In the hour of his deepest need, Jesus prayed that the will of the Father

would be done. We will explore how when we talk to God we should seek his will and not our own.

Praying honestly requires us to get real with ourselves and with God. Praying honestly enables us to unlock the power of faith so we can see the presence and activity of God at work in daily life.

Even after Peter and John were put into jail and their lives were threatened

due to sharing about Jesus, they prayed boldly that God would use them to

spread his good news to the world. We will explore how praying boldly can help us confront circumstances that are uncertain, intimidating, or downright scary.

At the end of his life, King David praised God in the presence of the people. We will explore how when we talk to God, we should praise him for who he is and thank him for all he has done.

God is there to pull us out when we cannonball into the deep end of life. It doesn't matter how we may view ourselves or how others view us; God will lend out his hand and save us from drowning in life's waves.

Jesus followers are called to help others carry their burdens in order to fulfill the command to love. Sometimes this makes us vulnerable and puts us in great risk, but it is always worth it to the one in need. May we learn to follow Jesus' godly example and love as we have been loved.

Free and Godly living requires us to quit looking at things from our point of view, and look for God's. May we choose God's side above all others.

God created us for a purpose. Through a relationship with Him, He guides us to how we fit in to His family.
