  • Church Militant ‘Nut Jobs’

    TRANSCRIPT

A few days ago, Bill Donohue of the Catholic League took a swipe at Church Militant on EWTN's World Over program with Raymond Arroyo.

To spare you having to listen to any extra of his grating, Biden-like voice unnecessarily, we'll set the context for you. Their discussion was about sex abuse of minors by Catholic clergy and what the latest numbers reveal. Donohue correctly asserted that the numbers have declined precipitously.

For the record, that isn't because the bishops got all holy. It's because they got caught and exposed by secular media — and have had to pay billions of dollars because of it. None of them, of course, have gone to prison or had to pay any personal cost. They just took your money and, after lying and trying to cover it all up, finally paid victims (and, of course, attorneys) more than $4 billion.

The bishops, in short, stopped for no other reason except that it was bad for business — nothing else. Which, of course, raises the question that Donohue and Arroyo never asked: What do we suppose would be the case now had they not been caught or if the Church establishment had been successful in the cover-up?

All that said, nonetheless, they have declined. Donohue is right on that — right in about the most limited sex-abuse-excusing way you can be, but still correct.

He went on to say the secular media wants to keep bringing all this up because they are anti-Catholic and want to keep the narrative going, even though it's largely in the past. He correctly pointed out that sex abuse of minors is far greater, and gets little media attention in other institutions (like education, for example). Sure.

But this is where the old blowhard goes off the rails (because he always goes off the rails — it's his nature). He then accuses Church Militant of doing the same thing (constantly talking about child sex abuse because it "increases our donations"). Donohue is toting the EWTN line and the media empire that that Church of Nice outfit has constructed since Mother Angelica left the scene.

It's not so much what EWTN says (and this includes Arroyo), but what the outfit doesn't say. For example (since Donohue opened the door here, Church Militant is going to walk through it), first, he questions our integrity by saying we do what we do to get donations. Careful, Bill.

This is where the old blowhard goes off the rails.

Take a look at the latest financials publicly available from his lucrative Catholic League outfit — essentially a one-man band. Catholic League took in around $3.5 million in 2019. Of that $3.5 million, Donohue paid himself a cool $1 million. That's great work — if you can get it.

But there's more. The Catholic League itself has $50 million in total net assets — doing absolutely nothing except incurring interest. For what? Is there some grand plan to unleash the hounds on the culture once they reach a certain critical mass of cash? Forty million–plus dollars is a pretty tidy nest egg. And who says nonprofits don't make a profit?

What Catholic League actually does is not really that impressive — even though their financials are. Donohue sits behind his desk, finds some topic of interest related to the Faith in the culture, then writes a roughly one-page statement that is a call to action and then sends it out to his impressive email list and instructs people to sign a petition or call their senator. That's pretty much it.

For that, he pays himself a million dollars. He makes a few media appearances as well, to put on the braggadocio about how awesome he is and his "work," and that's about it.

So it's kind of a wonder, when you look at all that, why Raymond Arroyo and EWTN would have him on. Okay, every now and then, he may accomplish some movement on some issue. Good for him. But Church Militant, for example, just 60 days ago, won a precedent-setting legal case against the city of Baltimore for trampling our First Amendment rights.

We won that case in a convincing manner — one step below the U.S. Supreme Court, at the 4th Circuit Court of Appeals (after winning decisively at the district court level). A Catholic apostolate, reported on far and wide for years now in the secular media, wins a resounding victory in federal court, and Raymond and the gang don't even feel it's worth a mention?

See — it's what EWTN doesn't tell you that you have to be very suspicious of.

For example, in journalism, it's standard practice to reveal to the audience if you have any ties whatsoever to a story you might be covering or someone you might be interviewing. It's okay to do such stories or interviews, but it's seen as unethical not to tell your audience.

What Raymond failed to disclose to his audience and what is problematic (to say the least) about having Donohue on is Raymond is on the board of directors of Donohue's Catholic League.

It's right there on their Catholic League financials as well as on Catholic League's homepage. That's unethical. And it really crosses the line when he lets the president of an outfit he's on the board of trash someone else without giving that "someone else" equal time to respond.

EWTN is a shill operation for the bishops. It has been since Mother's departure. The leadership is "in like Flynn" with the U.S. hierarchy. That's how the network gets so much access to them and, conversely, why Church Militant doesn't have the same access. And before everyone starts saying, "Oh, but look at all the work the network and Arroyo do on Pope Francis" — in short, big deal.

They started doing it when it became popular to pile on Francis. Church Militant went for the jugular going on four years ago, in a Vortex calling for Pope Francis' resignation over his violation of his own protocols regarding sex abuse.

And regarding the recent veiled attack by the Vatican against EWTN — again, so what? Church Militant was actually named in a 2017 article written by Jesuit Antonio Spadaro and personally approved by the pope and the Vatican secretary of state.

The article was entitled "Ecumenism of Hate" and specifically named Church Militant as some source of "evil" for trying to restore Catholic values in the otherwise arid waste of the political world. The pope has personally, publicly recommended that specific article on at least two occasions.

