  • Conservatives Move Right: Liberal Shellacking Continues

    TRANSCRIPT

Could it be the case that all the social sexual woke weirdness over the past two years, especially the past few months, is changing some people's minds and making them more conservative? According to a recent survey, that looks like a distinct possibility.

But before diving into that headline, a word of caution. First, the term "conservative" has proven itself to be pretty darn elastic and somewhat difficult to nail down. It doesn't seem to correspond to an objective set of criteria but, rather, a description of where a person stands politically compared to someone else. So yeah, it's not all that helpful. But that said, it doesn't mean nothing.

Second caution: Polls and surveys nearly all need to be delved deeply into because the takeaway headline is almost always a giant overstatement of what the poll finds. So with those cautions, let's look, because there does seem to be some merit to this.

It looks like a "fed up" mindset is beginning to develop.

Here are the two major takeaways from the Gallup poll released a few days back. First, 38% say they are conservative on social issues and that's a 5-point uptick from just last year. Second, that 38% percent number is now the highest percentage saying they are socially conservative since 2012 — more than a decade. But as we said, you got to go deeper than the headlines. Where and why are these shifts occurring?

When polls are conducted, rarely is the question "Why do you think that?" asked. It's just too expensive and, in real-world terms, impractical. However, where or what different social groups is something that is tracked, and this poll does just that. As it turns out, it's not so much the case that the woke idiots are changing their minds — and we use the term "minds" very loosely. It's rather that people who identified as mild conservatives or even moderates are firming up their preexisting beliefs.

Why that is happening was not measured. But since the somewhat sizable shift has happened in such a short period, it does seem to suggest that something in the culture is prompting the shift. What might that be? Well, there is, of course, no definitive way to know that, but there does seem to be a correlation.

It looks like a "fed up" mindset is beginning to develop because a close examination of the deep data reveals Republicans account for the largest increase in saying they are socially conservative, from 60% in 2021 to 74% today, which is a 14-point jump in only two years.

Of course, Democrats remain unyielding in their ideology, with just 10% saying they are socially conservative today, which is unchanged over the past two years. But it is, once again, that mushy middle of the independents where the tale is told. Among them, an increase from 24% to 29% has occurred over the past couple of years. Though modest, it's still a 5-point shift.

Since our focus here at Church Militant is the Faith, we are concentrating on the social numbers, not a series of questions about economic opinions. There, unsurprisingly, was even more of a shift toward "conservatism" but, of course, not with the implacable Marxist Democrats. Seems the Devil always overplays his hand.

Nothing moves them, nothing. But then again, they kill children by the millions, so what's a jacked-up economy between friends? What appears to be happening is that Biden and his woke mob running the government and their cooperation with corporate America to force their agenda down our throats seems to be backfiring, at least among more even-keeled people.

And when it comes to polling and reading the tea leaves, you always want to look at as many as you can and find any trends and common themes. That Biden is unpopular is inescapable as a conclusion — lowest approval ratings since before the American Revolution. Likewise, he continues to trail both DeSantis and Trump (even with his indictments) in poll after poll.

Seems the Devil always overplays his hand.

It could be the case that the Biden years could pivot from a controlling new world order to normalcy again — not the much-needed Catholic normalcy, but it's at least a move in the right direction. In a war, cultural or otherwise, you advance in various stages. You need real estate in order to expand.

In an ideological war, that translates into people waking up and realizing that the position they held, or were indifferent to, has real-world consequences, and they change their minds. Marxism is bad. It's evil. It's destructive. It's a killer. That some people may now grasp that better is a good thing. And the "conservative," which is philosophically in shambles, can use all the help it gets, even from Uncle Joe in the White House.

  • The Truth About Big Pharma's Cover-Up

    TRANSCRIPT

COVID was a devastating period for the world. But there is much more information coming out now about it despite Big Tech and Big Media's repulsive attempts to silence and censor the information.

In an exclusive one-on-one interview with Dr. Peter McCullough, a leading world expert on the real story of the virus and the pandemic (and, most importantly, how it was capitalized on by nefarious forces), we learn

    • It began as a military experiment in biowarfare and went very wrong
    • It absolutely did originate in Wuhan at the lab, and
    • Giant Pharma conspired to prevent and shut down effective early remedies, which would have saved millions of lives.
    • And McCullough has, as they say, "all the receipts" on this.

