Catholic hymns — meaning sacred songs — are wonderful teaching aids. Deep truths are translated into simple lyrics and transmitted to meditative rhythms.

For example, the beautiful hymn "O Come, O Come, Emmanuel" is a huge favorite. Every line is pregnant with deep theology, but one verse, in particular, has a very revealing line.

The world (creation) is ordered by God, and it's not just ordered but ordered mightily. The power of the Holy Trinity transcends all creation and keeps it in existence — keeping it in right relation to Him, to Itself and to each other.

The breath of the Holy Spirit permeates all life and blows its life into everything, making us partakers in the divine life — echoing that we are made in the image and likeness of God. God the Holy Spirit keeps all immersed in the mighty order established by the Creator.

God's love for man is a cause of comfort as well as joy.

However, when man used his God-given free will to transgress and go astray, God did not abandon him. He sent a Savior, ordained in the divine mind from all eternity, to take us back from the power and rule of Satan. The entirety of Catholic life is summed up in this truth, as well as this verse.

What we anticipate here in Advent and celebrate at Christmas is the very truth that we are saved from Satan's power if we only embrace salvation. This is the good news.

Man's natural destiny is damnation; he is unable to save himself. But God's love for man — even to the point of sending his own Son as our Savior — is indeed a cause of comfort as well as joy.

The good news is just that: God Himself injected Himself into our demolished world that had become the dominion of Satan and opened up a door or a window by which we could escape his power.

God Himself had to do this. This is the glory of the Faith, the reason for existence. Remember all this as Advent winds down, and Christmas begins to dawn. And, yes, feel free to leave a comment about our Church Militant trio.

  • Giant Slush Fund

    TRANSCRIPT

Just before we begin, we'd like to say "thank you" to everyone who has contributed to our End of the Year Campaign as well as invite those of you who have not yet done so to please click on the provided link.

As you know, Church Militant reports on affairs in the Church that damage souls and cripple the spread of the gospel message, and we do it like few others. It costs a lot to run this operation, so your donations are necessary and much appreciated.

And in keeping with that type of reporting, Church Militant has been made aware of what one person with knowledge described as a "giant slush fund" for the U.S. bishops. It appears to pass as an insurance company called Catholic Mutual, headquartered in Omaha, Nebraska, in a $9-million building that doesn't seem to have many workers (at least judging from the parking lot during regular working hours).

It is an insurance company. In fact, it is a massive insurance company. But on its website — and here's the really weird twist — Catholic Mutual says plainly, "As part of the Catholic Church, Catholic Mutual is the leading provider of property, liability and employee-benefit coverage ... currently serving 134 dioceses and archdioceses and 200 Catholic religious orders."

There are some strange things here. For example, the line that Catholic Mutual is "part of the Catholic Church" is a little vague. It's actually yes and no. It's true that bishops of the Church run the insurance agency. Church Militant has learned it's actually listed as its own church, but there doesn't appear to be any specific, direct tie to the Church.

Catholic Mutual is free from scrutiny because of the hierarchy's machinations.

Furthermore, how can an insurance company really be "Catholic" — just because bishops set it up? It is a corporation and only associated with the Church because of the bishops. And because it is a business, it should be able to have its finances examined. But because the bishops set it up, it is free from all scrutiny.

What is known is that enormous — "outrageous" was the word used by some clergy Church Militant spoke to — monthly premiums are paid by individual parishes, and they are not allowed to shop on the open market. The bishops force their parishes to pay into this insurance pool.

And moreover, in recent years, as the premiums have increased, the deductibles have also actually increased, as reported to Church Militant by various pastors. That's not how insurance (of any kind) works. The higher you pay for your monthly premium, the lower your deductible is supposed to be. You don't have both go up.

But Catholic Mutual is completely free from any oversight or scrutiny because of the hierarchy's machinations. Thousands of parishes are forced to pay thousands and thousands of dollars every month into this insurance company. Years go by, quite often, before any parish ever makes a claim, especially with higher-than-should-be deductibles.

In addition, multiple religious orders are paying monthly premiums. Catholic Mutual has published that 134 dioceses and archdioceses are members. That figure represents thousands of parishes of the nation's roughly 16 thousand. Factor in all the religious orders also paying monthly premiums, and it becomes pretty clear that a massive amount of money is pouring into the bishops' insurance coffers every month — likely in excess of $50 million, every month.

That's a huge amount of money just accumulating in that building. More than half a billion each year, and Catholic Mutual has been around for decades. Which, if any, of these funds are ever paid out? Who keeps track of them? Where's the oversight? In what and how are they invested?

This is absolutely insane. A body of men — the bishops — who lied to the faithful for decades about gay clergy raping teenage boys, and now deliberately bankrupting themselves to avoid payouts, is sitting on billions and billions of dollars, completely free from scrutiny because they claim to be religious. This is as immoral as hell.

Not a Catholic in America should give a penny to anything related to the corrupt, establishment Church. These men are beyond corrupt. They have access to, likely, billions of dollars and never breathe a word about it to anyone. We have no idea what this is being used for. We do know we've never seen a homeless bishop and certainly not a starving one.

These men are immoral and have access to virtually unlimited amounts of cash.