So please forgive us if we are unimpressed by EWTN's self-positioning that they are some "champions" for enduring such blows. Church Militant has been taking these blows since almost the day we were founded.

And no, we aren't sounding our own horn. We are setting the record straight.

And (in that vein) no, Bill, we don't go on about child sex abuse. What we go on about is something you and Raymond barely ever breathe a word about because your bottom line would be immediately impacted: homosexuality within the hierarchy.

Sex abuse of minors is just one (albeit a big one) effect of all that.

But Donohue can't really talk freely about that because that would tick off the bishops who allow him to present himself as a "Catholic" organization.

Donohue traffics freely off the word Catholic and, as we said, quite handsomely as well (to the tune of a million dollars for issuing some statement once every few weeks and blustering away in front of the camera every now and then). Again, great work if you can get it.

But neither he nor EWTN dares touch the third rail of American Catholicism — the complete complicity of the U.S. bishops with the LGBT agenda because of the acceptance of homosexuality within their own ranks.

That's what we talk about, Bill.

Sometimes that drifts into the specific area of sex abuse of minors. Most of the time, it does not. It does drift into the area of seminarians being harassed and groomed, actively gay men being ordained, actively gay men being made bishops, bishops who covered up sex abuse of minors being sued.

That's why Church Militant gets the cold shoulder from the establishment — including EWTN — because we expose what they refuse to.

And, for the record, yes, they know all about the corruption of the U.S. bishops. It's just that they make their livings off sidestepping that corruption. Just look at Bill's paycheck.

Doing a little math, and accounting for taxes at, say, 40%, in total (each month) Bill brings home — net pay — a check for $50,000.

That's likely more than the annual pay of most of his supporters — $50,000 each month. But y'all keep contributing to Catholic League and EWTN, which support this inside-baseball garbage.

Remember, if donations drop, he's got $50 million sitting in the bank. That ought to hold him over for a while.

To demonstrate with just one example (besides refusing to challenge gay bishops) EWTN's in-the-tank-for-the-establishment approach, remember the excellent documentary done by Arcadia Films, Wolf in Sheep's clothing.

Richard and Stephen Payne, a father and son documentary duo, produced that excellent film. Church Militant was happy to be consulted on it (since we had produced some of that same material a few years earlier).

The documentary was about the influence of Saul Alinsky on the culture, and so forth — a pretty big deal. Part of the original, finished version went into some good detail about how the U.S. bishops had been complicit in elevating Alinsky. It was roughly 15 minutes dealing with that aspect, which is a pretty darn important aspect.

But what insiders at EWTN revealed to us is that the leadership of EWTN (Michael Warsaw and Doug Keck) struck that 15 minutes from the film, deliberately concealing the vital information about the U.S. bishops' involvement with Saul Alinsky.

That's the ruling mentality at EWTN, and completely dominates what you are being told (or, rather, not being told).

And that mentality is shot right through the entire network and its subsidiaries like Catholic News Agency and National Catholic Register. They are complicit in their silence about the real horror infecting the Church, the embrace of homosexuality up and down the episcopate as well as the lower clergy and dioceses around the world.

And the people they have on, like Donohue, know never to touch that third rail (lest they fall out of favor).

Interestingly — and to underscore their duplicitous complicity in all this — notice that, first, Raymond never moved on to the elephant-in-the-living-room topic with Bill.

He just let the old blowhard go on with his half-truths, never digging deeper. Of course, why would he? He's on Donohue's board of directors.

But not only did Raymond deftly avoid the topic, he also completely let Donohue off the hook regarding his complicity in all the gay filth of the Church.

They know all about the corruption of the U.S. bishops. It's just that they make their livings off sidestepping that corruption.

Remember back in 2014? Cardinal Dolan, in a supreme act of backstabbing (but I repeat myself), struck a secret deal behind the scenes with New York governor Andrew Cuomo to allow gays into the St. Patrick's Day parade in exchange for Cuomo getting millions of dollars of taxpayer money funneled to New York archdiocesan schools — a deal with the Devil, if there ever was one.

Church Militant was at that event and isolated Dolan like a deer in the headlights for a split moment, asking him why he would do such a thing. He turned around and told his handlers to have the Church Militant crew tossed out of the media area, which happened with haste.

That was an enormous controversy. And where was Bill Donohue on that, the man in Dolan's hip pocket? Well, he supported gays in the parade. Mister chest-pounding Catholic League came out in public support of Dolan's decision.

He, too, was trying to strike a deal with the Devil. His support was contingent on allowing pro-life groups to march in the parade as well. Only when the parade committee (which Dolan headed up) said no, then and only then did Donohue shift into "fighting Catholic mode."

Hey, Bill — no matter what deal you strike, those calling for legalized marriage based on sodomy should never be in a parade honoring a saint.