The implications of what happened are horrifying for the future because the people who brought this about have designs on world domination — and controlling your health is key to that in their plan.

We highly encourage you to watch this interview. It is the quintessential summary of where the entire story now stands.

You'll be surprised, saddened, and then angry, which is the only natural response to this there can be. Lust for power and money: That was the bottom line.

    • Is It Only Wicked Men With No Willpower?

      TRANSCRIPT

There is a gigantic clash of foundational philosophies going on in America right now, and the one that wins will dictate the course of history and the fate of the nation.

Everything that is being shoved in front of us daily in media and entertainment and sports and commerce is from the side promoting atheism — what we lovingly term "the Left" or "Marxists" but is really properly termed "the demonic." They do have the microphone, no doubt.

But there are quiet but nonetheless equally (if not more) determined efforts playing out to battle them in what has turned into really a kind of last stand — the legal system.

Brian Festa is a Catholic attorney who co-founded the organization We The Patriots precisely to battle against the forces of godlessness in the culture.

One victim of the New World Order establishment We The Patriots was able to help (among many) was Teryn Gregson, who was fired by the PGA as a sports reporter for refusing to go along with the mandates.

Men have surrendered their God-given roles.

Brian encounters examples like this every day — the New World Order steamrolling over everything in its path, from churches and their schools being "inspected" by the State and ordered to expel children who don't have their health records up to date, to cases like Teryn's.

In another case, a Catholic teacher in Oakland, California, was ordered to start using a child's preferred pronouns or she'd be fired. She refused and reached out to Brian and We The Patriots, and the school backed down.

The courts have become the last refuge, as Church Militant itself is well aware in some of our cases, when basic rights are being trampled by much more powerful forces.

The feminization of the men in the culture stemming from the sexual revolution and women's lib movement of the 1960s has created the perfect storm for institutional invasion and collapse, which many on the Right increasingly agree is almost inevitable.

It must be fought back against ferociously, on all levels in every arena if there is to be any hope of survival, or dare we say it, even some kind of restoration. You will notice that much of the fight is being led not by men, but by women — women like Teryn Gregson, who is pointing to men and saying step up.

This is a perfect segue into us reminding you that Church Militant's Strength and Honor Conference for Men (we do it every summer here in Detroit) is this upcoming Aug. 4–6, Friday through Sunday, and is specifically dedicated to energizing men to get into the fight, in the Church and in the culture. It's a call to arms, to shore up and defend what we have left and begin some kind of counteroffensive against the onslaught.

Please sign up for that today by just clicking on the provided link.

That men even have to be appealed to, and should I say it, challenged by women to fulfill their role of protector — well, how low have we have descended?

Come to Detroit this August (first weekend) for our annual men's conference, Strength and Honor.

It's all collapsing and it's because men have not done what they need to do; they have surrendered their God-given roles.

    • Awesome: Abby Johnson Turns the Tables on Liberal Bishops

      TRANSCRIPT

Abby Johnson has become a very looming presence in the pro-life world, especially after having deserted Planned Parenthood and two abortions of her own. In a recent interview, she spoke with Church Militant about her frustration as a Catholic at the massive lack of leadership within the clergy (especially the bishops) when it comes to defending the preborn.

One case in particular that bothers Johnson, as it should all Catholics, is the apparently exalted, bulletproof status of James Martin.

If Abby sounds like she watches and follows Church Militant, well, there's a reason for that. Our talking points are shared by many in faithful circles, and they routinely come up as the destruction in the Church continues unabated. For example, for close to 20 years now, Church Militant has hammered on the insanity of the so-called seamless garment garbage proposed by homosexual Cdl. (now deceased) Joseph Bernardin of Chicago.

So, admittedly, it is refreshing to hear that the message has taken root. But on the political side of the house, Johnson says the pro-life movement doesn't have the stomach, right now anyway, to see the fight all the way through. They are too worried about people's opinions.

It just might have to turn to blood in the streets.

The pro-life movement also got caught flatfooted in the wake of the U.S. Supreme Court Dobbs decision, which did kill Roe, but rejuvenated a listless and stunned abortion movement, which set about to lock down abortion as a legal right in state referendums around the country.

In response, Abby says not only do we have to have to keep pounding the drum, but it just might have to turn to blood in the streets. There are certainly massive challenges for the pro-life cause now that Roe is gone.

