Speaking of evil in the Church — and that's exactly what it is — the treatment of certain priests by multiple bishops is beyond despicable.

Most Catholics who care about such things (which is still way too few) know all about the case of Fr. James Altman — who got very publicly kicked to the curb by his bishop in La Crosse, William Callahan. All Fr. Altman had done was call out the evil of the child-killing, male-on-male-anal-sex political party, and his bishop sidelined him. Blase Cupich, the temporary archbishop of Chicago, was the one who was pulling the strings on that whole scene, just for the record.

But what many Catholics, even good ones, have not yet realized is Bp. William Callahan is also the bishop of Msgr. Jeffrey Burrill, also known as "Msgr. Grindr." As a brief refresher, Msgr. Burrill, the highest-ranking cleric in the United States who was not a bishop, who was also the secretary of the U.S. bishops' conference, was caught red-handed with the homosexual hookup app on his phone — and using it.

And use it he did — according to reports, over a thousand times.

That's a lot of action, even for a gay man. Yet, as soon as the news broke, the hierarchy circled the wagons around the pervert (one of their own) and not only deflected for him, but protected him. Archbishop José Gómez of Los Angeles, in his capacity as president of the U.S. bishops, immediately released a statement assuring Catholics that no minor was among the thousand sexual hookups Burrill had engaged with.

First, how would Gómez know that? The only person he could possibly have gotten that answer from would have been Burrill himself. So did Gómez speak directly with Msgr. Grindr? If so, did he ask him if all these reports were true? If he did, what was the answer?

He apparently asked him if any of the up to 1,000 males he hooked up with were minors. That question would presume that Burrill did, in fact, do what he was accused of. If not, why wouldn't Gómez say in his communiqué that Burrill denies all the charges?

So what are we to think of all this? An active sodomite rising through the ranks while having hundreds and hundreds of gay hookups and, when he's busted, the president of the U.S. bishops comes out in his defense, trying to put the best face on the situation possible — there were no minors!

But then we shift over to Msgr. Grindr's bishop himself, William Callahan, in La Crosse, who is so expert at covering up and deflecting (unless it's Fr. Altman) that he too issued a meaningless statement saying, in sum, they would be investigating.

He, too, notice, never said Burrill denied the charges. Why not? That's two bishops, each issuing his own statement, presumably talking to Burrill, who never even hinted that Burrill denied it. It's because he didn't deny it. And he didn't deny it because it's true. And here is where the rubber hits the road.

The U.S. bishops don't care about their priests being gay. They don't even care about them being gay and active. They do care about them getting exposed, and that's really all they care about.

So when something happens like this, they go into damage control — not caring about the priest's soul, not caring about the scandalous nature of it. They just circle the wagons, issue meaningless statements and then sweep everything they can under the rug so people forget about it as soon as possible, banking on people having short memories.

And this is how crooked political bishops behave: 

That's why Fr. Altman gets blown up in public and also why Msgr. Grindr gets protected and squirreled away.

On Bp. Callahan's idiotic claim that he and his team will "investigate" the underlying charges that Burrill had sex with (or at least attempted to) nearly a thousand males, how stupid do these bishops think you are?

It's coming up on a year since all that news broke. How long does it take to sit the homosexual man down in front of you and ask the question, "Monsignor, yes or no?"

If the answer is yes — and we have never heard the "no" — then what's the holdup? Kick him out of the priesthood. He doesn't belong there. In fact, he should never have been ordained to the priesthood to begin with. And, like was done in the case of Fr. Altman by the same bishop, announce to the world that Burrill is done.

But, see, none of this ever happens. It's not that you offended (according to the bishop); it's that you offended over the wrong issue. Attack the sodomy-loving child killers and you are done. But be a sodomite and we show you mercy.

It's this garbage that faithful Catholics are fed up with. It's the reason Church Militant, in general, and Church Militant Resistance, in particular, are growing. It's why these boot camps are catching on. People are sick to death of corrupt men — weak men — hiding in robes, lying to them, deceiving them, taking their money and enriching themselves.

What else on God's green earth are normal, day-to-day faithful Catholics supposed to think? We are not commanded to check our brains at the door when a bishop speaks — especially a crooked bishop.

In fact, when a crooked bishop speaks or acts especially unjustly, it is demanded of us that we challenge his evil — and it is evil. All Catholics are in service to the Truth, Jesus Christ, and that includes bishops. A departure from the Truth, for any reason, is never allowed by those who claim to follow Christ — not in our personal lives, not in our social relationships, not in politics and certainly not inside the Church.

What the U.S. hierarchy has done in the case of Msgr. Grindr is rotten and evil to the core.

