  • Crawling With Gays

    TRANSCRIPT

It doesn't seem that any other conclusion is possible these days other than much of the clergy, including the hierarchy, is simply crawling with homosexual men. Now, some people will say that's too mean, that's too divisive, you're not charitable. Yet the situation in the Church has turned so chaotic that these "purveyors of charity" must now provide a solid explanation for the evil going on and stop hiding behind things like "I don't like the tone" stupid argument in an effort to avoid any serious discussions.

Things have to be said directly, because, frankly, there are simply too many wimpy men in the Church who would rather kill the messengers than talk about the chaos. Case in point — the upcoming World Meeting of Families in Dublin next year, where the controversial Amoris Laetitia is the focus and specifically being used to push the idea of gay families being accepted in the Church. This is being done under the watchful eye of Dublin's Abp. Diarmuid Martin, who offered no defense of traditional marriage during the heated battle to legalize gay so-called marriage in Ireland back in 2015. In fact, he infamously came out and said, "I have ... no wish to stuff my religious views down other people's throats." Yet men like this will sit back and let the society shove its views down the throats of their sheep.

The Irish Catholic Church has of course been rocked by its own gay scandals, including the rector of Maynooth Seminary, the national seminary for Ireland, Fr. Michael Ledwith, who led the seminary as rector for 11 years and turned out to be gay himself, according to multiple reports, and is now living in Southern California, where he has hooked up with a New Age cult and travels around giving lectures about how great it is to be gay and New Age. Then there is the non-stop trickle turning into a steady stream of reports from all over the country about gay priests, one even coming out to his congregation during a homily on Sunday, to which he received thunderous applause.

The guide for the World Meeting of Families under Martin's guidance says the following, completely distorting the words of Pope Francis: "While the Church upholds the ideal of marriage as a permanent commitment between a man and a woman, other unions exist, which provide mutual support to the couple. Pope Francis encourages us never to exclude but to accompany these couples also, with love, care and support."

Right under that section is a picture of two lesbians embracing with, of course, a rainbow flag present front and center. That is about as far from Catholic as you could get. Does Martin really think that St. Patrick, who fought homosexuality among the native Celtic warriors, would really be down with all this? Martin has even come out and said that the Church must change with the times and that the Church must find a way to affirm and support the love between homosexual couples — publicly! Nothing is hidden anymore.

Why don't all these not-so-secret-gay leaders in the Church just come out publicly and admit that they are gay, want the Church to change the teaching, and just get on with it? This is filthy, disgusting. First, the pope has never said he supports gay marriage like this implies. Martin, though, certainly doesn't seem to oppose it, and apparently huge portions of the Irish clergy seem perfectly fine with it as well.

The question must be continually asked until a sufficient answer is given: Why is there this non-stop flood of stuff all supportive of all things gay continually flowing from members of the clergy — Fr. James Martin, cardinals and archbishops supporting him, bishops and archbishops speaking up in favor of sodomy as a basis for marriage, a refusal to declare, defend and advance the Church's teaching, the awarding of honors to public figures who back gay marriage, like what happened at the last World Meeting of Families in Philadelphia with Abp. Charles Chaput?

It just never stops: various members of the hierarchy, pushing for a change in the language of the teaching of the Church, the Catechism, dropping the part about homosexuality being disordered to it being differently ordered; Fr. Thomas Rosica making sure that not only an openly gay blogger from New Ways Ministry, which is a gay Catholic outfit officially condemned by the Church, got press credentials to the last Synod on the Family in 2015 but then got to ask two questions; the late Cdl. Francis George, admitting privately that a third of the priests in Chicago are gay; the priest in Miami admitting to the press that 90 percent of the clergy there are gay.

It just goes on and on: sources in Rome saying there has never been such gay activity in the Vatican as there is now; Fr. Krzysztof Charamsa, who worked in the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith in Rome for almost a dozen years, who came out to the world at a press conference the day before the second Synod on the Family in 2015, even introducing his longtime boyfriend to the assembled media hordes; Polish priest Fr. Dariusz Oko's report in 2012, "Homoheresy," which points out the massive problem among the clergy who are actively gay.

It seems more than a little coincidental that on the one hand, we have an ocean of homosexual men in the priesthood and episcopacy, and on the other a constant push for the gay agenda in the culture. And that push comes in three forms: active, outspoken vocal support for it — the Fr. James Martins of the world; the leadership who don't directly whip out their gay pom poms but who walk right up to the line and speak in very approving terms of it, who appear at gay conferences and give supportive speeches, like Bp. John Stowe of Lexington, Kentucky, and of course other members of the hierarchy like Cdl. Joseph Tobin of Newark, New Jersey, and Cdl. Timothy Dolan of New York, with his glowing support and push for open gays marching as gays in the St. Patrick's Day parade; and the third group, the largest and in a certain sense the most dangerous — the bishops and priests who sit back and say and do nothing, just going along.

