take a look ahead to Game 5, and break down some of the other series going on in the NBA playoffs.