Virtually no Catholic in America knows about this, and yet there it is. Why should bishops not have to explain this? They are constantly fleecing the flock, and yet over there, on the side, they have a giant slush fund that you can bet your bottom dollar is being used, at least in part, for immoral activity. These men are immoral and have access to virtually unlimited amounts of cash. That is a deadly combination. They need to open the books, immediately.

Using this group, priests are forced to pay for their car insurance, parish premiums, health insurance, all of it. The bishops will not allow parishes to shop around for lower rates, so what you're dealing with here is forced monopoly. And remember, the money pastors have to pay to the bishops' slush fund is your money.

And moreover, what's to stop a bishop or diocese from laundering hundreds of millions through this outfit? The answer is, absolutely nothing — especially if they are all in on it. "Slush fund" doesn't come close to describing what's going on here. In fact, you've got to wonder why the IRS hasn't descended on Catholic Mutual and said to open the books. This is a multi-billion-dollar insurance company posing as a church, nothing more.

For years now, Church Militant has been saying that the hierarchy is an international gay crime syndicate. The "gay" part has pretty much been established. The "criminal" part is likewise well established. Well, here is the "syndicate" part. You need to start demanding answers, and that means priests as well as the laity. Stop giving these liars and thieves anything. Let them dip into their multi-billion-dollar slush fund.

  • Bankruptcy

    TRANSCRIPT

As more and more dioceses around the country declare bankruptcy in the face of a flood of sex abuse lawsuits, bankruptcy is proving to be a double-edged sword for the bishops.

First, and very important to understand, their declaring bankruptcy has nothing to do with not having the money (or resources) — they do. It has everything to do with preventing victims from gaining access to it.

And even before bankruptcy, dioceses, like the one here in Detroit under the leadership of the duplicitous Abp. Allen Vigneron, take proactive steps to shield their assets. A couple of years ago, Vigneron and his complicit legal team from Bodman schemed up a crafty plan.

They took all of the diocese's assets and shifted them into a brand new company called Mooney Real Estate Holdings, which officially has nothing to do with the archdiocese. The only member of the corporation is Abp. Allen Vigneron.

So, officially, all of the assets of the archdiocese no longer belong to the archdiocese, and, therefore, the archdiocese can't be sued for them. We'll see if that legal maneuver holds up in court when the lawsuits are revealed here in Michigan (expected later this year).

Remember that the state attorney general's office raided the Detroit chancery a while back and has been sifting through boxes of confiscated files since then. But the move in Detroit by Vigneron points to the larger issue that bishops are now having to face the music for their immoral, sinful and (perhaps) criminal actions of covering up sex abuse for decades, burying the cases in archives and hoping they just get forgotten about.

Bankruptcy is proving to be a double-edged sword for the bishops.

Other dioceses, like Santa Rosa, California, as well as New Orleans, Louisiana, have recently filed for bankruptcy. While that does limit the amount of payout to victims, it also exposes those records to scrutiny by a public court.

In the case of New Orleans, that exposure resulted in revelations that the archbishop himself, Gregory Aymond, was accused by a former seminarian of sexual abuse when he reported harassment by gay seminarians. No wonder bishops don't want these files gone through.

But in the case of Bp. Robert Vasa of Santa Rosa (which includes Napa Valley) and his close association with Tim Busch and his annual Napa Conference (which Vasa attends religiously each year), a history of revelations of untoward activities regarding priests begins to be revealed.

As a quick aside that helps contextualize all this, Vasa's attendance at Tim Busch's annual Napa Conference is facing increased scrutiny since Church Militant revealed that Tim Busch hosts gay weddings and receptions at his lavish properties, something Vasa has never commented on, even after it became public.

Likewise, Tim Busch, owner of the Meritage Resort properties, has never issued a response to the revelations. This is made even more poignant by the fact that his annual conferences are all about "Catholic identity and fighting the culture wars." He rents out his properties to the very ideologues he rails against each summer, all while collecting millions of dollars of income.

So Vasa's silence on all that is even more curious, considering he is viewed as a "good bishop." But, perhaps, this may be a case of keeping each other's dirty secrets. Last week's bankruptcy filing by Vasa opened up old wounds for the diocese of Santa Rosa, involving various priests stealing money from parishes and wealthy donors and Vasa's potential cover-up of it.

For example, Church Militant has discovered a 501(c)(3) nonprofit attached to a Santa Rosa priest from India. Sources in Africa and India tell Church Militant that priests from foreign countries use this as a means of stealing and funneling money. Local reports reveal this may be the case with this particular Indian priest in Santa Rosa — doing this with Vasa's knowledge. This has been going on for a number of years.

The non-profit is called Joy Bharath, and federal records reveal it traces back to Fr. Balaswamy Govindu, one of Vasa's priests. Why is a foreign priest who operates under a U.S. bishop running a tax-exempt nonprofit? Who is he soliciting for funds? Why is Vasa silent on this? Is he reviewing his priest's financial affairs? What exactly is going on in this diocese?

But this isn't all that's being revealed in this bankruptcy. A story exploded in 2019 about a priest by the name of Fr. Oscar Diaz, who had embezzled close to $100 thousand from his parish, according to Vasa and his diocesan investigators.

