As we conclude our “Home for Christmas” series on this Epiphany Sunday, may we focus on the power of transformation, because of Christmas. When the Magi went home, they went back a different route, but they also went home different people. May our encounter with Jesus leave us changed, too.

Mary and Joseph took Jesus to be dedicated to God. When Simeon saw Jesus, he saw the fulfillment of hope, peace, joy, and love, and knew the world would never be the same. Join us as we celebrate this New Year’s Eve in worship, thankful for Christmas, and looking forward to a new year full of God’s hope, peace, joy, and love.

God created the world, called it good...even very good...because of love. Humanity messed that up, creating a separation, but God had a plan to come back home. Join us as we celebrate this holy time where God sent us Jesus so we all can be ‘home for Christmas.’

The Promise of Jesus brings hope and peace to us so we can experience joy in life, regardless of whatever life throws our way. Joseph’s trust in God gave him the joy he needed to do the right thing, even when it was the hard thing. Join us as we prepare for Christmas, expecting the Lord to work miracles when we might not be able to see another way out.

God sent an angel to tell Mary He was ‘coming home.’ This news would have been terrifying for anyone, but it carried dangerous consequences for a young girl like Mary. Still, the presence of God’s Holy Spirit gave Mary a peace that helped her be at home in a world that full of problems. Join us as we continue our December series and learn how God’s presence and power in your life can help you feel at home this Christmas, even in a world for of problems.

John the Baptist was sent to prepare the way for Jesus. He proclaimed a message of forgiveness and salvation. Join us as we begin the season of Advent and what it means to be ‘home for Christmas,’ with this hope as our call to turn to God.