But it seems like too many pro-lifers were wearing rose-colored glasses as Roe sped to its demise and, once again, underestimated the tenacity and staying power and ability of the death merchants to quickly get up off the canvas and charge once again into the lead. Abby Johnson is definitely not one of those pro-lifers. She gets it.

She has no illusions that we are in a totally different kind of war than in the days of Roe. More in the pro-life movement had better wake up to that reality as well, in very short order. If you'd like to watch the entire interview with Abby Johnson, please click on the provided link.

    • The Truth About Protestant Christians' Faith

      TRANSCRIPT

Time is running out on the country. Correction — time may have already run out. We're just waiting for the impact.

But regardless of whether there is something left to salvage and the ability and desire to push back against the culture-destroying forces of communism, one thing is clear, as it always has been: Without Catholicism, specifically Catholicism, the country is gone.

And we aren't talking about individual (likely Hell-bound) Catholics like Joe and Nancy. We are talking about the actual Faith — the teachings, the ones that lot deny while still being allowed to claim the mantle of "Catholic" by an even larger, more revolting crowd of bishops who allow it.

Protestantism does not equip one for salvation.

The Catholic Church, the human dimension, has been overrun by the Protestant heresy. When we talk about the Church of Nice, that's actually what we are talking about — that large group of Catholics who have joined themselves to the lie that is Protestantism.

Protestantism is a lie because it is a heresy. And heresies, like schisms, lead to Hell for the unrepentant. Both heresy and schism deny certain truths of the divinely established Catholic Church, and in the case of Protestantism, it does so kinda subtly.

See, Protestants, shifting away from the system to actual individuals, Protestants do have some truths of the Catholic faith. Normal ones believe in the Trinity; they accept the divinity of Jesus Christ; they accept something about baptism at least (just not the fullness of it); they believe in the Final Judgment, the resurrection of the body on the Last Day; they believe Scriptures are inspired.

But here's the rub: Every single last one of those beliefs they get from Catholicism. Period. They didn't come up with those on their own. When Martin Luther and his heretical cohort were walking out of the Church, they took a few things with them, those beliefs among them.

And then, over the centuries, Luther's followers have taken those Catholic treasures and distorted them almost beyond recognition. In the area of theology, for example, Protestants don't have a clue about Sacred Scripture, although they all dance about like they do.

They interpret it for themselves and fill in the blanks as they go along, essentially making it up. What it creates is an environment where instead of being instructed by Scripture, you instruct it. Protestants impose their personal beliefs on the texts and twist them to mean whatever they like the most.

That principle is the major reason why there are 40,000 different branches. When they disagree with what this verse or that passage means, some dude just goes off and starts his own congregation. And notice, we say "congregation," not "church." There is only one church. Christ called it, not them, His "Church" (not "churches").

Even calling themselves a church is a lie. They are not a church. They are normally nothing more than a non-profit organization that meets once or twice a week and occasionally gets something correct in Scripture, but which most of the time makes a shipwreck of the sacred texts because they have denied the authority of the Catholic Church, who gave the world the Bible.

And then, having denied the authority of the Church to correctly interpret it, even though the Church produced it, they then claim a right that they do not possess — the ability to interpret Scripture. They have no such right and they have no such ability. They are in error. Whether they are aware of their error or not is not the point. That will be for God to decide and mete out judgment or mercy accordingly.

But here on earth, note this very well, every single Protestant, every last one is being led to Hell because of those errors. Might some be preserved somehow, some way? Again. That is for God's inscrutable ways.

But no one gets to Heaven, enters into the beatific vision because he subscribed to and followed error. Not a chance in hell he gets to Heaven.

Protestantism is a lie. It denies true worship of God, the way God Himself directed it to be done. It denies the authority of the Church as Christ Himself invested it. It denies the need for apostolic succession, being able to trace directly back to the Apostles themselves. It denies the history of Sacred Scripture. It denies the efficacy of the sacraments, most especially the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. It twists and distorts Sacred Scripture in the egotistical air of telling congregations what they want to hear.

Protestantism does not deal in truth, even if like most heresy, there is some truth present. It's a lie. It lies about divorce and remarriage. It lies about birth control. It lies about fornication. It lies about adultery. It, again like all heresy, corrupts all that is good that comes into contact with it. Its sole purpose is to destroy. It destroys the intellect and the will.