What Callahan has done, specifically, is even worse.

This is just one example of why Catholics are rising up, cutting off their funding of these spiritual terrorists, redirecting their funds, leaving parishes run by weak men who are supported by even weaker men who are bishops.

Here's a little idea. Why not try calling Callahan and asking him what his "investigation" of Msgr. Grindr has revealed so far? Here's the phone number: (608) 788-7700. That's the switchboard. Call and ask to be transferred to the bishop's office and demand (politely, of course) to know what in the Hades is going on.

Why is this priest being protected? Ask him. You have a right to that answer. Keep calling. Pound those phone lines.

In the meantime, remember, this is just one battle in the great war for the soul of the Church.

I'm Michael Voris, coming to you from our weekend Church Militant Resistance Bootcamp in Tampa, Florida, where more than 150 faithful Catholics came to commit themselves to fighting the evil in the Church and its overflow effects in the culture.

Have you ever noticed just how frequently political characters pop up on the scene who are, on the one hand, responsible for the destruction of all that is good and, on the other hand, who are also baptized Catholics?

Each night on our Church Militant Evening News, we report on story after story with this driving theme in the background. In fact, we use the term "fake Catholic" so frequently, before so many names, it's almost becoming part of their official title.

Consider the vast number of these wicked fakes. Justin Trudeau, Boris Johnson, Anthony Kennedy, Joe Biden, Andrew Cuomo, Nancy Pelosi, Blase Cupich, Lisa Murkowski, Susan Collins, John Kerry, Joseph Tobin, Terry McAuliffe, Xavier Becerra, Kathy Hochul, Sonia Sotomayor — the list is endless.

These individuals, fake Catholics all, comprise a virtual vanguard of the Culture of Death.

And they are merely a fraction — a scraping of the surface of a machine responsible for the utter destruction of hundreds of millions of souls, the obliteration of a nation, the wiping out of an entire civilization.

The combination of a morally bankrupt, thoroughly corrupt hierarchy coupled with power-hungry sociopath politicians has led to the current state of affairs. These fake Catholic clerics work in tandem with these fake Catholic politicians to produce evil.

However, one often-overlooked reason (perhaps the most important) in how they have been so successful, is the complacency of other Catholics, ones who allowed them to perdure in their wickedness and destruction. "Catholic enablers" would be a good label for this crowd.

The Texas primary is tomorrow, and one candidate running for governor, trying to pull off a huge upset, is Catholic candidate Don Huffines.

And unlike many other Catholics in the political arena, he not only recognizes that the U.S. hierarchy has played a significant role in the cultural devastation we are experiencing, he also is willing, as a faithful Catholic, to call them out.

This is one politician the bishops would drop dead from fear over if he got elected because imagine a governor of Texas publicly going after the cowardice of the bishops.

One thing a vast majority of Catholics, ordained and lay, have failed to understand, although many are beginning to recognize the truth of it now, is the true nature of everything now playing out in the Church and politics.

Huffines has detected the same root cause of all that ails the Church and the culture, just as Church Militant has. In a time where actual Catholic — authentically Catholic — leadership is needed, the greatly upsetting reality is that, with rare exception, there really isn't any.

That has to change. Catholic voices must become more present, and then dominant, in the public square. And yes, that means politics as well as all the other institutions. There's a reason Satan perverted the hierarchy — so that weak men would flow from that and then take over the institutions and destroy the culture.

We have to now begin a giant pushback, a reversal of all that. It took them a century of intense work and dedication to accomplish their goal, and it will take us at least that amount of time to reverse it.

In our current day, many people would agree with almost every bit of that — everything, in fact, until we get to the "Church" part. That's where things get sticky, shall we say, because of the word "Church."

This is where the great departure occurs and where things get all jammed up — largely owing to pride or ignorance. But the results, the consequences of pride or ignorance, can have eternal consequences.

The Church established by the incarnate Eternal Logos was, and remains, the Catholic Church. It is the one and only Church. All others are frauds, in that they were made by man but claim to have some divine aspect to them on their own.

They don't: never have had, never will have — can't, in fact.

As a result, they have no power to save, and they have no power to pass on salvation because they don't possess it in the first place. And, as the philosophical maxim goes, you can't give what you do not have.

And before some people get their noses all out of joint, let's be clear — none of this is to say anything about the individual souls of any non-Catholics.

Heaven knows there are enough baptized Catholics that will be in trouble when their judgment time arrives because they have rejected the Faith — and, here, we are speaking directly to bishops and clergy.

But, in general terms, we are speaking of what is proposed by God for our belief.