In one sense it's good all this is coming out, so to speak, so the few remaining faithful Catholics can have a very, very clear picture of the reality. And don't let people, especially priests, say things to you like "Yeah, yeah, but Voris and others are just so mean for saying all this. I mean, the tone." Such men are cowards who do not wish to tackle the problems and have made a career deflecting the truth — no matter how "holy" they might be considered.

It is not holy to let spiritual cancer spread.

  • Not Well Received

    TRANSCRIPT

Father James Martin's heretical claim that a dogmatic teaching of the Church does not have to be obeyed because it hasn't been received is flat-out evil. It's a lie. But then again, his attempts at normalization of sodomy is straight from the Father of Lies himself, so you can't really be surprised by any of this. But you should be angry with righteous anger on a number of levels — his lies, the support of his lies from various senior clergy in the hierarchy, the silence surrounding his lies from so many other clergy and bishops.

What effect do his lies have? Well, first, they discourage and depress those men and women who are dealing with same-sex attraction and living the Church's teaching. His lies make them feel any number of things from foolish for believing the teachings, to discouraged for having carried a great Cross when he and his clerical allies say it was all for nothing because it was not necessary. His lies encourage younger men and women who are just beginning to cope with all this in their lows lives to throw in the towel and not pick up their Cross before they've even begun. It impacts the family members of such people who struggle in their own right to help and encourage their loved ones or friends to live according to Christ's laws.

Instead of compassion and support, they all get ridicule from Martin and his pro-same-sex pals, who accuse them of not living integrated lives because you know to not give into your sexual lust and disorders is not being integrated. What is that — Woodstock theology, Haight-Ashbury Summer of Love philosophy? But then, again, recall where Martin is coming from — this priest who has been ordered by his superiors to keep his mouth shut about his own sexuality; he insists that God made same-sex attracted people — created them with a disorder — and it is to be celebrated and warmly embraced and received by the greater Catholic community. And the whopper we touched on at the beginning — all of this means they are free to run around and have sex whenever they want because the Church's teaching on chastity doesn't apply to them. And why pray tell doesn't it apply to them, this specially created group of men who are sexually attracted to each other? Well, simply because they don't accept it. It hasn't been received by them, so they are off the hook. Sex away, it's all good.

What else does this evil cause in the Church? As long as other bishops keep their mouths shut about all this and say nothing, the faithful come to believe there really isn't anything wrong with what Martin is saying or they come to view their bishops as untrustworthy because they won't come out and denounce heresy as bold as this. They begin to ask all kinds of questions and wonder all kinds of things. A destruction — a further destruction, following the gay priest sex abuse scandal so many of them covered up — begins to set in.

All the reports and stories and so forth about so many of them being secretly gay and afraid of being blackmailed if they open their mouths, those start to be believed or they are so poorly formed that they don't actually know heresy when they see it or they are terrified of rocking the boat, so they revert to their usual activity, which is to do nothing, stick their heads in the sand and hope it just goes away. On the last point of not wanting to rock the boat, because they don't want to tick off the Liberal Church of Nice poorly formed Catholics who write the checks for them, they better start becoming aware of the reality that those Catholics are disappearing, rapidly and so is their money.

All the growth in the Church is among Catholics who are disgusted with the inaction of the bishops toward heresy and their hostility toward tradition. It's not good business to tick off your future customer base — the very ones whom you're going to be tapping for your financial appeals. You better start to be much more concerned with rocking their boats than not rocking the boats of the aging and dying Summer of Love, hippie Catholics of the Church of Nice.

On the macro-level, this isn't even really about Fr. Martin. Smart faithful Catholics realize he is just the latest dissident flavor of the month in what has become a continued downward spiral advanced by the holding up of such men until they are no longer useful and then the next dude comes around. He will have helped move the ball down the field against a do-nothing or wink-and-nod, supportive American hierarchy, and the Church will have descended to a new lower level and then it all starts up again.

So where is Bp. Robert Barron condemning this heresy? Where is Cdl. Timothy Dolan condemning this heresy? Where is Cdl. Seán O'Malley condemning this heresy? How about Abp. Wilton Gregory, protege of Cdl. Joseph Bernardin? How about Detroit's own Abp. Allen Vigneron? Are they all afraid of suffering damage to their episcopal careers because Martin has so many supporters who wear the red of cardinals? Martin is barnstorming across the country, whipping up further rebellion against Church teaching. You don't get to stay silent, Your Excellencies. He is damaging souls who are trying to be faithful. Some of those souls are in your care. Why will you not protect the sheep? Or do you also believe that a teaching isn't really a teaching if some people don't receive it?

