When Donald Trump ran for president, he positioned himself as a no-nonsense businessman who said there was too much Washington in Washington and what was needed was a clear-minded, business-like approach to bring back jobs, jumpstart the economy and make America great again. After months of a fake-news, Russia-collusion narrative and a host of other phony baloney — no evidence, anonymously sourced stories that the mainstream media has had to constantly backpedal on and retract — what do we see when we step back and take a look at America one year into a Trump administration? How about lower taxes, less burdensome regulations, fewer criminal aliens, an American hegemony and annual GDP growth of more than 3 percent which Obama sycophants said could never be the case again, the annihilation of ISIS, practically daily record stock market highs, less crime, more jobs and less unemployment, a reduction in the massive waste the United States formerly gave to the United Nations, the end of ObamaCare tax penalties and a reinvigorated America nationally and internationally? What a horrible first year, right?

To hear the Left talk, and they do a lot of talking, you'd think all of that was exactly opposite, and in their twisted non-reality virtual world, reality is often the opposite, hence fake news. And let's be certain here whom we are talking about exactly — the liberal elite media, their Democratic Party allies and what can be generally termed the Left, political and theological. Why is it that in the face of such overwhelming success in the economy and foreign affairs that the Left reacts as though we just lost the Vietnam War? Imagine if Obama had achieved all this, which he couldn't do in eight years, in his first year? Holy Cow, they would have crowned him God, more than they did during his two losing terms. So why do they decry, moan, scream, stomp their feet and make up stories to destroy him? One simple reason — because the Left hates God.  

They hate God because there is a morality — specifically a sexual morality — that comes along with God and religion, at least traditional faiths, specifically orthodox Christianity. Trump, whether conscious of it or not, has melded "Making America Great Again" with making "America Christian Again." That's why he got a standing ovation when he walked into church on Christmas Eve. When Trump acknowledged Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at the annual national Christmas tree lighting, the Left lost what's left of their minds. And not just Christian but specifically morally Christian.

Nowhere is this more quietly visible than in his judicial appointments. Quietly, almost invisibly, he is remaking the federal judiciary, and this is resulting in the confirmation of various judges who understand that there is a religious dimension to the United States that cannot and should not be infringed on. It has been the case, time and time again, that the more constitutionally conservative a judge is, also the more religiously conservative he or she is. The mere example of Neil Gorsuch being placed on the Supreme Court is an indication of things to come.

And at the heart of the Left's hatred of God is the sexual morality that comes along with it. And at the heart of that sexual morality they hate is the threatened loss of their most treasured loved and prized defining thing — the right to slaughter the unwanted child in the womb almost always conceived during immoral sex. Make no mistake, this and this reason alone, is why the Left wants Trump destroyed.

So anything — anything — that can be used to destroy him, will and is being employed. Trump must go — be impeached, assassinated, disgraced, charged, violently protested against, whatever, so he can be removed from office and the High Court be preserved as a last defense for the multi-billion dollar abortion industry and all the Lefties who want to have consequence-free sex. The Left hates God because it loves immoral sex and the guilty consciences of all those tens of millions of people will join together and support any kind of sexual activity — sodomy, cohabitation, adultery, fornication, pornography, you name it. All of it must be preserved for self-serving reasons which means Trump must go.

It's all about sex, and more to the point, it's all about abortion, the very issue that all, every single issue in politics in the United States has swirled around for the past 40-plus years. And now that the next court nominee which could come this year, perhaps even more than one nominee, is quickly approaching, the Left is going bananas.

Every single ethical standard that exists has been completely abandoned, fairness and objectivity in journalism, not to mention accuracy, lying under oath, leaking information from the highest offices, slanted and biased government investigations — every single bit of it rationalized as acceptable to get rid of Trump.

Buckle in and stay plugged in especially to Church Militant. This is going to be one wild year.

When Pope Francis said the Church is like a field hospital, it was an apology that liberals and dissidents in the Church ran wild with, using it as an excuse to say those rigid, hard teachings never had to be talked about. They're just a bunch of rules and doctrines that modern man has no real need for. The Church of Nice ran at breakneck speed to embrace the pope's mantra which it happily turned into a pile of nonsense about Holy Communion for all and gay sex for anyone.

What the Church of Nice has completely missed with the analogy is that hospitals are not for staying in. They are places you go to get better, not move into and pitch your tent. Getting better is hard work. My dad, for example, is in rehab right now after almost three weeks in the hospital fighting a bad case of pneumonia. Getting physically well is hard work. You've got to work at it — do all kinds of things you don't want to do. You've got to get poked and stuck and bothered at all hours and have blood sucked out of you and fresh blood pumped into you. You can't eat when you want to and have to eat when you don't want to. Things happen not at your speed but at the speed the staff is able to get to it. You need help doing the most basic private things and feel like your dignity is completely taken away. Such is the nature of getting better physically.