Its leading spokesmen put up roadblocks and lay obstacles for their followers who actually do want to know the truth.

No Protestant minister, no Protestant so-called bishop, has any more authority for preaching or interpreting scripture than any other man on earth. He is nothing but a layman. Where would his authority come from? He rejects the Church, which traces its line back to the Apostles themselves.

So who says he is right or has a shred of authority to lead souls? No one but himself, that's who. So big deal — he went to a seminary founded on heresy that may have awarded him a diploma to go add to the heresy? That's not authority. That's further distortion.

Now if that all sounds rough, well, good. That means something inside you, your conscience is disturbed. Follow that. This evil heresy, perhaps more so than others because of its vast reach, has been permitted to flood into great portions of Christ's Church by the very men charged with protecting the sheep — not exposing them to the wolves.

The bishops will pay a very heavy price in the next life for not combating this evil, by pretending that we are essentially all the same. We are not essentially all the same, in essence. They deny the Church, and he who denies the Church denies Christ Himself.

You will frequently hear Protestants refer to "the church," and what they mean by that is anyone at all who claims to believe in Christ. That's not the Church, not even close. Protestants subscribe to heresy — knowingly or not (God's judgment). But it is a heresy nonetheless. A lie, even if they have imported some tidbits of Catholic truth here or there.

      Protestants subscribe to heresy.

It does not equip one for salvation; it equips one for self-delusion. And that Catholic bishops would permit this evil, this lie, and even push it, means they will be held the most accountable. No bishop can allow, or even cooperate in, the damnation of his own flock and somehow think he won't be damned.

Catholic laity must cease immediately with coddling this lie, varnishing over it with some pretense that they don't want to offend and all religions are basically the same and there are many ways to God. Such responses are the very core of the Protestant lie, a rejection of true authority and assuming unto one's self an authority they do not possess.

Not a single book of the Bible claims itself to be inspired. Not one. Yet Protestants go on and on about the Bible being inspired. Well, since the Bible itself doesn't even claim that, then why do they believe it?

There's a very simple answer to that question, but we're going to let it hang there, just like that. Why believe something about the Bible that the Bible itself doesn't even claim?

There's only one correct answer and here's a hint: You won't find it in the lie of the Protestant heresy.

    • Protestantism Is a Ticket to Hell for Many

      TRANSCRIPT

We want to follow up on this theme regarding Protestantism, which seems to have really struck a nerve. A couple of necessary distinctions first, because the Catholic mind makes distinctions because distinctions must be made to arrive at correct understanding so right judgments can be formed — and then, of course, choices.

First, Protestantism is a heresy, and no amount of politically correct pandering will ever alter that. It is a heresy, plain and simple. And because it is a heresy, it is a lie.

The Church, in canon 751 of the Code of Canon Law, defines heresy as "the obstinate denial or obstinate doubt after the reception of baptism of some truth which is to be believed by divine and catholic faith." But as the Catechism points out, there are formal heretics and material heretics, and the difference between the two boils down to the individual's subjective disposition of his opinion.

A formal heretic is one who is aware that his belief is at odds with Catholic teaching and yet freely and willingly continues to cling to the belief pertinaciously, meaning stubbornly. In other words, they have a bad motive and cling to a position purely out of pride, a position they know or suspect is wrong but are simply unwilling to admit it. This is a man of bad will.

But a material heretic is a person who denies a truth that must be held by divine and Catholic faith, but who holds the heretical belief because of either invincible ignorance or because of an error held in good faith. "Good faith" here means he thinks he is right and not in error, but on the contrary, is in possession of the truth.

Protestantism is a heresy, and no amount of politically correct pandering will ever alter that.

So a given person, an individual Protestant, can hold a heretical view, but depending on his intention or level of ignorance, not necessarily be a heretic himself, not in the formal sense, anyway. It all comes down to whether the person is completely and totally convinced, without a shred of doubt in his mind that his belief is correct, or if he harbors some lingering doubt, however small, that he is either wrong or not completely sure, and yet forsakes truth or the exploration for it because of pride or the cost he might have to pay for so doing.

The first case does not incur sin. The second case absolutely does because it is a sin against the Holy Spirit, as in it rejects truth. So, those necessary distinctions made, the belief system known as Protestantism, which incorporates over 40,000 competing denominations, that system is heretical. It denies the truth and authority of the Catholic Church.