The former pastor, however, says the real figure is substantially more — closer to half a million. In fact, the diocese of Santa Rosa has a decades-long history of theft (of huge sums of money) by a homosexual clergy, something critics say Vasa has spent more time covering up than cleaning up.

Bishops are now having to face the music for their immoral, sinful and criminal actions.

Fr. Diaz was brought into the diocese by then-Bp. Zeimann, a homosexual thief who blackmailed one of his priests into sex, once the priest was discovered to have been stealing from parishes. Diaz had actually been promoted to vicar for Hispanics and remained in that position under Vasa until a much-publicized car crash, in which he incurred significant injuries when racing toward San Francisco. When police arrived at the scene, they found tens of thousands of dollars in cash blowing around in the vehicle.

Sources inside the diocese tell Church Militant that this news prompted Vasa and his vicar-general to go to Diaz's rectory, where they entered through an unlocked door. There, according to sources, they found suitcases jammed with cash and Sunday parish collection bags from various parishes — also crammed with cash. Our sources say no one knows what happened to all that cash. It was not returned to the parishes.

However, parishes were reimbursed through a mysterious insurance company controlled by the bishops. Vasa is on the board of the insurance outfit. When law enforcement began to investigate and ask questions, Vasa sent Diaz back to Mexico. Additionally, a separate insurance payment was made to Diaz's parishes for close to half a million dollars, which seems to support the reasoning that the priest stole much closer to that sum than just a hundred thousand.

But some other information has emerged as a result of all these bankruptcy filings, and it has to do with an enormous pile of cash the U.S. bishops are sitting on through this self-insurance business — the same business that reportedly made the half-million-dollar reimbursement to Diaz's parish.

It's called Catholic Mutual, although some regions give it a slightly different name. But it is a completely nontransparent company that handles hundreds of millions — likely billions — of dollars for the bishops. Almost no Catholic has the slightest idea this giant fund exists. More on all that on tomorrow's Vortex.

Archbishop Gregory Aymond of New Orleans denies all the allegations made against him. He is yet to be tried in a court of law for any crimes.

    TRANSCRIPT

A little more than a year ago, Church Militant hosted a New Orleans sex abuse victim here in the studio and interviewed him about his tragic story. Local media outlets, as well as documentary makers, provided extensive coverage of his case in the archdiocese of New Orleans.

    [Transcript unavailable]

During our interview, recorded at Church Militant in November of 2021, Richard Windmann dropped a bomb.

    [Transcript unavailable]

We sat on this interview for more than a year while we checked it out. Immediately after hearing this information from Richard Windmann, we directly texted Abp. Aymond with the following text:

"Hello, Archbishop. This is Michael Voris from Church Militant, and we have received some reports that you personally sexually abused a man who was a former seminarian, and another case where you abused a minor male. Do you have any comment for us?"

We sent that text at 7:34 p.m. ET on Nov. 2. That was 6:34 Abp. Aymond's time. We received no response from him. But the next morning, we received a call from his communications director, who immediately asked me if we could talk off the record. I told her no. Reporters should never give away their right to report, because they would enter into an agreement without knowing the terms.

Notre Dame seminary has had a notorious reputation for being a homosexual hotbed.

I asked her point-blank if the archbishop denies the charges, and she became evasive. It struck me as really weird that an archbishop gets a text out of the blue from a media outlet asking if he sexually abused someone personally, and he doesn't immediately deny it.

That he would send his communications director on a hunt for information on what we knew was even more strange. At some point, the facts of how he handles this become problematic. What man would not immediately deny an accusation that he molested both an adult and a minor if he had, in fact, not? Then, what man sends his communications person to gather background information on what we know?

Based on what we were learning quickly and continually, I texted Aymond a second time about a week later:

Good morning, Your Excellency. As you may know, we have delayed publication of our story regarding accusations against you, owing to a growing number of individuals being in touch with us with what we might term "more information." The story, as they say, is "developing," with reports that you are on a "witch hunt" to discover who is talking to Church Militant. That issue aside, we have a question for you based on these "developments." Question: Have you ever had sex or sexual activity with any priest under your charge in the archdiocese? We would appreciate an answer from you directly instead of your communicating many hours later through a communications director. A reporter's duty is to get as close to the source as possible. In this case, you are the source who can best answer the question, which, frankly, doesn't need a lot of thought. You can answer me directly in one second. Additionally, I don't know if it was communicated to you that, having scored a righteous victory over the city (and the USCCB operating behind the scenes), Church Militant will be in Baltimore and warmly invites you to do an on-camera interview with us while there. If there is no truth to any of this, we will happily provide you the opportunity to utterly deny it, as well as share with us your own private investigation results as to why these accusations are arising. Thanks, Archbishop. God bless.

Well, it took a year, but, at last, the news broke last week and was, in fact, the lead story on Church Militant Evening News one week ago.

    [Transcript unavailable]

Aymond declared his archdiocese bankrupt — unable to bear up under the weight of enormous lawsuits.

The specific charge, which Church Militant sat on for more than a year as we vetted it ourselves, involves a former seminarian of Aymond. He alleges that Aymond, as rector of the seminary, groped and touched him and made a pass at him after he went to him to complain of fellow seminarians coming on to him.