The Catholic faith is the only authentic religion on the planet because the source of it is found in the Son of God. And since it is the only one, all others, by definition, are false. That doesn't mean their adherents are mean or bad or wicked — or anything of the sort.

But it does mean they are wrong. And as long as they remain mired in man-made religion, they will remain mired in error. And, exploring all this deeper, it is the case, necessarily, that either no religion is correct or no more than one — because all religions contradict other religions somewhere along the line.

It is man that groups religions into certain categories — like "Christian," for example.

That category is extremely overly broad. It allows for massive error — meaning the clouding of truth. There can never be such a thing as multiple Christian religions or sets of beliefs. That would be a lie. There is only one Christian religion, and that is Catholicism. All the other belief systems claiming to be Christian are phony.

Again, the individuals who subscribe to those phony so-called Christian religions may be sincere in their beliefs, but that renders them little else than sincerely wrong.

Why is all this important, and important to bring up? First, truth always matters. Second, because truth necessitates obliterating error.

The predominant error in Christianity today is the imaginary Jesus. Imaginary Jesus allows people to create their own Christ — a Christ who accepts their sin and error without question. The real Christ accepts the sinner but never the sin.

Yet today, hundreds of millions of people are roaming the earth thinking (and honestly believing) that Jesus Christ is fine with their porn habit, their promiscuity, their shacking up, their divorce and remarriage (sometimes multiple), their embrace of sodomy, their abortion, their contraception.

You name it, they have fabricated a Christ of their own making and then gotten Him to "bless" and "accept" their sin. Entire belief systems are built around their sin-excusing imaginations, and these belief systems inform every other aspect of their lives, from their relationships to their politics — you name it.

And, before it's all done, you have loads of people operating under the pretend notion that this is a "Christian nation," when little else could be further from the truth.

It's a Christian nation only in name — because there are tens of millions of contradictory "Christs." They have nothing to do with each other because each one resides in the mind of the so-called believer and only in his mind.

This, in fact, is the predominant failing of the political so-called conservative movement. It claims to be Judeo-Christian but ignores that at least the Christian part of that label means absolutely nothing in practice. How could it?

What does the label "Christian" even betoken? Being a follower of Christ? Which Christ?

In a so-called pluralistic society with no real definitions, or definitions so porous that they mean nothing in the end, to label oneself a Christian is completely pointless.

There might be some small overlap in beliefs or politics or worldview with some others who accept the same label, but it takes all of about 20 seconds to realize you don't have anywhere as much in common with other so-called Christians as you think you might because of the label.

The Left is united because of its diversity. And the Right is divided, and therefore totally ineffective, because of its diversity — a diversity that is not yet realized, admitted or spoken of in polite company.

Until so-called Christians (and that includes bad Catholics) are united in Catholic truth, nothing of substance will be accomplished.

You can't deal in half-truths when your enemy is full of lies.

The recent crackdowns and overreaching by governments around the world (you listening, Canada?) are just proof of how far man has strayed from God.

These brutal tactics of beating the garbage out of people with excessive force, trampling them with horses, setting the dogs loose on them, tear-gassing them and a host of other immoral government actions are showing the world just how desperate the Left is becoming.

But cracking down on human rights (which, by the way, come from God, since we are made in His image — the imago Dei), all of this is really just the first step in smashing all rights.

When phony Catholic Justin Trudeau ordered the shutting down of citizens' bank accounts — citizens who disagreed with him over his COVID mandates — it became clear that something far greater was at play here than just a bunch of trucks blocking streets in Ottawa.

The same was, and is, true all over Europe, a continent that has a history of brutality, violence and denial of rights — all in the name of peace and order. 

Cristian Terheș is a member of the European Parliament, representing Romania and the Christian-Democratic National Peasants' Party. He's a human rights advocate as well as a Greek Catholic priest and a longtime follower of Church Militant.

Terheș has asked for and received permission from his bishop to temporarily cease his public ministry as a priest so that he can dedicate himself to human rights activism at the European Parliament.

He still practices his priesthood — his daily prayers, Mass and so forth — in private. But his work is now specifically aimed at preventing an even greater steamrolling of human rights. In addition to the Great Reset, Terheș sees a "great awakening" building in opposition.

The entire world, it seems, is becoming increasingly aware of the great spiritual war — battles breaking out everywhere. And, given the reality that it is a spiritual war, what is especially noteworthy is the generals for the peasants have deserted them.

Not always, but frequently throughout history, the Church has been on the side of the downtrodden, the poor, the peasants, the common man.

Now, in almost every theater of the spiritual war there is, Church leaders have sided against the common man. The hierarchy has placed itself squarely on the wrong side of history, and that will have disastrous consequences.