Likewise, spiritual healing is usually not a pleasant process. In fact, it's quite often downright difficult. You have to look in the mirror and realize who you really are down deep — a miserable sinner incapable of helping yourself who needs the Divine Physician to heal you. We all have a killer disease and without being in the hospital the diagnosis is death — period. And in that hospital, it's hard work, really hard work. Years of spiritual wounds and psychological scar tissue and pain of built-up resentments covered over with pustules of the infection of guilt always oozing with insufficient antibodies to ever be restored to full health.

Everyone without exception requires a stay in this hospital — some longer stays than others, some much more intense procedures to undergo, but no one gets better without a protracted stay in Catholic General. And here's the issue: The Church of Nice, with its overarching non-stop emphasis on your feelings, is staffed with incompetents and nincompoops who actually kill people in their wards. They don't get souls better. They stick them on a psychological-spiritual morphine drip, and it is a slow death where the hard work is never done because their sin is excused and deflected from, and excuses are made up until they become so anesthetized that they just accept their fate as the will of God — that God made them that way, and they are content. And "that way" means not just gay but also living in adultery or cohabiting or thinking that all religions are the same, and everyone goes to Heaven and adherence to the commandments is optional or passé. There is never the challenge offered to heal. There is never a diagnosis offered beyond "things are okay, God understands." And consequently, there is never any true spiritual healing, painful as it is, that occurs.

The reality of spiritual disease is never uncovered, never treated, and the infection remains, festering, preventing a true union with God, which is ironic since this is the same crowd that never shuts their mouths about "an encounter with Jesus." But they hold out a false encounter with a fake Jesus much like a quack doctor never cures anything. Their spiritual placebos make them numb and keep them dumb. And then when it's time to pull the sheet over their dead carcass, the hospital chaplain arrives on the scene for the funeral assuring all the loved ones that the dead person is in Heaven. These "practitioners" will one day get called into the CEO's office and be required to give an accounting for all the patients who died on their watch.

The morphine drip has got to get unplugged and people made to face the reality of their diagnosis.

2018 is already shaping up to be "The Year of the Gay" in the Church, and we are barely a few hours into it. From that horrific so-called Nativity display in St. Peter's Square, complete with a practically naked, buffed-up so-called homeless guy and various other "gay-themed" displays woven throughout it, to the coming out in Mass during his homily a couple weeks ago of Milwaukee archdiocesan priest Fr. Gregory Greiten greeted with a standing ovation from the parishioners and the fawning public approval of his archbishop Jerome Listecki - -

to the news reports that the man many consider the second most powerful man in Rome - Cardinal Maradiaga - has been protecting a close bishop back in Honduras who has embezzled huge sums of money to keep up his flamboyant and extravagant gay lifestyle - -

not to mention the constant gay drum being pounded non-stop in the background by Fr. James Martin - yep 2018 sure feels like the year that the gay mafia is gonna’ hit the motherlode in the Church.

Still think there’s not a homosexual clergy problem in the Church?

And now - so open and so bold has the homomafia in the Church become that they can openly refute not just Church teaching in the realm of sexual morality - but ANY teaching they can use to promote their evil.

Latest example - Arthur Fitzmaurice - one of the leading lights of the extremely effeminate feminized clique in the Church.

This man has been allowed to say anything he wants at Catholic events that flat-out deny Church teaching.

He has been a regular invitee at the abominable Los Angeles archdiocesan Religious Education Congress - also known as REC.

Last year at the REC - he sponsored a talk on how the Church needs to accept and welcome transgenderism - you know - the mental illness where you convince yourself you are the opposite sex.

He did so the previous year as well - all with the approval of Archbishop Jose Gomez - who is much more interested in immigration reform than perverted doctrine flowing from the stage at his conference.

Well - look at what Fitzmaurice tweeted out about Our Blessed Mother on December 8 - the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception :

Jesus immersed Himself among the sinful. God is bigger than sin! With due respect to those who choose to believe in human doctrines not taught by Jesus, we don’t need to believe that Mary was sinless in order to believe Jesus was not conquered by sin #ImmaculateConception #Advent

The Archdiocese of Los Angeles also included his tweet on its own website in the part reserved for gay stuff.

The whole gay thing going on in the Church - from approval by bishops, to the swarm of gay priests infesting parishes and schools, to the speakers’ circuit populated by professional perverts - the whole thing is aimed at destroying - destroying the Church because it stands there like a rock condemning their consciences which are filled with rage.

