Some of us have been waiting on the dream God has given us for more than just a few weeks or months; it’s been years. Pastor Scott reminds us that even though it lingers, even though it tarry, even though it seems slow, God says it will surely come and it will not delay!
Have you ever pulled into a driveway and some small detail stood out like a neon light that bugged you? Well, after that you kept pulling in that same driveway with that same detail but you began to not see it anymore over time. This can happen to Christians. Either man began nowhere and is looking for someplace to go or he began somewhere and lost his way. In either case he's searching. The Gospel is that grace has been searching for us, you don’t have to go searching for it. Grace is not a concept, Grace is a Person and He is our Shepard.
Yes, God loves us. We know that. "Smile! Jesus loves you!" Even some of the worst people in this world believe that He loves them. What people have a hard time with is, "Does God like me?" People feel like God is angry with them for being sinful. Like, God likes Christians more than he likes drunks. We are all sinners. n Jesus, God likes you. He wants to spend time with you, in your car, in the kitchen when the kids are demanding dinner and you're about to lose your mind, even in the darkest times of your life when nobody is around. He likes you and He won't leave you.

In the family of the Church, we find refuge and safety but we need each other to fulfill the purposes of God in our lives. None of us can do it alone, so don’t be a square because then you’re not around. And, when you’re not around you miss out!
Relationships, Careers, Family, Money.... Life. With all of the different aspects of life we find pressure, regret and hopelessness but we believe, as a church, that your future is greater than your past and with Christ, the best is yet to come.
When the winds of life blow agains't the promise and the boat you're traveling on falls apart we have hope in this: that, It Shall Happen.