Be careful, because that is one very dangerous precedent.

  • Heresy and Chaos

    TRANSCRIPT

Don't know if you've caught this little sleight of hand game that Fr. James Martin and his allies are pulling but it's pretty clever. But then again, the devil is pretty clever. Martin wrote his book Building a Bridge, went through all the approvals needed and then went on his speaking tour, using the promotion of the book as his cover. When what he says in his talks is criticized, he talks about his book and says it's been approved by his superiors and has the backing of big-name Churchmen.

He says there's nothing in his book particularly contradictory to the teachings of the Church, regarding homosexuality. That's mostly true. There's not much in supporting Church teaching either. Church teaching is simply largely disregarded one way or the other. The problem isn't his book, and we here at Church Militant have never said the content of his book is particularly at issue. But we have called the book "wicked" because it provides the Trojan horse for Martin to be given a platform where he appears in front of Catholic crowds by the hundreds and that is where he does his damage against the Faith.

These talks and the response to them have created an atmosphere around Martin that then spawn interviews with him in the liberal secular media. And then those interviews become the subject of further interviews and then he does video interviews on social media, which garner attention and responses. And then he tweets about them and then other anti-Church Catholics write articles, defending him and attacking us and other faithful Catholics. And then he posts those articles on his Facebook page and so it goes. None of this is about his book. It's about the heresy he spews when using his book as the excuse. That's what we're talking about here at Church Militant as other faithful Catholics are doing.

So let's do a little recap of the priest's heresies just so we can keep this all focused. Fr. James Martin:

    • Asserts that chastity is not required of homosexuals because they haven't "received the teaching"
    • Says Catholics should reverence gay "marriage"
    • Supports transgenderism in children
    • Supports a dissident priest who promotes gay "marriage" and women "priests"
    • Calls Catholics who support Church teaching as "homophobic" and "close-minded"
    • Affirms the idea of active gays kissing at Mass
    • Claims former homosexuals don't lead a fully "integrated life"
    • Characterizes censured pro-gay nun Sr. Jeannine Gramick as worthy of sainthood
    • Publicly suggests that God created homosexuals that way
    • Publicly welcomes the esteem of pro-gay groups condemned by the Holy See
    • Publicly promotes homosexuals' ordination to the priesthood
    • Publicly supports a scholar who proclaims "Jesus is queer"
    • Publicly refers to the Holy Spirit as "She"
    • None of this is in writing in his book. He's way too clever to put it in writing. He just says it out of his mouth at every turn.

When he's challenged, he either changes the focus and says his book doesn't say any of this or he lets one of his allies in the media world attack us and others as being "haters" and then he retweets or reposts their article. But in no case does he take up the challenge of defending the heresy he spews. His allied Churchmen like Cdl. Tobin, Cdl. Cupich and others leap to his defense, regarding the book and advance the party line of Catholic cyber-militias filled with haters blah blah blah. And then others either invite him or allow him to come to their dioceses and spread his heresy — all the while talking about the book.

Clergy like Abp. Charles Chaput of Philadelphia, who wrote an article recently with feint praise for Martin and expressing admiration even and of course slamming us and others for God knows what and then the announcement last week from Fr. Martin that he's going to be speaking in a Jesuit parish in Philly right under Chaput's nose. Is Chaput going to issue a public statement or warning like he's done with us and others, saying don't go to the talk, warning of the heresy? Or is he going to take his usual tack of killing the messengers and calling us names like he did when he paid tribute to pro-death politicians in the 2015 World Meeting of Families, making them honorary chairmen?

How about it Your Excellency, what's worse, being "mean and divisive" as you word it or the preaching heresy in your archdiocese? If people can't see the heresy and ensuing chaos that comes from all of this then they are blind or they are accomplices for whatever their own personal reasons. The silence from the vast part of the hierarchy over Martin's heresy is astonishing.

Church Militant shows up at a Church of Nice conference, and there are wanted posters and security guards posted on the look-out for us. Father Martin steps into sanctuaries all over the United States to thunderous applause as he says sodomy is a gift from God and should be respected, and God made people this way and those Catholics who disagree are full of hate. Has there ever been a time in the history of the Church where this much spiritual insanity has reigned supreme? It isn't about the book. Stop pretending it is. It never has been, which is why Martin and his buddies are happy to deflect to the book.

It's not about the book. It's about the heresy and ensuing chaos. God help these men before they die.

    • More Unites Us Than Divides Us

      TRANSCRIPT

One of the things we hear with a great deal of frequency in the Church these days is the phrase in relation to Protestants: "There is more that unites us than divides us." There are so many things wrong with this approach to our "separated brethren" — the way it's played out on the ground.