They will stop at nothing to destroy - from raping altar boys to perverting doctrine to covering up for one another to theft and embezzlement to promoting each other to keep the attacks going - absolutely nothing is off limits to this crowd.

And all the while - Church leaders are at least silent and complicit at worst.

Consider how many billions of dollars you have put in the plate that have been used to pay for this perversion - and not just the homosexual clergy sex abuse payouts - but the salaries to keep these men in place, the expensive tuition bills and travel for their bishops to send them to Rome to get a fancy degree so they can come back and give an intellectual spin to their perversion of the Faith.

The Church needs to be purged of this evil - and those men who allow it to continue will pay with their souls in the fires of hell for eternity.

Right now - given the emasculation of the culture - there are huge numbers of young men who are confused about their sexual identity - they don’t know what it means to be a man - and they are being exposed to these perverts in collars and miters who are preying on them - setting them up to ensnare them in their own evil.

That the bishops would be going on non-stop about Trump and the DACA program while this sinister business is taking place right in their own parishes, at their own conferences, heck - on their own websites will not go well for them at their judgments.

Lay people are gonna have to be the ones to call this out and demand change - and withhold your money which helps fuel this gay juggernaut.

After all - it’s your young men that this whole movement wants - your sons and grandsons.

It wants them not only for sex, but also to accept and welcome homosexuality as something perfectly fine - it wants their intellects deadened against it so all manner of evil can be accepted as well.

It’s been subtle - sort of - up to now. But wait for the lid to blow off all this in 2018.

The leadership of the Church in America is unable to respond because too much of the leadership is either threatened by this homomafia - or are actually gay themselves.

And if you think the gay mafia which runs the Vatican right now is gonna’ be of any help - well just remember the so-called Nativity scene - where the Holy Family was almost an afterthought.

When it gets down to the nitty gritty details of the Faith, you can bet on the Church of Nice crowd to fall absolutely silent. Their pathetic "reasonable hope all men are saved" argument falls totally flat when compared with authentic Catholicism.

That spiritual insanity fails to properly comprehend the truths of God, Hell, sin, and free will, as well as some other Catholic truths. They simply do not want to admit the supernatural realities, the stakes that are being played for in the spiritual warfare that all the saints spoke so eloquently and magnificently about.

When God said to the serpent, "I will put enmity between you and the Woman, between your offspring and hers," just who exactly does the Church of Nice think God was referring to when He spoke of the offspring of Satan? They don't even consider this question. That's what happens when you dismiss Hell as just "a real possibility."

The problem is that for them, the possibility of someone going to Hell is so miniscule, so "can’t happen in a million years," that it can be easily dismissed in their catechesis and evangelization efforts. For the record, Our Blessed Lord did not dismiss it so easily. So let's look at an authentic understanding and consider the reality that Church of Nicers don't want to.

Every soul who is damned was, while on earth, someone's husband, mother, wife, son, uncle or grandson — someone. They had relationships with all kinds of people, people for whom they had an earthly love and affection and who loved and cared for them in return. That's part of human nature, even fallen human nature.

But what happens to those bonds when a person is damned? Let's take the adult son who dies in mortal sin owing to his sins of the flesh, whatever variety they might be — adultery, fornication, cohabitation, homosexuality, promiscuity, masturbation, lust and so forth. Those ties with whom he loved and cared for here on earth are immediately and eternally broken and turn into everlasting hatred for those people.

He is now confirmed forever as a "son of Satan," so to speak, a slave to the diabolical. He now is incapable of anything but authentic hate, a hate so deep that there is actually a different word for it: enmity. Enmity carries with it the understanding of not just hatred, but bearing ill will toward others, wishing for their demise, odium, loathing. This becomes for the damned the sentiment toward everything and everyone. They have willfully cut themselves off from everlasting life by their rejection of Christ in this life.

So in the next, they become completely the offspring of Satan, not biologically, of course, but even more powerfully, in spirit. God said He would put enmity between Satan and the Woman and between their two families of offspring. The damned hate God, they hate the Blessed Virgin Mary, and they hate their own earthly family and friends, most especially those who are in Heaven.

So if our sample sexually perverse son is damned and his mother is saved, he will hate her, and there will never be any going back from it because his reality is sealed forever at the point of death. He will have an everlasting loathing for her, no matter what his feelings may have been for her in this life. Our Blessed Lord made quick work of any appeal to earthly family when it stood in the way of salvation.

He said He came to bring the sword, that families would war with each other over him, that no one is saved based on his DNA or familial relationships, despite the Jewish leaders appealing to Abraham as their father. Our Lord rightfully pointed out that their father was the devil. Notice the use of the word "father."