Notre Dame seminary has, for years, had a notorious reputation for being a homosexual hotbed, earning it the nickname "Notre Flame." Aymond was rector during some of those years.

Earlier this year, Aymond declared his archdiocese, the second oldest in the country, bankrupt — unable to bear up under the weight of enormous lawsuits, all alleging homosexual predation on the part of multiple members of the clergy protected by a gay chancery.

Church Militant will keep you updated on this story as it develops, but we can tell you that it was only because of the bankruptcy that this case came to light, as the archdiocese's records were turned over for inspection. It's likely, given the volume of cases, that much more will be coming to light.

In the meantime, to give you a sense of how the New Orleans archdiocese conducted itself for many years, we'd like you to watch the full interview we did with Richard Windmann. You can watch that by clicking on the provided link.

  • The Cultural Pit Stop

    TRANSCRIPT

First, a blessed Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception to you and your loved ones. The role of Mary in salvation history cannot be overstated, and this, coincidentally, is related to today's Vortex topic.

Protestantism — the heresy — has a very difficult time with Mary. In varying ways, it either ignores her, diminishes her or even insults her. Although, oddly enough, as much as statues are reviled in Protestantism, statues of Mary do pop up every year at this time, even on Protestant properties in the manger scenes.

But heresy in general is denoted by its denial of truth; and for this reason, America (as well as large parts of the Church) is crippled. The connection between theology and society is significant. When we talk about "culture," the word itself derives from "cult," which ties directly to religion.

So if a culture is going to be preserved or proposed without any reference whatsoever to religion, then it has no hope of survival. But even more so, in our culture here in the United States and the West, where multiple versions of religion (in general) and Christianity (specifically) coexist, the truth of the matter is, they really don't coexist — they only appear to.

Sure, individual men may be polite and so forth with each other, even get along and be friendly. In the end, the ideas and beliefs will war with each other until one or another comes out on top — for such is the nature of truth when it is proposed to the intellect.

Protestantism is a cultural pit stop on the road to either atheism or Catholicism.

In the realm of Christianity, for example, the role of Mary is rejected by almost every single Protestant denomination. Catholicism has a great devotion to Mary and honors her in her role because God assigned her the role she has. To acknowledge Mary (beyond the barest recognition) is to acknowledge God's choice to elevate her above all creation.

That and many other theological points prove the supremacy of Catholic dogma, but, in a pluralistic society, political and cultural leaders will declare that such a claim cannot be made. Unfortunately, this includes Catholic leaders who don't necessarily reject the supremacy of Catholicism — at least publicly — but never out-and-out declare it, as they are divinely charged to do.

Here is the brutal truth: Catholicism is the fullness of the Faith, period. It is the Church established personally by Christ and promised to never be overcome by the gates of Hell, with Her teachings guaranteed by the Holy Spirit.

Protestantism is a heresy, and as such, it possesses some truth, but it can never possess the fullness of the truth. If it did, it would cease to exist and simply be Catholicism. Protestantism is a cultural pit stop on the road to either atheism or Catholicism.

At the end of the day, no other belief system can exist or lay claim to truth. Religion, by its very nature, is an all-or-nothing proposition. Who, for example, believes his religion to be the right religion but then disagrees with it in various ways? It's the teachings we're talking about. Why would any thinking man belong to a religion he disagrees with, much less claim it is the "right religion"? And if he doesn't believe it to be right, why belong?

But even if an individual believer doesn't see the obvious contradiction here, certainly the religion itself adheres to the proposition that it is the correct religion. If not, that would enter the realm of the preposterous. What religion exists believing another religion is the true religion? If so, how could it make any claim on its followers?

So beginning with the proposition that every religion believes itself to be the true religion, and continuing with the reality that there are tens of thousands of religions and/or denominations, it is the case that, as a culture, we have never resolved the large issue of which religion is the right religion.

And failing that, there has never been any further settlement on the question, posed by atheism, whether God exists or not. In previous world civilizations, these questions were settled. There was a God, or gods, and the State approved a religion (a cult), which the culture submitted to.

But that approach has never been followed in the Enlightenment West. A chaotic scattergun approach to religion (or no religion) has been adopted, and, as a result, the culture has become chaotic, with no one having any claim on truth other than by force (namely, the government).

But is there not truth as it exists in itself? If so, what is its nature? What is the philosophical underpinning of any religion? All this needs to be hashed out. Is there a God? If so, what worship is accorded Him? What religion promotes that worship? And that means there could not be more than one true religion.

Protestantism didn't appear on the scene until 15 centuries after the events of the New Testament.

But the "culture" has avoided these questions, and because religious men and women have not tackled these issues, atheism, with its own morality, has surged to the fore and is now the dominant force in the culture. That atheism would control culture stands in direct defiance of all human history and human experience.

If human affairs and morality are not governed by a force outside of the race, then where do they come from? The only answer would have to be the State, which explains why there is such a scramble for control of the government and its power, its authority.

For the moment, Christianity is the majority religion in America, with almost two-thirds of the population identifying as such. But since there is debate over which version of Christianity is correct — and only one of them can be — atheism has seized the day. After all, there is no real disagreement and infighting among atheists over the nonexistence of God. What would there be to actually debate?