Some Protestants are formal heretics, and others are not, meaning some operate out of bad will, meaning they either have doubts about their own beliefs vis-à-vis Catholicism, while others operate out of goodwill, yet are still mistaken.

For example, a Protestant minister who entertains even the slightest doubt, the tiniest sliver of doubt about his beliefs as they relate to Catholicism, yet refuses to explore those doubts and remains obstinate because he doesn't, for example, want to lose his livelihood, that is immoral and sinful because he is not operating in good faith, goodwill.

If, for example, he knows what the Church teaches about the Eucharist, the Real Presence of Our Lord, and even wonders that he might be wrong and the Church correct, and, in the process, simply skips over John chapter 6 or St. Paul's admonitions about faithful reception, that dude is in deep doo-doo when he dies, because not only did his sin remain in him, but he extended it to his congregations, denying them the truth in the process.

On the other hand, a person raised in some heretical denomination, who simply has never encountered the Church's teachings but is willing to give them a listen and stack his own beliefs up against them if or when that happens, that person is not in sin, at least regarding heresy. He may be in all sorts of other sin and be damned for that, but heresy will not come up at his judgment, which, at the end of the day, would be little comfort.

Here's the problem with heresy among Protestants: For those with bad will, it will damn them. For those of goodwill, they are still in error, and while they may not face judgment for incorrectly believing, through invincible ignorance, that they are correct, they don't substantively have a way out of mortal sin, normatively speaking.

Yes, they might not be damned for the sin of heresy, but it sure seems highly unlikely that they have never committed any other mortal sin in the course of their lives. If they have — likely — and they die in that state, they cannot be saved.

Any person must die in a state of sanctifying grace, or that person is damned and, without access to the sacraments of the Church, it is highly unlikely that any given person can be extricated from a state of mortal sin. Might it be somehow possible here or there or under some kind of unknown divine operation reserved to the mind of God? Well, yes. But is a person really willing to bet their eternal lives on that?

Our Blessed Lord Himself personally instituted the Church and the sacraments of the Holy Eucharist and confession so that sinners may be restored to and/or strengthened in their lives and return to or come to a state of sanctifying grace. That is what He Himself set up as the norm, and this is why the Catholic Church is necessary for salvation, no ands, ifs or buts about it.

Anyone who is not about evangelization ought never entertain a hope of Heaven.

Protestantism is a heresy because it denies all that — in fact, has developed an entire theology, albeit a phony theology about all that. Protestant theology exists ultimately to deny Catholicism, directly and indirectly. And every bit of that heresy's theology is built upon that foundation, that the Catholic Church is not necessary for salvation. It absolutely is.

It's time for Catholics to start saying what needs to be said to our baptized-yet-separated brethren. Those of bad will — what can you say? But there are many of goodwill who will listen if you say what needs to be said. And this seems the appropriate place to repeat the words of Fr. John Hardon when it comes to Catholics speaking the truth to everyone, but Protestants in particular: "Anyone who is not about the business of evangelization might never entertain a serious hope of the beatific vision."

Repeat for emphasis: "Anyone who is not about the business of evangelization might never entertain a serious hope of the beatific vision."

In short, if you are not trying to bring people to the fullness of the Faith, the Church established by the Son of God, the Catholic Church, you can forget about Heaven.

    • The American Experiment Is a Genuine Failure

      TRANSCRIPT

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from the We The Patriots Conference in Boise, Idaho, where loyal citizens of the republic have gathered for a series of talks and presentations on the state of affairs and what can be done.

But in side discussions with some folks here, a theme is emerging that Christianity is being (or has already been) replaced by a kind of political religion, where the Constitution is viewed as more important than the Scriptures.

Of course, no one here at this heavily Protestant-attended event will come right out and say that, but that's the undercurrent, at least among some (and by some, we mean not a few).

America is a Protestant nation. Period. That is the underlying ethos that permeates, or at least permeated, every institution in the country. But what exactly is the Protestant ethos? What is the underlying philosophical principle which flows through the bloodstream? Ultimately, it is a rejection of authority.

      America is a Protestant nation.

What Martin Luther unleashed in the 16th century as a purely theological revolution did not remain purely theological for very long. Eventually, it worked into the political arena, and there it sits today, dominating so-called conservative evangelical politics.