Earthly relationships are not heavenly relationships. Even marriage, no matter how life-giving and spiritually beneficial it may have been in this life, comes to an end at the point of death. Our family in Heaven will be those with whom we are brothers and sisters in Christ, not those whom we might have shared biological DNA with on earth. Spiritual DNA will be the tie that binds.

And what of the relationship between the mother in Heaven and her son in Hell? It is almost impossible for us to wrap our heads around this, but she will not be mourning him or feel the slightest degree of sadness or longing for him. His father will be the devil, and her father will be God — and it will be as such for life everlasting.

In fact, various Doctors of the Church pointed out that the punishment meted out to her former son will be seen by her and rejoiced over by her as a manifestation of the justice of God. When the great thunderous cheer of final victory goes up on the Last Day from the elect as they are ascending to Heaven and the damned are falling into Hell, of course there will be many, many people on opposite sides who knew each other in this life and were even related. The cheer will resound from the saved, and one dynamic of that cheer will be that the damned are manifesting the justice of Almighty God. 

This kind of stuff must be talked about because this is the final, ultimate reality. There will be a Last Day, a final accounting, and the reward and punishment of everlasting life or death. It is terrifying to think that someone we may have loved here on earth we will view entirely differently in the blinding light of the illumination of God. We will no longer see them as son or mother or daughter. We will see them as God sees them — as a human who has the devil as their father — and the saved will be perfectly conformed to Almighty God and will see them in the same light. The damned will be forgotten forever by the saved. Except for being a manifestation of God’s justice, they will have no regard for them.

This is how evangelization and catechesis needs to be done — the whole blinding, terrifying, glorious truth — so that we can be correctly motivated by the truth, not by our emotions. The goal is to save souls, not feel good about ourselves and experience an emotional high.

The birth control pill, since being approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration, has become the weapon of choice against conception. Among American women who use contraceptives, 28 percent use the Pill — the single most popular form. And when you drill down into the numbers, American Catholic women — they use the Pill at just about the same rate as their non-Catholic counterparts.

The Pill has become a part of the American and Western world landscape, all in an effort to simply have sexual license and consequence-free sex. And thanks to Obamacare, the pill now has an enshrined place in law. Employers must provide the Pill for their employees through company health insurance plans or face fines and penalties.

The only exceptions to this are religious employers, but exactly who qualifies for that limited definition of "religious" is what the U.S. Supreme Court will be hearing arguments on and deciding in a short while.

What is known is that the Pill comes with all kinds of hidden dangers and side-effects, and no one really wants to talk about them.

We know it's death-dealing spiritually. We know that it's death-dealing biologically for the unborn — not just preventing conception, but also causing the newly conceived to actually be killed. Estimations are that the 60 million deaths in the United States caused by surgical abortion since 1973 pale in comparison to the deaths brought about by the birth control pill.

Moreover, women themselves are in lethal danger, however limited that may be. The question which logically arises is: Is a life of sexual license really worth your life? Unfortunately, we know that for many "liberated" women, the answer is yes, it is.

But what is perhaps most shocking in all this is the silence of the bishops on this matter of the birth control pill. For a gang of men who are constantly going on about the need to avert the dangers of fake, manmade climate change to simply fall silent on the very real deaths of tens of millions of small humans owing to the birth control pill has no explanation.

They will not support Church teaching on contraception, certainly not enough to voice their support for it and declare the evils – spiritual and physical — of the birth control pill is contributing to that evil. What is most frightening for the souls of the bishops who have made a career of keeping silent in the face of evil is the peril their own souls are in.

Their job is to teach, and through that teaching sanctify their sheep so that their souls can be saved. Short of doing their job, they are on the path to eternal damnation. But a bishop's being damned — what a horrible thought — is nothing new. We have Judas as the first example; but we even have St. John Chrysostom warning that bishops not doing their job is their eternal undoing.

Why do the bishops not do what they are supposed to do? Where is their fear of God? Their silence imperils the souls of tens of millions — and it absolutely falls to them to witness to the truths of the Church. 

Contraception, the birth control pill — that little pill — who but the diabolical could imagine that that would be the undoing of so many bishops and the cause of their damnation?

The deadliness of the Pill is the subject of this week's "Mic'd Up" that you can view by clicking the link. The birth control pill is the reason hundreds of parishes have and continue to be closed. It's the reason vocations have dried up. The Pill has all but killed the Faith in the West, exactly as its inventors had hoped and planned. The Pill has brought nothing but death, and the guardians of life have refused to attack it — and their silence will bring them death in their turn.

A couple of years ago, while he was president of the U.S. Conference of Catholic bishops, Cdl. Timothy Dolan was being interviewed by NBC and made the astonishing claim that, at the time, he had been a priest for 37 years and had almost never preached on the evil of contraception.