First of all, it creates an environment by innuendo that there is no real need to catechize and tell people the whole truth of the matter because, well, we're practically the same after all. We have so much in common the illogic goes that we should really work together on other issues like abortion and conservative politics, and we can deal with all those small theological differences later — wrong, wrong, wrong, wrong. It is precisely because these "minor" theological differences are left to hang around that the moral and political evils advance.

Another major issue with the "more unites than divides us" approach is it is so overly general, you have no idea how to even apply it. For example, just who is the "us" referring to — Catholicism and Protestantism but that is a complete misnomer. The divisions within Protestantism are so fantastically great, there really is no way to speak of Protestants collectively. The 40,000 different branches all believe different things. That's why there are 40,000 different branches.

Some Protestants believe in baptism as a sacrament, others do not. Some Protestants believe once saved always saved, others do not. Some accept abortion and same-sex marriage and women clergy, others do not. Some accept the inerrancy of Sacred Scripture, others do not. The doctrinal differences within Protestantism itself are massive. So just who is being referenced when that statement about more uniting us than dividing us? Who is it talking about?

Catholicism has more in common with Lutherans than it does Pentecostals, but so what. It probably has more in common with Anglicans than Lutherans? But where Catholicism stands in relation to each of the 40,000 sects is a really difficult thing to pin down because, and this is the third point, just exactly how do you measure the quantity of "more in common" or "more uniting us" — based on what?

It's really difficult, actually impossible from a practical standpoint, to line up, say, 500 various teachings and begin to score how "close" we are to each other. If the thrust of the "more unites us than divides us" approach is to say that we have more in common with Protestantism than say Islam or agnosticism or atheism, well sure. That much is true. But after that, it's a crapshoot because there are no real parameters. In fact, the only parameter that defines Protestantism is that it isn't Catholicism. After that, it's a pretty tough thing to quantify. But the real danger of this notion is what we first touched on — an attitude of indifference is created among Catholics whereby all missionary zeal is essentially sucked out of the room.

Yet, this is the prevailing approach, the ruling attitude over at the Church of Nice these days. It's all about ecumenism even if it's a false ecumenism or perhaps better stated an ecumenism of indifference which says Catholics don't really need to speak to Protestants about which religion is the One True Faith because, well, there's more uniting us than dividing us. What a disastrous notion to leave unchallenged. It cannot even be proven because there's no way to quantify "more." And it can't even come close to being applied evenly across the 40,000 denominations within Protestantism because they all disagree with each other. This makes the notion false and worse yet, a false notion in support of a heresy which has the effect of causing Catholics to put down their spiritual weapons and adopt an attitude of indifference.

That's a ticket to spiritual ruin, and all you have to do is look around at the Church and see if She is not in a ruinous state. There is much, much more, that separates us from Protestantism than the average Catholic is willing to admit — and truth be told, more than even when arch-heretic Luther launched his revolt.

    • Best of Vortex—You Lose, Satan!

      TRANSCRIPT

We have arrived at last at the day which Bp. Sheen refers to as the Friday, that men call Good. This is the day where light permitted darkness to contend with it. And darkness was humiliatingly crushed.

Like a champion — a fighter who took every single blow and punch His opponent could muster, punishing blow after blow, seemingly endless pounding, relentless inflicting of pain and torture, until it was the case that the opponent, not Him, fell from exhaustion, and when His opponent had completely exhausted himself, the champion stands over him and lets ring out a cry of conquest and victory, arms stretched out and voice ringing to Heaven.

It is finished! You lose, Satan! You have done your worst, summoned every ounce of rage and hate and enmity and bitterness stored up for Me since you fell like lightning from the sky, every last measure you could conjure from your infernal pit, you have drained your very self in the conflict, and you have lost, Satan.

I am greater than you. I always knew, and so did you, but now the whole world knows as well, all of creation. Those once under your reign are now free to escape you because I am the way, the way away from you. You lose, Satan! From the power of death brought about by you, and now ripped apart by Me. O Death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? I have walked through death and trampled it. You lose, Satan.

This cry of victory is completely evident, in full view for the human eye and intellect to behold, present on the Shroud of Turin, the burial cloth of Our Blessed Lord in the tomb. Consider what the Shroud tells us, what we know from it. We see the agony but at the same time the glory. There is no separation of the two; pain and victory are wedded together in this fallen earthly life. And pain and ultimate victory are what is imprinted on the Shroud.

Consider the Shroud. Recent scientific discoveries have now detected the spear wound, and the Shroud of Oviedo, the cloth that science tells us was placed over His head on the Cross after He died, both confirm the spear being driven into His heart.

And driven in so precisely as well as violently that the blade passed perfectly between ribs without even nicking them. And the fluid in the sack around the heart was forced up into Our Lord's head and face and came out through His mouth and nostrils and onto the head Shroud. The Shroud is a tangible record of the suffering of the Cross. Pain is always measurable.