If the world doesn't end first, all this tyranny will come to an end. It always does.

When the dust has settled, the peasants who will be left will pick their heads up and see the Church as their enemy, leaders who sided with the tyrants and were part of the great oppression, because, speaking in plain terms, the goal of the Great Reset is just that — a great oppression.

This is the great crime of the Francis pontificate. While claiming to be for the poor and the marginalized and the castaways and all that, Francis' Vatican actually sides with the forces crushing those very people.

Whether Pope Francis himself is aware of all this and is acting deliberately with malice, conscious everything he is doing is in concert with these worldly demonic forces, or whether he is just a dupe being used by them because he is malformed in the Faith and crippled in his intellectual and spiritual ability to recognize the truth of the matter, all of that is for God to decide.

What we do know is that this papacy and the Church's present institutional earthly structure are set against the little man — while giving the impression of the exact opposite.

But the day of reckoning always comes — even for popes and Vatican officials. When that day does arrive, they will see that they were on the wrong side of these battles. While that is a sadness — frequently a deep sadness — for faithful, believing Catholics, it must simply be acknowledged and processed, and then the battle must be rejoined.

The only way to win Heaven is to die fighting — and fighting on the correct side.

There's the really wicked gang that actively seeks to corrupt the Church. They don't want to destroy the Church; they want to corrupt it. It's the Faith they want to destroy.

But the Church, in terms of her buildings, institutions, bank accounts, influence and all that, flung all over the world, that is all very useful to a gang of Marxist/modernist prelates looking to advance a one-world order.

The second grouping of bishops is the silent one. They are the most dangerous because the wicked gang could not accomplish what they accomplish without the silent complicity of these men. They are weak, sniveling cowards, and this is why the wicked gang so easily just rips through them — like the proverbial hot knife through butter.

They put up no opposition to them and make up all sorts of excuses for their lack of action and silence. But as we look around the world of the laity, let's be honest — we see the same dynamic.

There are wicked laity who join in the work of the wicked prelates because they get something out of it (either a paycheck or the feeling that if they can change the Church and her teachings, whatever perverted sin they are engaging in will be justified). So these are the so-called "liberal" Catholics who are always joining efforts to fight climate change in the Church, hold social justice seminars, add their muscle power to the flow of illegal immigration and push for women's ordination.

They want the Faith itself destroyed but, like their mitered counterparts, they need a corrupted institutional Church to do so.

But there is also, among the laity, a very sizable group of complicit, silent Catholics. They, like their episcopal counterparts, are the most dangerous because without their silence and complicity, the other group would be stymied.

Evil is always prodding about — pushing, exploring, looking for a weak spot that can be exploited. When it finds no resistance, it forges ahead. You could just as easily transfer this entire mentality to what we see in society regarding COVID. The rolling over of so many citizens is what has given the tyrants permission to mask up and jab children.

Likewise with the election theft. The silence of so many Republican lawmakers in the face of mountains of evidence of the steal is what has propelled this bozo into office.

But when people resist, when they fight back, evil retreats because the good is always mightier than the bad. Truth is the ultimate weapon (as we saw in last year's Virginia governor race and the whole school board issue).

The truth came out about the Democrats' real thoughts regarding parents and their children (and who should educate them and in what), and the Democrats were swept from power in that state, losing not only the governor's mansion but also the lieutenant governorship, the attorney general, the statehouse and barely hanging on to the state Senate (by just one seat).

With the exception of one seat, overnight, Virginia went from all blue to almost entirely red — because people resisted.

This is the case in the Church as well. When people stand up, when they band together, when they fight for the truth, things change. Homosexualist James "Brokeback" Martin has been canceled at a number of events, for example (to name just one). There is no greater force than the Truth, not just conceptually but also personally, individually, spiritually — because the Truth is a Person. Marry yourself to this Person and life is never the same again.

Truth overcomes the Father of Lies. As St. John tells us, speaking of the Person of Truth in terms of light, the light shines on in the darkness, and darkness does not overcome it.

Yes, in our midst, war must be waged inside each of us, as well as in the culture. Truth needs champions in the material world, and this is where so many Catholic laity simply fold. Being a champion requires hard work and effort and dedication and self-sacrifice. Champions are, at their root, heroes, meaning they exercise heroic virtue in the face of great odds — and because they are armed with the Truth and abide in Him, they inherit eternal life.

Think of Catholic giants, folks like Joe Scheidler or Nellie Gray (towering figures in the pro-life movement).