In a separate interview around the same time, again as leader of the U.S. bishops and speaking for them and himself, he said they had all grown "gun shy" about teaching on the issue of contraception and sexual immorality. Talk about condemned out of your own mouth.

Contraception is contracepting the Faith — and the only men on earth who can speak about it are instead content to speak of immigration and carbon emissions. They need to open their eyes or close them forever. Souls are being led astray — and not by the culture but by the very men consecrated to save them.

If a person doesn’t detest his sins, they can't be forgiven.  

That thought should strike terror into the soul, but given the condition of the soul of modern man, most will simply yawn at it. One of the major effects of sin today is the growing enormity of the unforgivable sin — that one which cannot be repented of because there is no desire to repent of it.

There is no desire to repent because there is no knowledge that we need to repent. And there is no knowledge of the need to repent because there is no sense of sin. And there is no sense of sin because there is no knowledge of sin owing to culpable ignorance. And culpable ignorance is to be distinguished from invincible ignorance.

In the 1800s, an Italian priest, St. John Cafasso, preached to prisoners on death row. So successful was his work with the condemned prisoners that he became known as the "priest of the gallows." Saint John had intense experience with souls just before they were dispatched into eternity. So his counsel in this matter of the need for renouncing of sin is to be most especially considered.

He says the following: "It must necessarily happen that, on account of this most certainly culpable ignorance in which most men live, an enormous number will come to be damned, because no sin is pardoned which is not detested, and it is impossible to resist sin properly if it is not known as such."

It's so good to hear clear Catholic thought, to breathe clean, pure Catholic air. Contrast this clarity with the idiocy of the current proposition that we have a reasonable hope that all men are saved.

Most men are damned. All the saints who have approached the topic have said so. Even St. Teresa of Avila, who never committed a mortal sin, was shown not just a vision of Hell, but the place that had been prepared in Hell for her by the devil. The vision was shown to her to rouse her from her then lukewarmness.

We need to cut the garbage being peddled around the Church these days by clerics that most people go to Heaven. That thought has no grounding in Catholic tradition, beginning with Our Lord Himself.

We must hate our personal sins, detest them because they offend Almighty God. That is the point of contrition — being contrite because we have so offended the Divine Majesty. But this is language the Church of Nice doesn't want to hear.

Consider this: We hear sometimes conversations about this or that notorious sinner having gone to confession on his deathbed. It's then bandied about by Church of Nice spokesmen that he is in Heaven. What we never hear about is the degree of hate that he would have to have had for his sins for them to be forgiven — meaning, for example, that if he were to suddenly be cured miraculously, he would never go near his former sins.

We have to have a firm purpose of amendment — meaning to amend our lives, to change. Absent that, there can be no pardoning, because there is no real sorrow and detesting of the sin.

Consider the case of Enlightment star Voltaire.  He abused and mocked the Church continually.  Then he suddenly fell ill and a priest was sent. He received last rites, but unfortunately for him, he recovered his health.

Shortly after he returned to his former ways, bowing to mocking by his friends. A short while later, he once again found himself on his deathbed, but this time his friends prevented the priest from attending to him. Voltaire died screaming that he saw the devil coming for him.

Anyone who does not hate his sins cannot be pardoned for them. Saint Paul understood very well when he said "Work out your salvation in fear and trembling."

There's a good chance that the much-celebrated Voltaire now wishes that he had hated his sins in this life.

Today, an example of failed motherhood. And for the record, this isn't being mean; this lady wrote this in a public newspaper column. She celebrated in a public forum her son’s leaving the Faith. So it gets a public response.

First, the actual case: A Catholic mom who writes commentaries for a local paper in Carmel, Indiana recently wrote how proud of her teenage son she was for him bowing out of receiving the sacrament of confirmation:

On the last day of their five-day preparation retreat, literally seven hours before the ceremony, I got a call from my son telling me he did not want to be Catholic. He would not be making his confirmation that evening. ...

When I picked him up prior to the [M]ass, I heard his reasons. They were good. They were strong. And in that moment, I realized maybe I was actually a decent mom. I'd somehow taught my kid to stand up for his beliefs, whatever they are, and even if they aren't the same as my own.

This is a perfect example of how the Faith is being destroyed generationally. Interestingly, she did have a pang of conscience for a moment: "Had I done this? Had I been the one to turn him away from Catholicism, from my heritage?"

But, she says, she quickly disposed of that thought and was more concerned that she had already ordered two cakes for the confirmation party. It's not able to be said with any certainty that in answer to her own question, had she done this? But given her happy response to him abandoning the Faith, it's difficult to picture that she didn't have something to do with it.

Did she turn him away from Catholicism? Who knows for certain? Did she help him remain in it? Doesn't sound like it. She went on to say that all her family members were also excited and encouraged him in his apostasy — hardly surprising owing to the fact that they more than likely are apostates themselves.