But, then again, the whole scene put Bill in quite the quandary. He couldn't come out and oppose Dolan's decision (because it would cost him and Catholic League financially), so he created a "back door" to get away from the controversy.

Hey, Raymond ("Mr. News Expert," as Fox News calls you), why didn't you bring any of that up will Bill? It's all public. It's fair game after all. Why didn't you bring up homosexuality within the hierarchy? It's not like it's some earth-shattering topic.

Here's why: Because the nepotism and "in-bed" approach that dominates the Catholic establishment is revolting; it's disgusting. These "professional Catholics," as Pope Benedict labeled them, make your stomach turn.

But when they come out and call us "nut jobs," well, let's just say old Bill isn't the only Irishman in the room.

And speaking of nepotism — lots of people have wondered how Raymond is such a frequent guest on Fox, especially Laura Ingraham's show. Well, easy answer: It isn't talent. It's because he's the godfather to one of her children. That's why.

Again, nothing especially wrong about that. Lots of people in the media have all sorts of connections and relationships to others. What's wrong is to not disclose it. It's a question of credibility and, as we see across the media landscape, there is very little of that precious commodity, including from Fox, EWTN and its hosts, as well as Bill Donohue.

Nice to see they're all under each other's covers. Those three outfits need to be dropped by faithful Catholics. They're compromised through and through.

Just exactly who are the "nut jobs" here?

  • The Left’s ‘Integrity’

    TRANSCRIPT

It needs to be said — the Marxist, lefty media have more integrity than most Catholic so-called media.

"Why?" you ask. Because the Left, to borrow from Abp. Sheen (one of our Church Militant heroes), have all zeal, even if they have no truth.

The Marxists work toward a common goal, an agenda larger than themselves. They are driven by their worldview and will sacrifice to achieve it. A huge portion of the Catholic (again, so-called) media work not for a global agenda but rather to ensure self-comfort. It really does boil down to a question of integrity.

It is, in fact, precisely the greed and self-centeredness of these "professional Catholics" of the media world that has allowed the Marxists — or, in the Church, modernists — to succeed so far beyond their imaginings.

Let's look, for example, at the activity of these Catholic so-called journalists in the Church of Nice as it relates to Fr. James Martin. Here is a man who refuses to reveal his own sexuality (which is a sort-of admission) as he tromps around the Church extolling gay sex and calling the disordered passion "a gift" — and saying that God is the author of this disorder. "Being gay isn't a sin. It's the way that God made some people," he says. They were born that way, he says (which, of course, means they would have been conceived that way).

Sure, the Catholic notables on the Right in the world of social media and a certain television network gone awry will, from time to time, condemn the homosexualist Jesuit's ramblings. But see, that's where it stops. The underlying support mechanism within the hierarchy for this celebrated dissident is allowed to go on unchallenged, unremarked on and, therefore, advancing his evil.

Faithful Catholics are sick and tired of hearing about Pope Francis this and Pope Francis that. They've already written him off, even as he hails down recriminations against them. But the ecclesiastical swamp of modernism from which he arose — that story never gets reported on.

And it doesn't get reported on because that would mean naming names of the same bishops who sit on their boards, give them permission to speak at conferences, even grant them interviews — interviews which keep the facade propped up that the media outfit is some reliable source of information, with its finger on the pulse.

The Church in America is dying.

Evil Jimmy has been allowed to persist in the polluting of Catholic minds, especially young Catholic minds, including thousands of high school students every summer at their Jesuit High School Camps, because various bishops and cardinals back him. So where are the stories? Where are the reports? Where are the investigations of these wicked enablers? Not evil Jimmy (like the pope; the lukewarm, somewhat-faithful Catholic has already taken all that into account). It's baked in. But the bishops, the ones who keep silent about him, why are they not challenged in editorials, for example?

Why doesn't EWTN or Relevant Radio, St. Anthony Messenger or Our Sunday Visitor, for example, go after these prelates, publicly and loudly and often? Why don't other so-called Catholic so-called journalists pick up the standard here and go after these loser bishops? And losers is exactly what they are.

In fact, Hell-bound is a better descriptor, certainly from an accuracy standpoint. What other destiny would an unrepentant prelate have who positions himself as an enemy of Christ?

Why do EWTN and Relevant Radio, for example, feel absolutely no responsibility to warn their listeners of the evil, the malice present in the hierarchy? Could it be that many of those hierarchs are sitting on their boards?

If that's the motive for the establishment media (and until they answer what their motive is for keeping silent, it's fair game to speculate), then that makes their intent purely self-comfort.

That is a massive lack of integrity.

And even further down the right side of the spectrum, there are the so-called traditionalists, whose idolization of the Latin Mass blinds them to the abuses within that community. Here, too, the selfishness of self-comfort is the goal by the so-called media types and social media personalities that haunt that corner of the internet. If there's a quick buck to be made through donations from wealthy schismatics or the pandering of a book or a podcast, count on them to be there, ignoring the dark underbelly of this movement with way too many ties to things like Naziism, as well as misogyny.