Protestantism, meaning all 40,000 denominations, has simply thrown in the towel on getting to the bottom of the question of truth. Each of those religions — and be clear, each denomination is its own religion — proposes contradictory principles and beliefs to all the other religions.

Yeah, sure they have some beliefs in common, but they also have various beliefs in total opposition to each other. And over here in America, a decision was made to simply allow erroneous and contradictory beliefs to coexist side by side and have no involvement from the government — good in some ways, but ultimately destined for total cultural collapse because it is truth that's ignored.

So the Scriptures became a benchmark for perusing through and cherry-picking whatever verses support your personal interpretation for your worldview, including your view of God and whatever morality your god demands of you.

Of course, only one of two courses could be followed: Either slug it out and determine which religion is truthful or ignore the theological and philosophical contradictions and just move on. It was, obviously, the latter course that was chosen. In short, the proverbial can being kicked down the road.

Well, now, as a culture, we are at the end of the road. The bill has come due. Protestantism, because of that "choice," has had to create a new religion that there could be more agreement on. Politics is the new religion, and the "holy writ" is the Constitution. If the Constitution says it, then it is "gospel," so to speak, or at least treated as such.

And while there are, of course, many things to celebrate about the freedoms enumerated, in many cases, they are so elevated so as to surpass the natural moral law. Protestantism, bereft of any authentic understanding of objective truth philosophically and theologically, is forced to fall back on political language and enshrine it as almost religious.

So they end up defending Satanists, for example, trying to pervert children, because, you know, the First Amendment — as though that is the ultimate source of truth. Standing in the public square and denouncing them accomplishes nothing, but it is the fallback position. But that approach fails to take into account the more foundational theological reality that man is fallen.

It's not like man sits and argues in the public square until the truth is arrived at and then corresponds his moral choices accordingly. Political Protestantism denies the necessity of grace and substitutes it with the need for political activism. It makes glancing appeals to Scripture, but never ventures into the real nitty gritty, where the war is actually won or lost.

That's why you always hear "Jesus this" and "Jesus that" all over this world, but never "Jesus condemns divorce and remarriage or contraception." Those two hot-button issues are completely avoided because they would splinter the theologically weak compromise that has been agreed to.

Mention Jesus, talk about "Judeo-Christian values," but never actually define what any of that actually means. Don't stir the pot; there's a nation to save, damn it. After all, Fr. Luther said we interpret the Scriptures for ourselves, and that's the only authority.

As a quick aside, ever wonder why Protestantism, built on the premise of protesting the Catholic Church's authority, follows a crazy Catholic priest? Just asking.

So what we have now is a culture where, because the Constitution blesses it, people have a "right" to promote evils as legitimate objectives. That is not in accordance with natural moral law, despite all the grandstanding and chest-thumping.

The Founding Fathers were not perfect. They didn't possess the gift of prophecy. They couldn't look 250 years down the road and think that freedom of religion would extend to Satan worship in public schools. They couldn't look 250 years down the road and think that freedom of speech would extend to giving drag queens the right to have 10-year-olds slip dollar bills in their g-strings.

But because of the way the Constitution is elevated to near divine status by political Protestantism, they have no choice but to grant that those people do have those rights. People have the ability to do wrong and promote evil, yes. That's who Hell is ultimately for.

Protestantism is forced to fall back on political language.

But they do not have a moral right to propose violations of the natural moral law as protected because the Constitution says so. Let's be clear, it does say so, or at least doesn't say no. But — and this is where Catholicism necessarily parts ways on the political front with Protestantism — Catholics and Catholic teaching subscribe to natural moral law, across the board.

The Protestant heresy rejects that, bowing instead to the authority of the Constitution over and above God's laws when they come into conflict.

This is why official Protestantism has caved on every moral question of the day and Catholicism has not. We are rooted in God's law, His natural moral law. Protestantism is rooted in a belief that the Constitution is God's law.

They are wrong — politically, theologically, morally and philosophically. And all you have to do is just look around at the current cultural collapse. The worship of America is killing it.

Coming to you from the We the Patriots Conference in Boise, Idaho, this is Michael Voris.

I'm Michael Voris, reporting to you from the We The Patriots Conference in Boise, Idaho, held over this past weekend. If you happened to catch the Vortex yesterday, we posted our talk to the crowd from Friday.