Protestantism cannot make a claim — no Protestant denomination can make any claim — to be the authentic Christian religion because Protestantism didn't even appear on the scene until 15 centuries after the events of the New Testament. But the intransigence of this particular heresy, now 500 years old, has opened the door for cultural confusion and chaos, which we are now feeling the full brunt of.

Protestantism must choose; it cannot remain forever on the sidelines, in a cultural pit stop. No one can remain idled indefinitely. Protestantism must either admit of Catholicism or succumb to atheism. There is no other choice. It's all or nothing — every thing or no thing.

  • Channel of Grace

    TRANSCRIPT

Thanks in advance for your generosity in donating to our work here in always presenting authentic Catholicism. You can make your end-of-year donation by clicking on the provided link.

There is a prevalent view that a man involved in good works is on his way to Heaven — that salvation is either assured or demonstrated, depending on which theological square you may be standing on.

There are, for example, many involved in the very important work of pro-life activism or feeding the poor or helping out at soup kitchens or teaching the Faith. All of that is laudable and, of course, needs to be done.

But a serious question for the individual here arises: Is it possible to be involved in such work, even if it's your life's work, and still be damned? Well, of course it is.

The distinction was made by St. Bernard when he spoke of the difference (in the spiritual life) between being a channel versus being a reservoir.

    Hear him:

The channels let the water flow away, and do not retain a drop. But the reservoir is first filled, and then, without emptying itself, pours out its overflow, which is ever renewed, over the fields which it waters. How many there are that are devoted to works, who are never anything but channels, and retain nothing for themselves, but remain dry while trying to pass on life-giving grace to souls! We have many channels in the Church today, but very few reservoirs.

Consider: Even the work of sinners and the (eventually) damned, God uses in His providence. He even uses Satan's malice for His own end.

The damned Apostle Judas was a channel of grace. Pontius Pilate was a channel of grace. Annas and Caiaphas were both channels of grace.

Satan has tricks to fool people into a false sense of security about their eternal fate.

While we each have free will and may choose our own demise, what our future choices will be is already known to God, and He crafts His divine plan of salvation accordingly.

This is why, when understanding the spiritual battle, one must never view it in terms of Satan versus God. No creature stands in juxtaposition to the Creator. The battle began between Michael and Satan and is now concluded in Our Lady: the woman and Satan.

God has no rival, as He is outside of time as well as completely over it. So the sinner, in the natural order or otherwise, never knows the future — but God does. Accordingly, He incorporates the freewill decisions men make against Him into His divine providence, reducing such men to channels of grace. As the saying goes, God even uses evil to bring forth good.

So in a topsy-turvy world where, today, so many people recognize the evil in politics, culture, the Church — wherever — and militate against it, if they are merely channels of grace in their good works and not reservoirs, they shall not see Heaven.

All good works, to give merit to the person, must originate from a life of holiness or, at least, striving to be holy. It is not the works that make one holy; it is the interior disposition from which the works flow that is necessary.

I'm directing this thought especially to young adults who are bearing the brunt of so much evil in society — the work that many of you do to try to stem the evil of corrupt politics, for example. That work may be availing to some; it may, on some level, even succeed.

But if you are trapped in a world of pornography and masturbation, it avails you nothing. If you and your live-in girlfriend or boyfriend or same-sex whatever are fighting for the unborn, that's good for the unborn but means nothing for you when you stand before Christ the Judge.

If you are a soup kitchen volunteer or routinely hand money to the homeless at red lights, that's good for the poor — certainly, they benefit — but if you are trapped in serious sin, you benefit nothing. You are reduced to a mere channel of grace — grace for the other, but you retain nothing of it.

Too many young people today have been inured to sin, especially their own: constant pornography, acceptance of masturbation, carefree sexual license of multiple types. These destroy your ability to fight the fight that matters most.

They cast their anger (justifiable anger, mind you) on a culture that has largely abandoned them and not passed on to them the necessary cultural and spiritual realities to advance into manhood.

But every man, and that includes men in their 20s and early 30s, still has the natural law written on his heart and, absent actual doctrinal truths being transmitted to him, will still be judged on how he conformed his life to the natural law.

If young men desire to fight the culture, to strike back at the disenfranchisement they rightly feel, then sainthood is the path. That does not mean to not engage in the culture wars — quite the opposite. But no matter what good in the natural order you may very well accomplish, it means absolutely nothing if you are damned.

That grace passed through us will account for nothing; grace passed through Judas.

Satan has many tricks to fool people into a false sense of security about their own eternal fate, even those working within the Church and doing objectively good things. Saint Paul warned of this, and most importantly, so, too, did the Son of God.

He recounts what it will be like for some of His followers when judgment comes, and they are refused entry into the heavenly banquet. In what has always struck me personally as the most horrifying words in all of Sacred Scripture, He says to them, Go away; I tell you solemnly I do not know you.

This, from the divine lips, even after they recount their close association with Him and works for Him — Go away; I do not know you.

Grace flows from God, is the lifeblood of God. When we each die, we must be as a reservoir containing grace, containing Him. That grace passed through us will account for nothing; grace passed through Judas.

While the words of St. Bernard are good for all of us to think on and amend ourselves accordingly, I'd like to especially direct them to young adults who are so rightly passionate about the destruction of the culture. Fighting for patriotism, fighting even for Catholicism, will mean nothing if you are damned.