Again, so-called Catholic media are outshined in level of integrity by the enemies of Our Blessed Lord. In fact, a fair amount of what passes for Catholic media is little else than self-indulgent, get-rich-quick schemes — and they keep the engines humming.

Church Militant is relatively new to the scene compared to some of the old-timers, the well-ensconced, established crowd. The job of a media outfit is to hold those in the actual establishment accountable to the people they supposedly serve. It's to create pressure and bring pressure to bear on areas where transparency is needed, so that truth may prevail.

But no one in the Catholic media world — certainly none of the establishment ones — really do that, nor have they ever done it, and as long as they are able to keep fooling you, they never will.

Why should they? It's an easy life, a comfortable life — and so it shall remain as long as they never rock the boat. Having spent decades in the belly of the beast of secular media, I can testify firsthand that a different calculus is at work there — or, at the very least, an additional calculus.

Many of the secular-media types are all about effecting change in the culture, in bringing about their vision (however wrong it is) of how the world should be.

And they bust their humps in the process. Long days, in-depth discussions about how to bring all this about — almost strategy sessions. We see the end result in the reporting.

And people can go on all they want about how many people don't trust the media, but every single weeknight, for a mere 30 minutes, six times the number of Americans tune in to watch one of the big three networks' national news broadcasts as do Americans who tune in to FOX, CNN and MSNBC combined over not just 30 minutes, but five hours.

The Catholic establishment-media machine cannot effect change.

    That arithmetic is flooring.

The three cable giants would need one single viewer to watch all their combined programming for five hours a night — six nights in a row — to equal what the three major networks present to just one single viewer in just one 30 minute window any given weeknight.

It's more than just dollars for the grunts who work in giant news media. The executives and stars pull down enormous profit and pay, but they could not do that without the enormous dedication to a cause that they elicit from those who work below them. The giant media see themselves as able to affect change, and they work toward that end. It's what makes them tick. It's what they get up for in the morning.

But over in the Catholic media world, well, what are they working for? It sure isn't to effect change. It's to serve the machine so as to keep their rears warm and their bellies well-fed.

It really does come down to integrity as a central question.

The Catholic establishment-media machine cannot effect change while also remaining warm and well-fed. But for decades, it's tried to present itself as that. It's not, not even close.

Like the institution it covers up for, Catholic media lie to their readers, their listeners and their viewers. They traffic in truth only to a point.  After that, it's back to the warmth and security of the bishops' skirts. The entirety of Catholic, Inc., is set up with one thing in mind — self-protection and self-comfort. But the model is becoming unsustainable as fewer and fewer Catholics practice the Faith, and fewer still convert to it.

The dinosaur Church will survive this generation of prelates and self-serving professional Catholics. There are still enough fumes in the tank for that. But after that, when the Dolans and DiNardos and Vignerons and Cupichs and Tobins are either drooling themselves or dead, there won't be much of a need for a Catholic establishment media.

Parasites can't live after the host dies.

Not counting immigrants (most of whom are illegal), the Church in the United States has fallen by over one-third in its membership in roughly 20 years. Indeed, immigration is the only thing that is propping up the numbers and, even there, it's fool's gold. Eighteen years ago, including immigration (again mostly illegal), one in every four Americans was Catholic. Today, it's one out of every five.

If you exclude immigration numbers, it's one out of every eight. And, in reality, immigration numbers should be excluded because, unlike European-Catholic immigrants who held onto the faith for generations, close to half of Hispanic Catholics leave the Church in the first generation of being here. The Church in America is dying, and it's dying for the same reason the Church has died in various times and places all over the world — lack of fidelity.

Which is why the relatively small handful of mostly laity in the Catholic media world will burden a mighty judgment when their day comes. They could have, perhaps, slowed or even prevented this from happening. But they made and (here's the point) still make the conscious decision to sponge off the system for their own self-comfort. Refusing to face the facts or tell you the facts, the hard truths of what's really going on, that is what will be inscribed across the headstones of Catholic media. In another subtext, they died from a lack of integrity.

It seems fitting to leave you with this quote from Abp. Sheen: "It is a characteristic of any decaying civilization that the great masses of the people are unconscious of the tragedy. Humanity in a crisis is generally insensitive to the gravity of the times in which it lives." If only those who could have told them did.

For if souls are not saved, nothing is.

  • Matchbook Heroes

    TRANSCRIPT

Father John Hardon, a man on his way to sainthood, once said, paraphrasing, that only heroic Catholics will make it to Heaven these days, given the condition of the world. Heroic. Heroic dads and moms. Heroic families. Living saints.

The attacks of the enemy are so strong, so virulent, that most cannot withstand them and will be damned. When you look around the Church and see the huge number who have already sacrificed the Faith for worldly pleasure, it already comes into sharp focus.

A great thinning of the ranks has happened and an even greater one is coming, because the condition of the world necessitates such a thing happening. The Church Herself is undergoing a great persecution — a great end of the age conflagration — and Catholics who are still standing, however wobbly, better get with the program, fast.