Science can always tell us about pain and suffering because in this life, they belong to the material order. But there is the other, more important record contained in the fibers of the Shroud that science must stand back from, completely dumbfounded. It is the image of the man buried in the Shroud that is on the Shroud. How did it get there? This is the flip side of pain— victory — and victory is not measurable or quantifiable because victory is eternal, everlasting.

Pain belongs to to the world. Victory belongs to God, and Our Blessed Lord, wishing to help us understand the inseparable nature of both pain and conquest, left us a physical record of His agony and His victory: His Resurrection. And they are both right there on the same 14-foot piece of cloth, His blood mixed with His glory.

Science cannot explain the image but it can measure its intensity — 34 trillion watts of light. That's five times greater than any man-made machine is capable of producing even now in the 21st century.

God is light, unapproachable light, and for those who rise with Him after their own victory, there will be no more tears or death, and they will dwell in this unapproachable light in rapt and utter joy. And the demon will never approach them again, because they will dwell where he can never go.

Satan, you lose. Christ Jesus Victor. Christ Jesus Ruler. Christ Jesus, Lord and Redeemer.

    • Best of Vortex—Ten Years to Go and ...

      TRANSCRIPT

Church leaders are either delusional or deliberately obtuse. The Church in America is in crisis, deep, deep crisis. The bottom is in the process of completely falling out, and the can is being kicked down the road, which isn't a bad plan if you are a bishop or cardinal in the United States who is completely overwhelmed by the catastrophe you helped to create and now can find no way to solve.

Given all the current trends — and there is not one ounce of reason to believe that these trends will stop or reverse — the Church in America will effectively cease to exist in any meaningful manner in roughly the next 10 years, which of course will be just fine with most of the current hierarchy because they will have retired by then.

If you mark the visible starting point of the meltdown back to 1968 and move forward just four generations, measured in 15-year increments, 2028 is the year the Church will effectively cease to exist in the United States. That's essentially just 10 years from now.

Four generations is what every historian — and social scientist and sociologist — says is what's needed to pass for a cultural identity to be lost, and for almost four generations now, Catholic identity has been assailed by forces from within the Church. Consider that it is now people in their mid to late 60s, even touching 70, who believe and accept Church teaching in any meaningful manner, at least compared to the generations younger than them. They are the ones who most frequently attend Mass, put money in the plate, support the Church. And by the time 2028 rolls around in 10 years, most will be dead or infirm.

The last vestiges of the faithful are now beginning to die, and with them the Faith itself in America. There are simply nowhere near the necessary number of youngsters to replace them. In the next 10 years, literally millions of people would need to come into the Church, and as actual, authentic believers, just to compensate for the drop-off that's now beginning to occur. There is an earthquake just beginning to be felt in all its fullness, and leaders are oblivious or don't care, or in the case of wicked prelates, want it to happen.

One reason the Hispanic population is growing so fast in the Church is because the non-Hispanic Catholics have left, so by proportion it looks like something noteworthy is occurring. But what is really occurring is that European-descent Catholics are abandoning the Faith in staggering numbers. But that trend is beginning to be realized among Hispanic Catholics, not quite as fast, but it's accelerating — one survey suggesting that half of all Hispanic Catholics leave the Faith within one generation.

Catholic marriages are down, way down, in the last four generations, approaching a 70-percent decline. No Catholic marriages, no Catholic families; no Catholic families, and it's Good night, Irene, because Catholic families produce children and vocations and populate schools and parishes and every other Catholic institution. But the bishops' refusal to condemn contraception in prophetic terms with zeal and boldness and choose instead to create a straw-man theology where the Church attacks social injustice and "sinful structures" has brought the Church in the United States to ruin.

The seminaries are pumping out innocent yet naïve and poorly formed baby priests who have no real conceptual notion of the crisis the Church is in. They are seldom told to correct the abuses in the parishes they will be sent to. They are told quite the opposite, in fact, with some insiders right here in Detroit's Sacred Heart Seminary, for example, telling us that they are specifically told that when they get ordained, do not say things from the pulpit that will upset the congregations. "Do not rock the boat," is how it was put to us.

Ten years to go. That's all. The institution will be able to drag itself along for a while longer because there is a lot of money in property and investments and banks. But with no people in the pews to speak of, those reserves will be burned up at an increasing rate. "For sale" signs will be increasingly more visible. More property will be sold off as the current leadership continues to manage the decline, all the while telling themselves that their "encounter" theology and "going out to the margins" ecclesiology will save the day with their LifeTeen silliness and Protestant, emotion-laden, sappy evangelization nonsense. It won't, and all you need to do is look at how ineffective it's been for the past almost four generations.