And for all the liberal, Church Of Nice, Catholic establishment types out there, don't forget this story multiplied millions of times across America when you express shock over the next round of Church closings and lack of vocations and death spiral of Catholic marriages and so forth.

How do you think the Church is in such a freefall? Because of parents like this. What Catholic mother whose first concern has to be the eternal life of her children ever declare that her own child has good reasons, strong reasons for leaving the Faith?

That is failed motherhood — because no matter what her son goes on to achieve in this life, no matter how worldly successful he is — if he institutes world peace, finds a cure for cancer, ends world hunger, saves the entire planet from fake man-made climate change — if he loses his soul, his life was a failure.

Where did a mother who appears from her picture to be in her mid- to late forties get such a crazy notion that there are good reasons for leaving the Church? That her son, abandoning the Church established personally by the Son of God, the one true Faith, could have good reasons, strong reasons?

Well, all she and millions of other Catholics have heard for 50 years — so her entire lifetime — is that all religions are essentially the same, there are many paths to God, and she has heard this, directly or implied, from Catholic clergy. She has heard or absorbed the idea that sex outside of marriage is okay, as long as you "love" each other — apparently not enough to commit to a lifetime of love, but hey, good enough.

She's learned that contraception even in marriage is okay. Even if God wanted to create more humans, it's perfectly fine if you told God to take a flying a leap; you were going to do what you wanted to do.

And on and on and on. This is the condition of the Church these days: unfaithful Catholics, partially unfaithful from what they've absorbed from unfaithful priests and bishops, and the part of them unfaithful because they like not hearing about the Cross. They like their social club, suburban, middle-class, Church of Nice of Catholicism where spirituality is a myth and all that matters is the self.

There will come a day when this young man will need his faith, and his mother would have been complicit in his losing it. She wondered for a moment if she was a good mother. Her son walked away from the Faith with his mother applauding it, and inviting the rest of the family to join in the ovation. You do the math.

Pray for this family, and all the millions of others they stand in place of. The enemies of Christ, those most dangerous, are standing inside the Church — some are clergy, others are mothers.

TRANSCRIPT

In the Gospel of St. Mark, we hear Our Blessed Lord make a very frightening prediction about the fate of the damned. He says in reference to Gehenna (meaning Hell): "where the worm dieth not and the fire is never extinguished."

The fire part is more obvious, but the worm that never dies? What is that about?

The worm is a person's conscience, their everlasting shame, the guilt of their own choosing constantly burrowing into them, giving them no rest, no respite from the agony of shame. The word for "worm" in Greek is the word for "maggot," which feeds on festering flesh in a perpetual cycle of larvae and egglaying and new rounds of maggots feeding on their hosts.

And since Hell is continual, everlasting, so too will be the horror of the damned who will be forever subjected to the guilt of their own self-accusing consciences which they did not conform to the truth in this life.

We all know the feeling of shame, of guilt. When our consciences accuse us of some misdeed, some sin, the resulting feeling in our souls is awful. The difference between guilt on earth and guilt in Hell cannot be understated. On earth, time can have the effect of lessening the sense of guilt and of shame. Over time, a conscience can become dulled, even killed, to any sense of shame regarding sin.

Beware the man who feels no guilt. Healthy guilt is the correct response to the recognition of the evil inside. The man who feels no guilt is like Hitler or Stalin. But do not be deceived that a person has to be a megalomaniacal, murderous dictator to feel guilt. The lives of those individuals just happen to be where having no conscience met opportunity. 

Many men alive today would be just as notorious if only the right circumstances had presented themselves. But absent those specific, world-altering circumstances, many men abandon their duties as fathers or husbands for the thrill of a sexual liaison. Many more walk out on their families to take up sexual relations with another woman.

These men feel little if any guilt for their actions and even rationalize their actions as good because they have found their soulmate, or rationalize the evil and blame it on their wives for gaining weight or not being understanding or a host of other reasons.

All the while, they bury their guilt or don't really have any because they are just little Hitlers who never got the chance to play out their own evil on a world stage. What happens to these men when they are damned to Hell, to Gehenna, where the flame is never extinguished and the worm dieth not?

Their consciences accuse them in the brilliant light of truth, which creates for them a neverending torment. They can ignore the reality of their sin perhaps while they live on earth, hampered as it is by space and time and incomplete knowledge. But in the glaring brightness of the glory of God at their judgments, they see their sin manifest in all its ugliness and reality and horror and revulsion. And they are locked in that self-torture forever and ever — the affairs they never repented of, the sexual liaisons never repented of, the abortions they were a part of and never repented of, the abuse of their bodies and minds never repented of.