One does not simply become a hero. A person is pre-conditioned to be a hero and to act accordingly through various life experiences and great internal struggle resulting in a sacrificial frame of mind. A hero in the first order, essentially by definition, is the one whose primary concern is the other. They sacrifice themselves for the good of another.

Now, almost everyone does this here and there, in small ways, every now and then under certain circumstances. While that's good, it should not lull someone into a wrong self-perception. Being a hero really means conquering of self, for the good of the other. This is spiritual heroism. Defeating Satan within you, on your own personal battlefield, so that you can then help save others.

Lots of people will dive into icy waters to rescue a doggie, or run into a burning building to save a child — that's natural heroism, and of course is to be commended. But would those same people give up their contraception, or their pornography and masturbation habit? Would they battle and work to defeat the thoughts of lust or anger they hold deep within themselves in order to enslave the devil within, instead of being ensnared by him?

They ultimately do this for the good of God, for the advancement of the kingdom. The old saying, "you cannot give what you do not have," is worth thinking of here. While a person may be a hero in the natural order — and few are, relatively speaking — authentic heroism is demonstrated in the supernatural realm, where the results are eternal, not just temporal.

A person cannot give supernatural heroism to others when he does not possess it himself. He may have many fine admirable natural qualities — even various atheists have as much — but good natural qualities do not merit Heaven. Supernatural heroism merits heaven — nothing less.

When Our Blessed Lord was on Earth in His earthly ministry, He said the beautiful line about having come to bring fire to the Earth and how much He longed that it was already ablaze. The fire is His, but individuals in the Church are the little matchsticks He desires to use to light the fire and burn down the kingdom of Satan.

We will all be judged on how much we presented ourselves to Him to be used by Him to build the conflagration, to ignite the fire and set the world alight. Matchbook heroes — that is what we are called to be, every day, to advance the truth of the Church.

Spiritual arson is the work of faithful Catholics — to pray and cry to be a great saint, to be used to save souls, to become heroes in the war against the infernal. You see, you do not fight fire with fire, you fight fire with Heavenly fire.

    Be a hero.

    TRANSCRIPT

So the American bishops — emphasis on "American" much more than bishops — just wrapped up one of their usual meetings last week, and sitting atop their list of pressing concerns for the salvation of souls and preventing anyone from being eternally damned for willfully engaging in mortal sin and embracing it for their lives as an actual "good" — immigration.

Yep, haven't you heard? This is the single issue around which revolves the entire question of your eternal fate.

Of course, it didn't become that until Donald Trump became president, much to the chagrin of most of the U.S. bishops who stay silent on abortion and all things gay (raising the legitimate question of course about their own homosexuality).

Yep, what the Democrat-loving bleeding heart bishops think is more important than life and death issues is immigration. Could it have anything to do with the fact that their governance has resulted in the walking away from the Church of tens of millions of Catholics and the paying out of going on $4 billion for their gay priest buddies raping altar boys?

At what point do these men have to accept responsibility for their miserable destructive actions? When Fr. Pablo Straub — a saint of man, God rest his soul — was visiting with us one day at my house in the evening, I asked him why were things so screwy in the Church.

He said to me, with clenched fist in the air and veins popping from his neck, "It's those bishops!" His intensity knocked me back for a moment, but it turns out he was right. He was right then and he was right now.

To think that, with a moral meltdown going on in the Church, with so many priests and bishops embracing and advancing the evil of homosexual relations, that somewhere on their agenda would be to address things that actually cause people to go to Hell when they die.

But, oh yeah, Bishop Barron is prowling around there keeping front and center that no one really goes to Hell — as an aside, he better hope he's right. Since no one really goes to Hell anymore — quick, someone dash a memo off to the Mother of God as well as Her Son for that fact and correct them, since no one is really ever damned — then we are now free to build the city of God here on earth.

And of course, since we don't want to ever offend anyone — except faithful Catholics — we need make no reference at all to supernatural realities when talking about earthly Heaven. It's all about Heaven on earth and a gay-loving, no borders, globalist, ecumenical church financed by your tax dollars being used to bring it all into reality. These men are drunk and blind — drunk on their own arrogance and blind to the rain of destruction they have brought down on the heads of Catholic families for generations now.

So concerned are they with their earthly kingdom that a discussion actually broke out about — get this — using canon law against Catholic politicians who support Trump's immigration policies. And for the record, Your Excellencies, they aren't Trump policies. They are Obama's policies that Trump is enforcing — as he is bound to do, according to the Constitution.

But consider that for a moment. Some of these men would actually entertain the notion of using canon law against Catholic lawmakers over the issue of immigration while at the same time never having implemented canon law against other Catholic lawmakers who commit sacrilege by receiving Holy Communion while voting for killing pre-born children.

Drunk and blind. How much worse could it get?

  • Tyrant Speech

    TRANSCRIPT

The U.S. bishops wrapped up their semi-annual meeting last week in beautiful and expensive Ft. Lauderdale — which of course raises the question, how come they never have their meetings in Toledo or Topeka or Bismarck?