Ten years to go. Tick tock, tick tock. And great was the fall of the House of American Catholicism. When it has finally collapsed, as it must, you faithful Catholics, clergy and laity, will be the few who will rebuild. Do not lose heart. You will have no opposition because your opponents will have all committed spiritual suicide. It will fall to you to clear away the rubble and rebuild and start the clock moving ahead instead of counting down.

Just stay faithful. The war of attrition is well underway.

    • The Heart of the Problem

      TRANSCRIPT

Well, here it is — the 500th anniversary of Martin Luther's actions which set in motion the ripping apart of Christianity. Satan could not have been more pleased and to bring it about at the hands of a priest was icing on the cake for the demon.

When we began this apostolate going on 12 years ago, we had an emphasis on combating Protestantism. Protestantism is a heresy in that, ultimately, it denies the authority of the Church. From that denial, all manner of other evils falls out. But as we matured here in our work over the years, the scales began to fall from our eyes, as we saw that what really needed emphasizing in our work was not Protestantism per se, but the protestantization that had taken place in the Church.

The heresy of Protestantism has come into the Church through a thousand different paths and has taken up such a position of importance that enormous numbers of baptized Catholics are actually little else than warmed over Episcopalians. The dominant attitude of the Protestant heresy — rejection of authority — now reigns supreme in vast swaths of the Church, even among many clergy and members of the hierarchy.

Majorities of Catholics reject the uniqueness and superiority of the Catholic Church, some or most of Her sacraments, Her devotions, Her commands, Her morality, Her teachings, Her Scriptures and Her priesthood. Her devotional life is rejected or ignored by most of Her children — no Rosary, no saints, no private prayers for souls in purgatory. In short, the majority of baptized Catholics have become Protestant. It took Luther's work 500 years to be accomplished, but it is pretty much done. And yes, the Holy Sacrifice has taken on the flavor of a Protestant service in many respects.

Even less sacred aspects of what we might call Church life are also deeply impacted like Her place in a society, Her right to express Her teachings, the degree of seriousness with which Her teachings are taken. There has been a great destruction of virtually everything Catholic for the past 500 years. This has become overwhelmingly evident and simply undeniable. The world is becoming pagan once again, thanks to Protestantism which has no sustainability of its own.

It now falls to the few remaining committed Catholics to be faithful and commit to the idea of turning this whole thing around. None of us alive right now will be witness to a great restoration, just as Luther never was witness to the broad-based destruction he set in motion which we live in today. But this has never been about what we will see while we are on this earth.

It's always been about what Heaven desires. And Catholics, faithful committed Catholics alone, know the answer to that. So, on this 500th anniversary in response to Luther's spiritually suicidal Sola Scriptura, let our response be: Sola Fide Catholica!

      TRANSCRIPT

Tomorrow, of course, is the 500th anniversary of arch-heretic, Catholic priest Martin Luther's revolt against the One True Church, which many Protestants are celebrating and all Catholics everywhere should be mourning. Unfortunately, not all Catholics are mourning. In fact, some are happy to celebrate the fact of the rending of Christianity.

In the continuing effort to pretend all that matters between Protestants and Catholics is what we have in common, many clerics, including bishops, keep refusing to talk about the essential differences. This is beyond uncharitable because people have a right to the Truth. Just as a patient has a right to hear the truthful diagnosis from his doctor, a soul has a right to hear the Truth about their potential spiritual condition.

Here's the bottom line. A soul who does not have access to the sacraments of the Church has a much more difficult time attaining salvation generally speaking. Salvation is only possible through the Catholic Church. There is no other way to be saved other than through the Catholic Church. Jesus Christ did not establish multiple churches. He established one Church and one Church alone whether non-Catholics understand or accept that truth or not.

A person, for example, who is one of the 40,000 denominations of Protestantism who ends up saved is not saved because of being Protestant but in spite of it. Yet, as we peruse the landscape of Protestantism today on the eve of its 500th anniversary, we see nothing but chaos among the various sects. And since Martin Luther is the one who jump-started the whole scene, it's not a bad place to begin to understand the chaos.

Luther eventually came to reject, re-fashion or re-interpret almost every teaching of the Church. And having done so, what he actually did was reject the authority of the Catholic Church. That created the problem of where does the final authority lie? After his rampage through the sacred, the only thing left for Luther to appeal to was Sacred Scripture and hence the Latin phrase, Sola Scriptura, Scripture alone.

So, Luther placed the Bible over every other thing, elevating it to almost the same level as God. Interestingly, however, he also could not keep his destructive hands off it either. He completely threw out seven books of the Old Testament, as well as parts of two other books. He was going to rip apart the New Testament, as well, ripping out Revelation and the Epistle of St. James but even his own followers told him that was a bridge too far.