If you have habitual sin, fight that first. Conquer the demon within. Bring him to heel in your souls, before fighting him in the streets. The remedy for the evil in the world is holiness. Strong men are only truly strong when they battle for holiness.

Only then can they attack the empire of evil and bring about change. All else is an illusion, even if a momentary victory is logged here or there. Satan can organize a cunning retreat on the cultural battlefield, only to turn around and launch a vicious assault against your soul. In the end, that's all he wants: your soul.

Give up sin, especially sins of the flesh, and you will have your victory.

Today is the two-year anniversary of the grand opening of our completely overhauled studio and chapel, from where we are able to bring you all our programming each day. Many hundreds of you contributed to our expansion effort back then, and we would like to once again thank you for your generosity.

As you know, this operation is quite costly to maintain, and we are once again, as the end of the year approaches, appealing to your generosity to help maintain us as the leaders in bringing authentic Catholicism to our millions of viewers. Thank you in advance for your end-of-year gift, which you can make by simply clicking on the provided "donate" button.

When we look out at the culture and see the wars over Elon Musk's Twitter world and the full-scale battle playing out in Arizona in the governor's race, not to mention the constant inter-Nicene battles raging in the Church over doctrine and discipline, What's really going on? is a good question.

The answer is pretty simple, actually. It's a war over truth. Call them the "truth wars." Truth seems to be an elusive item these days and certainly a rare commodity, as all sides lay claim to it — but it cannot be the case that everyone is right. Yet somehow that proposition is put forward, at least by some.

It's the cry of the "your truth/my truth" brigade, as though truth is somehow in the eyes of the beholder. But notice, no one who claims that, actually lives according to that proposition — or if they do, they soon find out in short order that they do not get to claim their own personalized truth.

The refusal to accept religious truth is what lies at the root of the nation's woes.

Try telling your mortgage company or landlord that, when they come knocking for their monthly payment. "Well, Mr. Mortgage Man, I understand your truth is I owe you money, but my truth says I don't have to pay." It's as preposterous as suggesting that one minute you're a woman and the next you're a man, and then tomorrow you're a woman again, or, for this moment, I'm a woman and can go follow actual women into their bathroom.

Yet when it comes to anything touching on sex or preferences or so-called identities, that nonsense rules the day. Suddenly, all logic goes out the window, and the same sort that applies to the monthly mortgage no longer applies. It's not that everyone doesn't live according to the reality that objective truth exists, it's just some completely ignore it when their hormones are racing or their psychological problems are applauded.

This is where the divisions within Christianity have paved the way for all this evil. People who claim they follow Christ have never been able to agree on what that actually looks like. Degenerates see an opening there and press their post–sexual revolution agenda as far as possible.

When Martin Luther rolled into town 500 years ago, he treated the notion of truth as though it were somehow flexible. Flying in the face of (at the time) 1,500 years of settled doctrine, Luther simply decided that much of that was wrong and had to be chucked.

But before he died, a number of his followers decided his truth was wrong and had to be amended, expounded on and yes, unsurprisingly, chucked. Luther, in trying to rid the world of the pope, actually created tens of millions of antipopes — individuals who would decide the truth of Christ and the Scriptures and salvation and damnation for themselves.

How can anyone be surprised? If the very matter of eternity — the stuff of Heaven or Hell — can be treated so recklessly, so wantonly by those who espouse following Christ, why would the stuff of society and the moral life end up any differently?

After all, if hundreds of millions can hold their own truth about Christ, why can't hundreds of millions hold their truths about who to have sex with, or even what sex they actually are? Once any correct understanding of truth is laid aside, then it's "Nellie, bar the doors."

There are natural truths, physical truths, mathematical truths that most people agree on (notice, however, that most people agree on). Even here, there are those who insist, for example, that two plus two does not, in fact, equal four, at least not always. Some even refuse to accept the truth of gravity and set out to prove that it is not true. They soon discover they have actually proved it, not disproved it.

But for most people, that the world is round, gravity exists, two plus two equals four, and so forth, are truths — or, better stated, examples of natural truth. It's not a great leap. The refusal to accept natural truth almost always has immediate unhappy consequences.

But where outcomes or consequences can be delayed and altered for a desired outcome, then truth becomes very flexible. It can either be ignored or embellished or whitewashed or even lied about if the reward is valued more highly than the truth itself.

This seems to be the lifeblood of most media outlets, Catholic as well as secular. It likewise appears to be the dominant strain in interpersonal relationships, the professional world, the world of commerce and so forth. It has even found its way into the Church and the expression of religious doctrine.

The refusal to accept religious truth is what lies at the root of the nation's woes as well as those of the Catholic Church's leaders. Unlike natural truths, which have almost an immediate ramification when ignored, the ramifications of refusing to accept supernatural truth often unfold over time — but by the time it begins to be felt, it's often too late.

All natural truths flow from divine or supernatural truth, and when supernatural truth is pushed aside, natural truths will soon be treated the same way — which, of course, is what we see playing out across the nation. Because most of the world, including America, has never embraced theological truth as announced by the Catholic Church, it's always been a matter of time until men's natural affairs begin to disintegrate.