Yes, the worm that dieth not! No rest, the fullness of the reality of the sin, always digging deeper, always burrowing more and more, each torment giving way, folding into further torment — and all the while, the knowledge that this was their own doing. Salvation — escape from all of this — was completely within their grasp.

Yet like a drowning man, they ignored the lifeline thrown to them, did not heed the siren call of warning to save their souls. So great did they esteem the pleasures of this life that they passed up eternal life for a few brief moments, and in the process, killed their consciences. But the conscience is resurrected in the next life and becomes the everlasting accuser in the next.

No rest, always weary, tossed about in the agonies of Hellfire, scorched from the outside, tortured on the inside. Indeed, where the fire is never extinguished and the worm dieth not.

If you are one of those stupid Catholics who has not been to confession because you have deadened your conscience, then wake up and fly to the nearest confession you can find. You can face and conquer your guilt in this world — or have it torture you forever in the next.

Get to confession.

And don't believe anyone — even a bishop — who tells you you have a reasonable hope that you and the rest of men are saved. No you don't, not if you have deadened your conscience and not repented of your sins.

The disgusting scene that unfolded on the streets of Washington, D.C. Saturday called the Women's March needs to be labeled for exactly what it was: a march in support of lesbianism and transgenderism, ensuring that mothers can continue to slice their children to pieces in the womb and that the government will pay for their contraception.

It had nothing to do with changes to healthcare, because lesbianism, child murder and contraception have nothing to do with healthcare — although gender dysphoria does.

And to call it a "women's" march is an insult to all the hundreds of millions of decent women who fortunately outnumber these feminazis.

The filth that spewed from the mouths of people like Madonna — who belted out the F-word more than anyone else in recorded history — the wearing of what we will politely call "Cat Hats," the number of middle fingers that were flipped by the thousands — all of these made it difficult for their mainstream media allies to leave the cameras on them for any length of time.

This was a revolting display from the real Deplorables, who cloak their evil in the guise of good.

Healthcare? Killing your child is neither health nor is it caring. This is a completely ginned-up cause by those who want to act (with emphasis on act) desperately aggrieved by Trump's lewd comments that were revealed during the campaign. But no one can claim to be revolted by his comments who, at the same time, marches through the nation's capital spewing out language with accompanying signs and symbols that would make devils blush with shame.

Where were all these women when Bill Clinton wasn't just "saying" crude and lewd things but actually doing them — repeatedly, dozens of times, even in the Oval Office itself? Not a peep from the victims of patriarchy, wounded, abused feministas — because it's never been about that. That's just a convenient cover.

Bill Clinton sexually assaulted more women than you could count. His female wife verbally attacked those same women in public when they came forward — and no one in the media of the feminazi crowd breathed a word. They kept their mouths shut because Bill was their champion of childkilling, the Planned Parenthood patsy; and while they may have been disgusted with him (we don't know because they never said, and 30 years later, have still never said), they weren't about to rally against the man who had sworn to keeping their child murdering machinery in place.

No. This whole victimhood thing needs to be unmasked for what it is: a massive protest against morality.

That's why the organizers kicked out pro-life women from the march preps earlier in the week; it's all about advancing their immorality and evil — a giant release of pained and guilty consciences that know down deep their lesbianism is a psychological disorder and the children the rest of them have murdered in their own wombs have wrecked them spiritually.

The rage displayed by these emotionally and psychologically devastated women is completely unbalanced, mentally off. It needs to be called out for what it is.

That a person like Madonna, whose own children have expressed dismay at her exploitation of sex during her career, would be one of the lead representatives of this event says everything you need to know. How many marchers in that crowd have the blood of their own children on their hands? Guilt is what inspired them to march, not fear of Trump.

If Bill Clinton — who actually did assault and abuse women by the dozens — didn't inspire deep fear in these women, then you'd have to be completely off the reservation to think a man who just says something vile would.

The sounds you heard in the streets of D.C. on Saturday are echoes of the sounds the damned will hear in Hell — hate, rage, anger, guilt, shame. This was not a women's march; it was a march for lesbianism and mothers who murdered their children and needed a way to vent their shame and guilt. That there were so many only speaks to the depth that the diabolical has reached into life on this earth. The women who marched hate God and cannot tolerate their consciences.

During the New York Times hit piece on us here at Church Militant last month that liberals are starting to pick up on, I said in response to a question that the current political climate in the United States is a war between two camps: those who believe in God and those who don't. This war isn't going anywhere or ending anytime soon because Satan never sleeps — and neither can we.

The Church Militant must call out evil for what it is. It's all about consequence-free sex with whomever you want, whenever you want — and that's all it's about.