I'm betting those venues are a lot cheaper — just saying. We could say more, much more, but won't, for now. Anyway, as bishop after bishop, especially the prominent ones — which means the modernist crowd — dominated the microphone and went on and on, one particular comment was a little head and shoulders above the crowd.

And no, it wasn't from a prelate correctly assessing the damage all his brother bishops had done to the Church and people's faith and calling for a complete and public confession and mass resignations for negligence. No, it was the speech of tyranny, of silencing opposition, under the guise of "calling for civility," a not uncommon tactic from the Left.

Listen to these remarks from pro-sodomy Cdl. Blase Cupich of Chicago:

The arrogance dripping from him during that sanctimonious speech is noteworthy. Who does he think he is to decide what is civil and what is not? And in America, Your Eminence, free speech is protected.

You don't get to manage people's speech or encourage an environment where elites get to sit back and decide who gets to speak and what they get to say based on your beginning to rule their speech as civil.

Second point here — speech can be certainly civil and still be evil, as His Eminence knows a thing or four about. He has civilly said that men who practice sodomy together and are unrepentant of their evil actions should be able to receive Holy Communion. He's not alone in that regard, but he is out in front of the pack, practically speaking.

Again — civil, polite discourse. Cocktail mixers whispering, opera applause, genteel waves and everything very polished and posh and polite — in short, civil, but still evil.

Cardinal Edwin O'Brien, when he was rector of New York's St. Joseph's Seminary in Yonkers back in the 1980s, was always nagging seminarians about having their shoes polished and their cufflinks on. The clergy must always look civil and presentable was the message.

Meanwhile, turns out we have come to discover that Cardinal Cufflinks was one of the driving forces behind the whole homosexual clergy scandal in the New York chancery — Yep, stay civil, civil appearing, civil speaking. At all times, remain civil so you can fool people into thinking you are reasonable and, therefore, what you're doing to the Church is acceptable.

Many of the world's tyrants appeared to be and spoke in civil terms until they no longer had to. The civility they pushed was not born of a genuine respect for their fellow man but was merely a vehicle to sneak in their evil under the cover of being, well, civil.

Once being civil had gained them every inch it could yield them, then the facade was dropped and reality was revealed. Cupich and his lot do not like Catholic faithful talking about their evils because the more the talk is had, the more clear it all becomes. These men have no supernatural faith. They see and operate the Church as a mechanism, an institution to bring about social change which reflects their own personal view of an earthly kingdom.

They do not love the Church, else they would not treat with such contempt — expressed civilly of course — faithful Catholics. A powerful, robust, supernatural Catholic Church is an object of hatred for them. It calls man to a higher more perfect self-understanding, draws him out of the muck of sin. They don't really believe in sin, not in a classical Catholic sense or understanding.

Their seminaries don't teach it, they won't allow their priests to preach it. The only sin(s) for this lot are a country trying to control its borders, climate change and the death penalty. The real sins — child murder, sodomy, opposition to Church teaching, sacrilegious Holy Communions — all of these are to be disregarded as relics of some bygone era where we were prudish and nowhere near as sophisticated as we have now become.

It will be a lingering mystery for historians why so many Catholics were so taken in by all their "civil" chatter when the Church was at the same time being destroyed by this lot.

Not all tyrant speech is loud wild podium-pounding screaming and thumping. Sometimes, oftentimes, tyrant speech is merely civil, with threats and innuendos laced throughout, yet still delivered in melodic tones of civility.

But, whether they are screaming and dramatic or very scholarly looking, a tyrant is still a tyrant. And, when it comes to tyrants in robes, it's even more deceptive. This "let's dialogue" crowd of clerics is composed of liars and deceivers.

They always talk about "dialoguing," but they rebuff every attempt to — and this includes Cupich. They have ascended the rank and used the machinery of the Church to gain a platform. Having attained that platform, they now use it to hurl down stones at authentic Catholics. And, as the authentic Catholic crowd screams and cries from being pelted, the high and mighty clerics then accuse them of being "uncivil." It's actually laughable if it weren't so pathetic.

These tyrants — and they are tyrants because of how they treat those in their care — inflict spiritual pain on their subjects. When the subjects call for mercy, they say they need to stop shouting and be more civil.

    That's how tyrants speak.

    TRANSCRIPT

This episode is going to get a lot of people's noses out of joint — to which we say: too bad. Here's the thrust: Why aren't the supposedly "orthodox" bishops opening their mouths publicly and loudly about the homoheresy in the Church?

Seems like orthodoxy means something significantly more than just saying and preaching good stuff. It also includes condemning the evil stuff. And there is certainly no shortage of evil stuff in the Church in need of public condemnation.

So allow us to frame the topic. When a bishop who has a little fan club sits silently on the sidelines in the face of, for example, the homoheresy juggernaut in the Church, just exactly how and why is he deserving of a fan club? Because he talks a good game when it comes to say, reverent liturgy? Because he is doing something behind the scenes quietly to straighten up his seminary? Because he is a popular internet personality and makes the rounds at various conferences to much adulation and swooning from sycophants?

