As we lead into Easter Sunday, we take this time to reflect on what Palm Sunday really means. Jesus came into this world with people expecting an earthly kingdom to be established, but that's not what God was planning. He in fact had something greater in mind.

It is easy to get caught up in our "story." We can only see the current chapter being written, but God shows us that He has more in store for us if we would just allow Him to show us.

It is pretty easy sometimes to forget or write off the vastness of God's grace. We get wrapped up in our own sin that we think that we couldn't ever be saved. Truth be told we don't deserve God's grace, but through Christ Jesus we have a way to receive the gift of God's mercy and grace.

As we continue "The Hope of Glory" series, we take this Sunday to look at how accepting Jesus allows us to come into the glorious family of God.

Let's be honest with ourselves, we are most certainly diamonds in the rough. Sometimes we are flat out coal, but God; through His mercy and love, refines us. It is through this constant refining process that we are made closer to in becoming a reflection of God's image.