However, in his original German translation, he did add the word "alone" to St. Paul's letter to the Romans to say that man is justified by faith alone, thereby completely contradicting St. James who explicitly says we are not saved by faith alone. But all of this is said to simply point out that since Protestantism bases itself on Scripture and Scripture alone for that point, it is well worth understanding where the Scriptures came from.

That's why Church Militant and St. Michael's Media produced our kit on this — Where Did The Bible Come From? It's a 3-DVD set, complete with the second edition of a book with more details and history on this pressing and relevant questions, as well as an updated timeline showing the progress — writing, compiling, canonizing, translations and production of the Scriptures relative to other events in world history. It's available by just clicking on the link.

And here are some salient points to consider for Catholics who did not know much of this or for any Protestants who are in a religion of the Book. First, Jesus never instructed his followers to write anything down. Second, aside from writing in the sand something which we don't know for certain what he wrote, Jesus never wrote anything down that we know of. Third, not one book in the Bible claims of itself to be inspired by God. Fourth, nowhere in Scripture is a list provided of what books should be in the Bible. Fifth, the Bible is not self-interpreting which means someone outside the Bible, a separate authority, must interpret it.

Those are just some of the points covered in our WDTBCF? Series, and they are honest questions and topics that need to be asked and understood. Just where did the Bible come from? The answer to that question is more important than what this passage or that passage says. Protestants, as well as poorly formed Catholics, cannot look to just a book for questions about eternal life when they have no idea where that book comes from and how we know it's inspired. The Bible doesn't say where it comes from nor does it claim to be inspired. So before people start making those claims, perhaps they need to explore those topics. That's why we produced this splendid series — so you can better understand this most important topic. Again, please feel free to just click on the link and order yours today.

    • As Usual, the Church Was Right

      TRANSCRIPT

When a person correctly understands the essential nature of who the Church is — as opposed to constantly misunderstanding her essential nature, even by many bishops and clerics — then the phrase "the Church was right again" should never come as a surprise. First, briefly: The Catholic Church is the Bride of Christ, She for Whom He sacrificed His life.

The sacrament of marriage is a reflection of the relation between Christ and His Bride, so when the author of that sacrament says a man clings to his wife and the two become one flesh, Our Blessed Lord has laid out the nature of what the Church is — She is Him, here on earth, one flesh, inseparable, one in the same. Now that we have that spelled out, then, of course, the Church is right again, as She is always right because when She speaks, She speaks for her Divine Spouse Himself. This is why She is preserved from error because error cannot exist within Our Lord.

So when we look at the problems in the world and the Church speaking out against those wrongs, we have access to divine guidance on what to do. And Almighty God tells us what we should do and not do with our best interest at heart. For example, the Church has always counseled and taught against birth control, especially in our own day with Bl. Pope Paul VI's encyclical Humanae Vitae declaring that birth control would be the ruination of the family and result in the objectifying women.

That was almost 50 years ago, right in time for the Sexual Revolution — the same Sexual Revolution that so many, many clerics simply rolled over in the face of and sacrificed their sheep for. One of the major effects of the Sexual Revolution was increased sex and decreased children. And now, the chickens are coming home to roost here in the United States. It's already happened in various parts of the world, as the United Nations has reported on for nearly 10 years, but now the declining birth rate is being felt here in the United States as U.S. Speaker of the House Paul Ryan pointed out last week.

The United States is currently experiencing its lowest birth rate ever! And when the final numbers are in for 2017, it may be even lower — thank you, contraception and the accompanying contraceptive mentality. Birth control has had the effect of completely shifting American demographics to set us up for economic failure. It doesn't take a social scientist to figure out if you have fewer babies, you're going to pay an economic price down the road, and we are well on the way to being near the end of that road. Blessed Pope Paul VI didn't list out every problem that would go wrong if contraception became commonplace — contraception, by the way, that was introduced into the minds of Christians by errant Protestant thought but given fuel by cowardly Catholic bishops who didn't want to upset their congregations by preaching Catholic truth.

Sometimes when you do something wrong, you pay the price immediately. Other times, it takes a while for the consequences to come around. Generally speaking, the longer it takes for the consequences to come around, the bigger they are. As usual and in a certain sense, unfortunately, the Church was right again. When will mankind learn the Catholic Church is Christ on earth and when She preaches, you need to listen? When She is ignored, individual lives are ruined, communities pay a collective price, nations collapse, and souls are damned.

Choose life that you may live.

    • No End to It ...

      TRANSCRIPT

You probably never heard of Fr. Gregory Greiten, pastor of St. Bernadette parish in the archdiocese of Milwaukee that is, perhaps, until this past week, when the 52-year-old priest published an article in the dissident rag known as the National Catholic Reporter. Greiten goes through the usual presentation of so many men who struggled through the confusion and anxieties of realizing that for some psychological reason, they had to face the reality that they were sexually attracted to other men.