Something is wrong — warped, actually — with the allowance given to bishops who have at least some touchstone to some kind of orthodoxy and yet do nothing publicly to battle the very public homoheresy in the Church.

Why the silence? The bishop supporters of sodomy certainly don't stay silent. In fact, they have diarrhea of the mouth when it comes to the topic. It doesn't seem out of sorts or disproportionate at all for the supposedly "good" bishops to say something every now and then. Yet they don't.

And let's get down to brass tacks here, shall we? Why does Bp. Barron get a pass on not publicly confronting the evil of sodomy being pushed aggressively by Fr. James Martin and the gay cabal in the Church? Why do his supporters who, in adoration before the Barron mystique of supposed intellectual prowess and savoir faire, not stop their applause for a moment and ask themselves, "Why does he say nothing about this homoheresy?"

The homo-heretics certainly say a lot, yet our hero strangely remains moot on this. Logical question, right? What could possibly be the motive for his silence?

And how about Abp. Sample in Portland, a much-beloved prelate for his advancing of the traditional Latin Mass?

Why would he not be willing to lay it on the line and get off the sidelines to condemn Martin's evil? Does he not think there are people in his archdiocese who are not having to deal with the carnage being created by the homoheretics?

And how about Bp. Olmsted in Phoenix, another "good" bishop who can't seem to find his voice in all this tumult. Or Bp. Conley in Lincoln, Nebraska, or Bp. Morlino in Madison, Wisconsin?

What is it about the current condition of the Church that compels these men, as well as others, to hold their tongues? Is there some intoxication liquid that has dulled their intellects and made them think that if they just keep saying nice, holy, reverent things that Fr. Martin and his evil will just wither away?

Why on earth would any of these men think that? Or is it some other reason not immediately apparent? Do any of these men, or others, have friendships that stretch back to their seminary days in the 1960–1980s with any of the homoheretic crowd that keeps their mouths shut out of a sense of misplaced loyalty or not wanting to cause consternation in the bishops' "boys club" atmosphere?

Something has got to explain their refusal to step up and fight this filth. And faithful Catholics — until they actually do stand up and put their necks on the line and commit — it's hard to see how we can applaud them as "good."

In fact, their silence has been a major contributor to all this evil. Evil pushes hard until it is pushed back against. The homoheretics are bullies, and the only way to beat a bully is to smack him right in the face. Yet they refuse to do so.

How many of all these men — and there are many more than just the ones we named — fail to realize that their sheep — the families and friends of their sheep — are falling prey to this vicious gay "theology"?

Do they not think they have a duty to step up and condemn the most virulent heresy of our day? If not, why not? Silence is unacceptable.

Perhaps they are concerned they will suffer, in an ecclesiastical fashion, the fate that many of us laity have suffered: Banishment from the public square of the Church, ridicule, lies, verbal abuse, etc. Is that it? Some cockeyed notion that if you open your mouths the hammer will come down and you will be removed or replaced, thus exposing your sheep to a "bad" bishop replacement?

Well, if that's the thinking, it's wrong. For a bishop to keep silence in the face of this rampant evil already makes him a "bad" bishop. The fact that he's not as bad as one of the others doesn't excuse the silence.

There's too much politics, too much jockeying, too much chess strategizing (thinking 73 moves ahead) in the Church these days among the supposedly "good, orthodox" bishop crowd.

Do any of these people's admirers not think they have a duty to just come right out with it and let the chips fall where they may?

Do the men themselves who have somehow rationalized their silence as a "good thing" not have sufficient faith that whatever happens to them for defending Our Lord and the truth of the Faith is their witness to the truth and glory of the Faith?

Why is it that lay people, with more to lose in this world, are willing and able to lay it all on the line, and yet the leaders themselves are always holding back, keeping something for themselves? That's uncharitable and unjust — and a massive lack of integrity.

They'll talk about various themes and topics to help restore the Church and ask the laity to follow that advice and instruction — which is almost always certainly good — but when it comes to a personal cost, they stop.

They may not want to offend fellow bishop friends who are gay, they may have a homosexual past they don't want exposed, or maybe they're afraid they will tick off the wrong prelate and their ecclesiastical careers will come to a screeching halt — or possibly a hundred other reasons, none of which is sufficient reason to keep their silence.

The troops, the faithful laity are out here battling this evil at great personal cost of finances, reputation and so forth. Yet there sit the leaders safely out of the line of fire, turning up the volume on their Gregorian chants and Pontifical High Masses and appearances on YouTube trying to appear all cool and relevant and reasonable, or thinking that some hundred-year plan to "fix" the seminaries will solve everything.

They need to get off their bishop thrones and get down here in the muck with the faithful and start speaking publicly — and yes, being lambasted as homophobes and haters in the secular media and attacked left, right and center for being intolerant and lacking prudence and all that usual idiocy.