Today, we'd like to do something that doesn't usually get reported, but to do that, we need to set the scene for you.

There are quite a few of these types of conferences around the country on a pretty regular basis. They are almost always heavily attended by politically conservative Protestants, perhaps a leftover from the days of Jerry Falwell's "moral majority" of the 1980s.

But regardless, there is no doubt that there is an extensive network, and even industry, of political-conservatism grassroots events like this around the nation. Much of the time, the same themes get hammered over and over again, like they should, because, while yes, you are speaking to the choir, it's also true that the choir needs rehearsal.

Catholicism has the intellectual firepower to fight against the collapse of the nation.

However, because oftentimes the speakers are not Catholic, but are still men and women of goodwill, the more heady philosophical problems with Protestant conservative politics don't ever get addressed. Even when they might, it's only ever in very cursory, generic Christian terms, which, at the end of the day, is pretty useless.

So when we come to events like this invited as speakers, it's a chance to drive home the message that generic Christianity (meaning Protestantism) will never be able to solve the cultural collapse because, frankly, the Protestant heresy caused it.

Yeah yeah, we know — so much for ecumenism. But we don't care. It's true.

So to be certain, we had no illusions that some folks in the audience of about 300 would not exactly cotton to the message that only Catholicism has the intellectual firepower to fight against the collapse of the nation.

We also had no illusions that some wouldn't get up and walk out — and, true to form, they did. A little disclaimer: We have no way of knowing whether everyone who got up and left was leaving because of the points made in the talk. They might have had to go to the bathroom or make a phone call or whatever, but it's unlikely that every single one of them left for reasons other than the topics, especially since we heard that various people were "riled up," as it was described to us.

And for the record, the topics all pointed to the embrace of the sexual revolution by Protestant denominations over the past 60–70 years, starting with the Anglican acceptance of contraception at the infamous Lambeth Conference in 1930.

So as we went through the list of Protestant capitulations one by one, folks started getting up and leaving — about 25 in all out of about roughly 300. And for the record, Our Lord's crowd all got up and left, so we are still underperforming. Only about 10% of our attendees left.

And interestingly, while we don't have video of all the walkaway folks, almost every single one was a boomer woman. And given how the sexual revolution was marketed to women as "freedom for women," "women's liberation" and "fighting the patriarchy," it's a safe bet that, now, looking back on their lives, many boomer women are simply having a hard time facing the hard truths about being totally tricked (just like Eve was). But they were. The Marxists, like Satan, marketed their plan to women, in an effort to destroy the family, and they succeeded wildly.

After the talk, we started signing books for attendees, and it was interesting hearing the personal interactions from those who came to the table. Every single person (and with the rare exception, they were Protestant) we spoke with admitted they hadn't thought of all this in these terms, which the bottom line is that the Protestant heresy is what brought about the cultural collapse.

The word "culture" comes from "cult," which means "religion," and if a civilization gets the religion wrong, then the culture collapses. And it is at this point precisely that leaders in the Catholic Church will have much to answer for. They deprived not only Catholics from their birthright, they also deprived a culture willing to listen from the fullness of the truth as well. Talk about a sad, sad commentary.

The reason there is so little knowledge of the Faith among Catholics is that they have been infected with the Protestant heresy, and the bishops did nothing to inoculate against it. In fact, in many cases, they actually promoted it — and still do!

There are always people of goodwill who are willing to give the truth a hearing.

Bottom line on all this: There are always people of goodwill who are willing to give the truth a hearing. Always. Absolutely always. We got into a few discussions with such people after the talk. They were inquisitive, clear-minded, grateful, and even got a book to learn more.

Sure, if you hit people hard in the face with the truth, some walk away. But others will take that cold smack as a wake-up call and choose to learn, and they won't walk away.

And as a special note, especially for those living in Southern California, here's a way to walk toward truth, not away from it: Church Militant has joined forces with other good Catholic outfits in sponsoring a peaceful prayer procession on June 16, as reparation for the Los Angeles Dodgers' shameful decision to mock Catholics by honoring the blasphemous "Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence," who really are drag queens impersonating nuns.