The real problem with the Church of Nice, which is demonic in its deceit, is that it does not prepare you for your death. It lulls you into a false hope of security and comfort. This is why it's demonic. It cooperates with the plan of the enemy to have you ill-prepared to stand before your Maker. Want to know why you so seldom if ever hear a word about Hell in homilies or talks or communiques from the USCCB? Because they are doing the will of their father — the Devil — in keeping your eye off the target and your mind out of the game. Satan wants you dying in a state of mortal sin. Period.  

Now, there are lots of ways this can happen. You can be an adulterer, a bank robber, a kiddie porn producer, a drug dealer and on and on. But for people who are not really given to those sins, what's a demon to do? How does the devil get these people into Hell? There are many, many people who that list of sins is just not appealing. So something other than the usual sins must be brought before them to tempt them. And so perhaps the greatest and most deceitful sin that can be presented is one whereby Satan helps the person think they are spiritually okay — sure, maybe not some great saints with stigmata and visions but doing pretty okay in the meantime — make them think that being associated with the Church is good, without ever really being totally and completely in love with the Church, viewing the Church through the prism of one's self-identity, our heritage, our family custom and so forth. But whatever Satan does, he cannot allow such a person to see the Church as necessary for their salvation.

He not only can allow but actually desires that a "nice" soul see the Church as sentimental type thing, a nostalgic body full of fond memories and so forth. The warm and fuzzy Church where we wave at people we know in the parking lot and have donuts with after Mass and have all sorts of "fellowship" with on the way to a fellowship in Hell for all eternity. Why? Why is this the case? Because the Church is not primarily a gathering place for warmth and friendly chatter.It is the sole means by which a soul is purified from sin and escapes this life in a state of sanctifying grace and so avoids Hell and is saved from the chains of the enemy.

So, Satan has taken great strides to make the Church seem simply reasonable for all those milquetoast, reasonable, socially polite souls who will not fall for his temptations of modern man in killing children and abandoning their families and turning to addictions. Call it complacent Catholicism which is the exact opposite of what the Church Militant is. Church Militant is anything except complacent because the fight for souls is not an easy thing.

The Catholic faith exists for the singular reason of attaining salvation. All other faiths, regardless of the intentions behind them, are false and cannot save. True, they may have elements of the Truth but that truth is always Catholic truth, not their own truth. There is no truth aside from Catholic truth because the founder of the Catholic Church is Truth HImself. All truth comes from Him. Yet to hear modernists and heretics and dissidents in the Church talk these days, you'd think that's all a lie.

The likes of Fr. James Martin and Fr. Dan Horan and Fr. Gary Braun in St. Louis even go so far as to preach that Jesus wasn't really sure of who he was and then appeal to equally devious "scholars" and say modern scholarship all says this. Homosexualist James Martin even says Our Lord started off as a disciple of St. John the Baptist and somehow later came to a dim recognition that he should maybe blaze His own trail. Of course, the veiled denial of the divinity of Christ is nothing new in the Church, but it is always disturbing when coming out of the mouth of a priest.

In case you haven't noticed, there are various bishops in the Church these days who are busily trying to reshape and represent what the Church actually is or rather who the Church really is. And make no mistake, they hate tradition in the Church because tradition is the authentic faith and they hate that. So anything that presents the Faith in a traditional way, they do their best to destroy it. That's why San Antonio Abp. Gustavo Garcia-Siller kicked out three very lovely traditional nuns from his archdiocese who had attached themselves to the beautiful and lofty Ordinariate parish of Our Lady of the Atonement. Garcia-Siller had made a play earlier to grab this parish and get it under his control, and he lost that fight.

The Ordinariate parish is extremely faithful and wedded to traditional Catholicism and the modernist bishop couldn't stand that in his own backyard. So, he tried to get control of the parish and when that failed, he got all vindictive and ordered the nuns back to Alabama. See, these things must be talked about in the open. It is impossible to advance the cause of the Faith these days with such men working behind the scenes to destroy it without calling them out.They want you to believe that the role of the Church is all about immigration and earthly justice and don't give a hoot about the spiritual realities. That's not Catholicism. It's the Salvation Army or Presbyterianism or something else but definitely not the Church founded by the Son of God — the eternal Logos.

They don't care about liturgy other than to distort it and make it all sentimental. They don't care about catechesis other than to make it human-centered. In fact, as you survey the landscape of many of these leaders, you'd be hard-pressed to conclude many of them are actually Catholic. That's why apostolates like this must exist and must flourish. We point you to the ancient teachings of the Church that these men want to obscure from your intellect. Not all are wicked minded. Some certainly are. But too many are content to let you waltz through life and be ill-prepared to die. Well, we aren't. And neither can any Catholic who cares about the Church, the authentic Church, outside of which there is no salvation.