So much of what is wrong today in America — the gender garbage, the election-integrity question, the climate change issue, immigration, a recession, tens of millions of abortions, the collapse of the family, the mass disengagement of entire generations, all of it — is directly traceable to Martin Luther's revolt.

Man is chiefly a spiritual creature, who relates to the truths of his existence through his mind searching for divine truth. When divine truth is cut off from enormous swaths of the population, they will come to make their own "truth" — and that is what we have today.

The carnage is all around us. The extent of the damage, both in this life and the next, is incalculable. And yet the nation carries on, beating a path to its own final dissolution and ruin. Yes, some men (and even a growing number) do finally see this, at least in part.

Those who willfully distort truth do it so they can sin and have others join them.

There is natural truth and supernatural truth. The man who accepts natural truth has a good start but must arrive at the truth of supernature, or he will be forever mired in fighting the enemies of natural truth and likely eventually be overcome. Only supernature can defeat fallen nature.

Many have come to understand there cannot be multiple versions of Christ, just as there cannot be multiple versions of truth in a singular instance. Women cannot be men — ever. Men cannot get pregnant — ever. Two plus two cannot equal anything other than four — ever.

Likewise, the Scriptures cannot contradict themselves any more than religious truths can stand in opposition to each other and both still be true. Compromise on truth happens for one reason, always: to grant permission to sin.

When man forgets that his nature is a fallen nature and sets about to reorder his world accordingly, his world will crash down around him, sooner or later. There will be nothing left. Those who willfully distort truth do it so they can sin and have others join them.

Those who blindly go along with it do so because, in their depths, they calculate some profit or advantage for themselves. Such is the truth of a fallen world. Unless and until men embrace the fullness of the truth of Christ, as found in His Catholic Church, look for nothing of substance to change.

Broken homes, troubled youths and young adults, nervous economies, uncertain futures — all of it is rooted in a refusal to accept supernatural truth, objective truth. Catholics who do know and understand this have a heavy moral obligation to try and bring this single reality into every sphere of life. The truth war can only be brought to an end within an individual person when truth is accepted and lived.

    TRANSCRIPT

Last week, a letter was published, written by Fr. Paul Kalchik, a Chicago priest driven from the Windy City by Cdl. Cupich's failure to protect him from the gay mob desirous of his blood for burning a gay banner.

Kalchik and some parishioners discovered the banner stuffed into the back of a cupboard in the sacristy of Resurrection Parish. It had hung in the sanctuary years earlier by order of the homosexual pastor who died in the rectory, hooked up to a sex machine.

Once discovered all those years later in 2018, parishioners burned it in the parking lot, and Kalchik got the blame for it, as well as the hatred from Cupich. Kalchik is a victim, not once but twice, of homosexual predation at the hands of a priest — so the letter he published last week has some gravitas to it. A link to the full letter is below.

It is in response to the election of Bp. Barry Knestout of the diocese of Richmond, to the chairmanship of the bishops' Committee for Protection of Children and Young People. The problem is that, back in the day, Knestout was secretary to the most prolific homopredator in the Chuch's history, Theodore McCarrick.

Knestout was secretary to Theodore McCarrick.

In a damning line from his letter, Kalchik blasts Knestout, saying, "Clerics like you, who have shown a blind eye to sexual predators they worked under, are not fit to lead any reform among our U.S. priests." Kalchik details how, as a seminarian, he was dispatched by the rector to pick up McCarrick at O'Hare airport for the funeral of homosexual Cdl. Joseph Bernardin.

Once seminarian Kalchik got McCarrick to the hotel, McCarrick propositioned him, inviting him to the hotel room for a drink (not the hotel bar, mind you — his room). Kalchik, of course, declined but knew in less than an hour that McCarrick was a gay predator.

So how could Knestout have been in his presence day in and day out as his secretary and not know or even suspect? You will recall back in 2018 when all the McCarrick news broke, cardinals and bishops practically trampled each other racing to microphones to deny any knowledge of anything whatsoever about McCarrick. Knestout was among them.

And now the man — another man who knew absolutely nothing, suspected nothing — was the chair of the committee to protect children and young adults from the very sort of man he worked for closely. But Knestout has another weird twist here related to McCarrick.

Back in the day, Mark White was actually ordained by McCarrick. And when the news broke that the man who had actually ordained him was the most prolific homosexual serial predator, he went public with his feelings on social media blogs. Knestout — who, remember, knew nothing about McCarrick — went ballistic, blasting Fr. White, ordering him to take down his posts.

Good priests should be supported in their fight for justice and truth.

Fr. White refused, and his case is in canon-law court in Rome. That said, the vengeful Knestout — who, remember, knew nothing about McCarrick — has actually petitioned Rome to have Fr. White kicked out of the priesthood. Yes, you heard that right, actually kicked out of the priesthood because he posted his feelings about being ordained by McCarrick — who, remember, Knestout knew nothing about.

Father White has written a book, and St. Michael's Media has published it. It's called Ordained by a Predator and is an extremely personal account of what it feels like to be abused by the hierarchy for merely telling the truth. If you'd like to purchase a copy and help support him, please click on the provided link.