This reality of males who self-identify as "gay" has plagued the priesthood in the United States for going on 50 years now. As an aside, the flamboyant homosexualist Fr. James Martin nearly had to be hospitalized for apoplexy — so fast was he retweeting fellow priest Greiten's story of coming out. Of course, he was. Funny though, Fr. Martin himself still refuses to come out or acknowledge if he could come out, blaming his superiors for his not being able to freely discuss his own sexuality but back to Greiten or rather the larger implications.

He was ordained for Milwaukee back in 1992 when homosexual Abp. Rembert Weakland was shuffling around gay priests who had raped altar boys and was himself having an affair with a college student to whom he paid nearly $500,000 in blackmail money from the archdiocesan coffers. Back then, all the gay stuff — overwhelmingly prevalent as it was — had to be kept very hush-hush, even among the bishops. We spoke with at least one bishop privately who told us every bishop back then knew Weakland was homosexual, as well as acting on it.

No way could an archbishop be carrying on an active gay affair and word not get out among the clergy, which it did, of course. Suffice to say, no one in the hierarchy, many of them homosexual or homosexualist themselves, was the least bit surprised at the outing of Weakland. That he had raided archdiocesan funds to the tune of $450,000 to cover it up — that caught some a little off guard but just some and just a little.

Too bad for Weakland that he hadn't been carrying on these days where gay activity and the embracing of all things sodomy is now warmly embraced by so many bishops and priests. Heck, being sexually aroused by other men is even openly spoken of as being a gift from God — that He made you that way and the rest of the Church is just going to have to get over themselves.

God's love embraces everything and everyone, even sin. How positively medieval for those few remaining hold-out Catholics to believe in chastity. Absurd! My gosh, it's the 21st century! C'mon, get with it. If you don't think that's the attitude sweeping through the ranks of America's bishops these days, think again.

Here was the official response from Greiten's archbishop, Jerome Listecki, who occupies the same office that Weakland once did: "We support Fr. Greiten in his own personal journey and telling his story of coming to understand and live with his sexual orientation. ... As the Church teaches, those with same-sex attraction must be treated with understanding and compassion." Yes, too bad for Weakland, he only missed by about 20 years or so.

The wholesale sellout to the gay agenda among so many Catholic clergy, including bishops, can only mean one thing — the same thing that Greiten pointed to in his coming-out article — that anywhere from a quarter to over half of all Catholic priests in the United States, including bishops, are gay. Boy, they hate all this being talked about, but that's the reality, and it's too bad for them. They have allowed this rot to completely overcome the Church — something Church Militant has been pointing to and being hammered for saying for years now.

Bishops, the few straight ones of you who are left, listen very carefully: Men who are sexually attracted to other men are not capable of being fathers. They see the entire world through their pain, as understandable as that pain may be. But that does not excuse the reality that they should not be priests. And committed Catholics really need to hit pause and realize the tidal wave of sodomy and/or all the associated ills that accompany it that have swamped the Church. It is being led —led — by males whose primary interest is not the salvation of souls but the working out of their own psychological disturbances dressed up as being somehow spiritual.

These bishops and pastors are spiritualizing their own pain of being raped or molested as boys, emotionally abandoned by negligent fathers, rejected by their male peers in childhood, and they will stop at nothing until you affirm them in their pain and tell them that they are worth something, that they are not worthless and that they can have sex with other men as a means to escape that pain. That is the whole game going on.

The reality of this situation which bishops understand very well is why Listecki could respond the way he did. It's why Detroit Abp. Allen Vigneron, who is very familiar with the homosexual mafia in Detroit, has never lifted a finger to put a stop to the world's longest-running gay Mass, right in the heart of his own diocese. It's why Cdl. Timothy Dolan continues to turn a blind eye and even lie about the homosexual clique that runs his archdiocese.

It's why no bishop ever says anything about Lexington, Kentucky, Bp. John Stowe warmly embracing the whole gay agenda. It's why Cdl. Joseph Tobin of Newark, New Jersey, and Chicago Cdl. Blase Cupich can be so in your face about supporting all things gay. For James Martin to tweet that Fr. Greiten is a pioneer is laughable. You know darn good and well that every priest and official at the chancery already knew about Greiten being gay.

Heck, he even met with Abp. Listecki beforehand. Why didn't the archbishop forbid him under obedience from coming out? The idea that these males are somehow heroic is beyond absurd. How can it be courageous to come out to a group of peers and superiors about being gay when most of them are gay?

The smart money is on seeing a lot more of this come out because sadly there's a lot more of them to come out. They've worked 50 years to normalize this in the Church. They've succeeded. And for all you folks out there who accuse Church Militant of being negative and exaggerating the situation, told you so.

Now, are you still going to waste energy killing the messenger or are you going to join in the fight?