Nellie, who quit a lucrative law practice after Roe v. Wade and reduced herself to a small apartment where, every year, she sat quietly, day after day, plotting the death of Roe v. Wade, developing and leading the March for Life. Or Joseph, who practically invented sidewalk counseling, saving untold babies' lives as well as mothers who would have become killers of their own children. Nothing, and we mean nothing, is achieved in this life without hard work.

And that includes (most especially) toiling to save the Church, defending the integrity of the One True Faith from traitors within.

They are wicked times, but God has chosen us, from all eternity, to be here now. As Gandolf tells Frodo Baggins (in The Lord of the Rings) when Frodo says, "I wish it need not have happened in my time," "So do I, and so do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us."

It is for this reason (to help inspire sleepy Catholics to awaken and fight for Holy Mother Church and teach them how to fight in the material world) that our Church Militant Resistance is holding what we call "Boot Camps" around the country.

The next one is at the end of February in the Tampa, Florida, area.

And on the point of fighting in the material world, this is an obligation. Too often among Catholic laity, we see an attitude of "I'll pray," and they do nothing else. We are not just spiritual beings. We live in a material world and this material world requires physically doing something.

No responsible parent hits his knees and just starts praying when his children come to him hungry. Yet, when it comes to the Church, way too many retreat into piety. And, in many many cases, it's a cover for not wanting to do the really hard work — and it is hard work — the material aspect of the battle, the war to save souls.

You need both prayer and labor, faith and good works. Saint James himself says that in his letter to the first generation of Catholics.

Yet, for way too long, too many Catholics refused to engage, to pick up their weapon and fight for the Church and, of course, the excuses are myriad: I don't have time; I don't know how; I don't really understand enough what's going on; it's not really my cup of tea.

But as our parents used to say to us (accusingly and correctly), if they were passing out million-dollar bills, you'd find a way to get there. Catholics need to fight for Truth. It's what we are baptized for, and the Boot Camp next month is designed specifically to show you how.

The Church is being attacked viciously — perhaps like no other moment in her 2,000 years — and souls are being lost to the lie. As you know, the entire mission of Church Militant is summed up in the daily prayer of this apostolate, "Lord Jesus, use us to save souls."

The United States bishops are betraying the United States — as well as their office of bishop.

Now, faithful Catholics are well aware of the betrayal of the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Faith that has been going on for decades. But what is coming more and more into focus is not just the depth of their treason against the Church, but also the country.

The word has gone out in conservative circles that the bishops and the Church are as much of a problem as the evil in the Democratic Party.

Everywhere the politically astute travel these days, the narrative is the same; the U.S. bishops are betraying the country.

And the "treason narrative" isn't just limited to the question of immigration. It stretches across a panoply of concerns — but treason is how it is being understood and portrayed because treason is what it is.

Of course, traitorous bishops are not exactly shocking news to authentic Catholics. But here's the larger problem: As the news spreads, it damages the ability of faithful Catholics in political circles to evangelize.

We know that various prelates (and the higher up the food chain you go, the more of a problem it is) simply do not believe. They oppose the gospel. They aren't merely indifferent to it or malformed, but actually oppose it openly. They embrace sodomy, they deny (in their actions) the sanctity of life in the womb, they deliberately distort Church teaching regarding illegal immigration and they turn off the spigot of supernatural grace in the sacraments through their COVID tyranny.

Anyone who betrays divine truth won't think twice about betraying their country. The bishops, as a body, have thrown in with the communists of the Democratic Party. 

Hundreds and hundreds of millions of U.S. taxpayer dollars flow through the Catholic bishops' conference to advance illegal immigration.

The major front for this effort is Catholic Charities, described as the travel agent for illegal immigrants.

As Church Militant has reported heavily in the last couple of weeks, leadership in Rome (including the pope himself) has been instrumental in working to promote an environment where fear is the dominant factor — fear of a virus manufactured in a lab of the communist nation funneling billions to the Vatican to look the other way in the face of religious persecution.

Faithful Catholics who are also patriots (and patriots who are also Catholics) have a moral duty to fight for God and country.

In many ways, the tide does seem to be turning. But the work is far from over. Get informed and get involved. It's not only how you save your country, it's always been the way to save your soul — faith and good works.

It's no secret that much of the juice behind the move to the Latin Mass is coming from younger Catholics. Pope Francis has even publicly expressed his puzzlement over it, wondering out loud what would be attracting young people — who had no experience of the Church prior to Vatican II — to begin embracing tradition.

So when he published Traditionis Custodes, essentially slamming traditional-minded Catholics and marginalizing the Latin Mass in what sure looks like an attempt to completely destroy it, young Catholics, in particular, went on the offensive.