If you can make this prayerful pilgrimage, please meet at the Cathedral of Our Lady Queen of Angels in L.A. at 4:30, where the procession will make its way to Dodger Stadium where the drag queens will be celebrated as part of pride stuff. Everyone is encouraged to wear red to honor the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

    • White Liberals Are Drowning the American People

      TRANSCRIPT

Here's a question: Why do so many White people still vote Democrat? It's a sizable minority, and questions of election integrity aside, the trend is in favor of Democrats, especially the group known as "college-educated" Whites. College educated really means Marxist indoctrinated, so it can't be a surprise that so many of them both recognize a fellow Marxist and then vote for him. But among the non-college-educated White voting block, that's where the real news is hidden.

Obama won an extremely sizable number of this vote: 40%, which was largely responsible for propelling him to victory — twice. Hillary lost ground with them, specifically gaining only 36% of them in 2016. But in 2020, Biden stopped the bleeding and improved a bit, getting 37% of White non-college-educated voters. This is important for two reasons.

College educated really means Marxist indoctrinated.

While shrinking somewhat as a single voting block, they still make up a very large chunk of the electorate, 44% of all voters in 2020. Also important, besides just the numbers scattered across the nation, they make up an even larger share of the vote in crucial key swing states. An analysis of voting by race is revealing, but the cut line within a race category seems to be dictated by whether you went to college or not.

For example, while Trump won a majority of the White vote overall, he underperformed in 2016 compared to Mitt Romney by four points and then underperformed against himself by another four points in 2020. So the combo of being White and having gone to college seems to be a harbinger of bad news for Republican candidates. In fact, in a political climate where nearly every margin is the by-the-skin-of-your-teeth metric, these trends really determine the winners.

But on the other side of the race aisle, the non-White voting bloc Dems have put together, there is a question there as well. For example, why would Blacks and Latinos and Asians continue to cast their votes in favor of Democrats who kind of speak a good game to them in speeches but leave them mired in poverty and violence and discrimination election cycle after election cycle?

Heck, Asians voting for Dems is even more curious. While generally more upwardly mobile than Blacks and Hispanics, they are the ones specifically who directly suffer from the Dem policy of discriminating against them getting into big-name schools. In the Twitter world, because of the way they are treated by the Dems, they have earned the label "honorary White folks." So why do they keep voting Democrat? It's a mystery that needs to be solved.

And while it is not a skin color issue, the mystery of why so many Jews vote Democrat while Democrats hate Israel is another question, but not for now. At least within the Black and Latino communities, Trump did make some headway, eating into the Democrat margins in both camps, but nowhere near enough to offset the move of White college-educated voters to Dems coupled with the somewhat stagnant vote of the non-college-educated White vote.

It is in the final analysis, at present at least, the White vote as a bloc that keeps handing victories to Democrats. While not a majority, it is enough marginally to keep the Dems in power when added to the giant voting margins they possess in the non-White voting camp. Again, there are some trends away from Dems in the Black and Latino camps, but that's offset by the Democratic gains among White voters, comprised largely by the shift among the college-educated crowd.

How the Dems continue to make those inroads while also still largely holding onto non-Whites is a nut so-called conservatives have to crack. It's made all the more fascinating by the fact that, according to major Democrats, even if some of them are White themselves; if you are White, you are racist. Period. If you are White, forget about the back of the bus; you shouldn't even be on the bus.

If you are Christian or male or straight and you vote Democrat, you're either suffering from a secret self-loathing complex or completely unplugged from the world around you. Who goes and votes for a candidate who insults them based on their skin color? Imagine if the tables were turned on this question. Would Blacks or Hispanics turn out in droves to vote for a candidate who campaigned on the platform that non-Whites are inferior? Then why do so many White voters actually do that?

Who goes and votes for a candidate who insults them based on their skin color?

The Democrats have found some sort of secret sauce here when it comes to locking down sufficient numbers of White voters who they insult and smear. Truly. This is uniquely an American issue because of this country's complex history with race. But even there, the KKK is a Democrat organization and yet somehow, someway, Black voters simply give their overlords a complete pass on that. It makes zero sense.

But that is a distinctly different question from the White-vote mystery. Minority communities have voted Democrat for decades, and even with a little shift within that population, it's still a lockdown vote for them. What is the mystery is the White vote and that enough of it has been peeled away by Dems to propel them to victory after victory, even if the margins are thin — for now, anyway.

So as much as the Dems whip out the race card, it's clear something else, some other dynamic, is at play among voters. Until this is figured out and reversed, the slide to anti-Catholic, godless Marxism in the United States will continue.