It's true that the bishops hold almost all the cards. It's also true that there is very little that can be done about them (in this life). However, good victim-priests should be supported in their fight for justice and the truth. Both these priests have been steamrolled by the bishops' gay juggernaut and deserve support and embrace by the laity. And these rotten bishops, across the board, need to be sent a message.

    TRANSCRIPT

There are many ways a person can be deceived by another. You can be directly lied to, of course. That's obvious, but you can also simply not be told the truth, deliberately, even when you have a right to know it. Under this category of not being told the truth, you can simply be ignored, or you can be told a bunch of stuff that really only serves as a deflection — a kind of "deflection deception."

And, of course, a combination of all of that can also be rolled out in a deliberate effort to keep someone in the dark. In the world of so-called Catholic so-called media, the practice of deflection deception is institutionalized policy. In fact, there is almost no difference between the likes of CNN and the run-of-the-mill "Catholic" media.

CNN deliberately lies, and the Catholic media world deflects, but in the end, the same goal is achieved — you are left without the important truth. Case in point: this 12-page secret email we've been showing you for the past couple of episodes.

We've attached the link for you to read it for yourselves. We didn't make this up, fabricate or conspire about it. There it is — just click on the link in plain view for anyone to open up and read, especially so-called journalists who claim to be reporting on affairs in the Church.

The details laid out in this email, sent to the nation's bishops 20 years ago by the Catholic Medical Association, are, in a word, explosive. It exposes that the U.S. hierarchy had indeed been warned about the dangers of homosexual men in seminary and the clergy despite their claims otherwise.

How come the bishops never seem to be accountable?

If anything ever qualified as a smoking gun, condemning the bishops' inaction and lies and cover-up, this is it. On the first page, it even recounts that Wilton Gregory, in an international press conference in Rome in April 2002, admitted the sex abuse crisis was owing to homosexuals in the clergy.

And what did the bishops do? Nothing. Then, two years later, they lied in the infamous John Jay Report and said it didn't have anything to do with that. Here is the proof they were told about all this.

So now the question must be asked of the Catholic media:

    • EWTN, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Relevant Radio, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Catholic News Agency, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Catholic News Service, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • National Catholic Register, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Our Sunday Visitor, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Ave Maria Radio, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Catholic Answers, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • National Catholic Reporter, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Crux, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • America Magazine, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Zenit, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Catholic Review, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • The Pillar, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Aleteia, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • U.S. Catholic, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • The Tablet, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • Chicago Catholic, why aren't you reporting this story?
    • There are dozens more, but the point is well made. The answer to that question is the same for all these outlets: They have a dog in this fight and will not report the truth because it comes back and hurts them. Most of those outfits are completely dependent on staying in the good graces of the bishops. One cross word or report that the bishops have been (and still are) lying profusely about the homosexual problem in their ranks, and they will be out of business.

Some of those outfits are Marxist "Catholics," and the last thing they want to print is something/anything that runs against their LGBTQ-propaganda narrative — even if it is the truth. Yet truth is the currency of the media. Without it, you have nothing to sell, nothing to beg for donations with.

People often ask us, How come the bishops never seem to be accountable for all this evil and destruction of the Faith? The answer to that question is right here: There are dozens and dozens of so-called media (pretend journalists) who insulate them from criticism.

They are little else than stenographers for the bishops — keeping in their good graces, toeing the party line, so when it comes time to put out their hands, some money will pass their way. Some of these outfits are big and well-known, others less so, but the combined damage they cause with their covering up for the hierarchy is inestimable.

Tens of millions, perhaps even hundreds of millions, of souls over the years have been irreparably harmed by this crowd's inaction and refusal to traffic in the truth because of their greed and self-interest. They are complicit cowards, unwilling to endure the attacks that come when you stand for the truth.

And here is the truth: the U.S. hierarchy functions as an organized gay crime syndicate that knows full well the damage these homosexual clerics have inflicted — and continue to inflict — on souls under their care, and they do nothing about it because many of them are part of the entire corrupt enterprise.

Tens of millions of souls have been irreparably harmed by this crowd's inaction.

The great psychological hurdle most Catholics have yet to clear, and likely why they don't want to actually know about all this, is very simple. Scores of bishops don't actually believe the Faith. That is a massive mountain to climb in your mind, but once you reach the peak and look around, everything is suddenly blindingly clear:

      • The bishops' embrace of the Democrats
      • Their virtual silence and certain inaction on abortion
      • Their cover-up of countless cases of homosexual sex abuse
      • Their lies and schemes to shield billions of dollars from victims
      • The list of their crimes and sins knows no end. The entire Church is being reduced to nothing. A collapse never before seen in history, and yet the "Catholic media," even with a document proving this has been deliberate, still sees all of it as unfit to report.

Allow me personally to make an appeal to you: This coming month, with the blessing of the bishops, many of these outfits are going to be sending you emails asking for money. Think about this Vortex — the truth of it, the implications of it — and then ask yourself, Who is truly worthy of my hard-earned money?

An apostolate that has weathered the storm of hatred and attacks because it speaks the truth, or some other outfit that keeps the truth hidden from you because they profit in doing so? Please click on the provided link below and send Church Militant/St. Michael's Media your end-of-year donation.

Read that email if you haven't already, and commit to no longer supporting the establishment that lies and covers up the truth and perverts the Faith. Choices have to be made in life.