Excuse me, Your Excellencies, the color of your office as bishop is red for a reason. You must lay down your life for the sheep, to the point of physically spilling your own blood if necessary. But you won't even risk your reputations, seeking to hide behind a facade of "orthodoxy" as your sheep are being eaten alive.

Orthodoxy means right teaching, and you don't get to pick and choose what part of the teaching you can comfortably push and what part you can avoid because it costs you. Get in the game, and come to the defense of the faithful few who are fighting.

A few years after you are all dead, no one will remember you because you did nothing to fight this monstrous evil. Your YouTube hits and your pushing of Latin will amount to nothing if you let souls perish on your watch.

Be fathers, and stop being politicians.

  • Hell’s Gonna Be Crowded

    TRANSCRIPT

So we haven't mentioned this directly in a while, but the truth is a hard thing to keep suppressed. Bishop Robert Barron's spiritually destructive position that we have a reasonable hope that all men are saved must continually be examined in light of new information.

So, let's look at some new information, shall we? A record percentage of Americans now believe that gay and lesbian relations, pornography and polygamy are morally acceptable. This according to the Gallup Polling Agency in its annual "Values and Beliefs" survey released last week, which began in 2001 and surveys Americans' attitudes on a host of issues.

A record high 67 percent of American adults believe that gay and lesbian relations are morally acceptable, up from last year's high of 63 percent. Other record-setting attitudes were also revealed.

Seventy-six percent now hold divorce is morally acceptable. Up from 73 percent last year.

Forty-three percent say pornography is morally acceptable. Up from 36 percent last year.

Nineteen percent say polygamy is morally acceptable. Up from 17 percent last year.

On the pornography front specifically, 67 percent of men aged 18 to 49 this year say pornography is morally acceptable, a 14-point increase from last year. The abortion question remains essentially neutral and unchanged, as it has for decades. Forty-eight percent opposed. Forty-three percent supportive.

So, let's go back now to Bp. Barron's anti-Catholic, deeply held, promoted and constantly preached inanity that we have a reasonable hope that all men are saved. Really? All men? Seriously? So the two-thirds of men in the U.S. under 50 who routinely participate in pornography and masturbation — because that's the point of pornography — there is a reasonable hope that they are saved?

Based on what exactly, Bishop? Some stupid theological theory which relies on a third and fourth-century heresy and brought back to life again by a Protestant theologian? See, clerics and prelates like Bp. Barron — and there are many others like him who are happy to believe this idiocy and whistle past the graveyard — they like to make their preaching and presentations sound all "reasonable" and easy to digest and non-confrontational. In short, popular.

But they are lying to you when they use this approach. They don't care about you or the truth. They care about their own popularity. So they dress up the Faith as reasonable sounding because they don't want to offend anyone. And they promote themselves and their anti-tradition phony Catholicism, no matter how warm and friendly it might sound in other areas.

It only takes one drop of poison to kill, even if it is in a glass of nice warm milk. So let's get down to brass tacks here, shall we? Bishop Barron believes there is a reasonable hope all men are saved.

Apparently, that applies to the three-fourths of the U.S. population that believes cheating on your spouse, divorcing them and abandoning your vows — not to mention your children — just for the sake of sexual satisfaction with someone other than your spouse.

That's what the Gallup poll reveals. Three out of every four Americans is fine with divorce and remarriage. Reasonable hope? Seriously? Reasonable hope that those who leave their spouse and shack up with another are going to be admitted into the Beatific Vision?

How about the gay sex lovers? Two out of three are down with sodomy, so I guess no need to worry about them either, huh Bishop? After all, we have your reasonable hope. Your reasonable hope that in the end denies the justice of God and the free will of man. Heck, you might as well break your vows while the rest of the country is at it. They support you in it, and you'll go to Heaven anyway because we have a reasonable hope all men are saved.

For that matter, why even become Catholic or stay Catholic? Everyone goes to Heaven, so what the Hell, there is no real Hell with humans in it, right Bishop? Just some theoretical possibility.

To that point, Judas Iscariot is in Hell. Bishop Barron is fond of using the throwaway line that the Church has never declared anyone is in Hell. First, Our Blessed Lord did. He also said other human beings would be damned.

But in the case of Judas, it is wrong and deceptive to pretend the Church has never said he's not burning Hell. Here is what the Council of Trent Catechism says of Judas, in two separate instances:

"Such certainly was the condition of Judas, who, repenting, hanged himself, and thus lost soul and body."

And of bad and misleading priests and bishops, "but also end in this, that they derive no other fruit from their priesthood than was derived by Judas from the Apostleship, which only brought him everlasting destruction."

That doesn't sound like we have a reasonable hope that all men are saved. It also sounds like a good number of the ordained will end up damned for spreading error and false teaching and confusion. Hint, hint.

And in the Liturgy for Holy Thursday from the Old Rite, the prayer during Mass reads: "O God, from whom Judas receive the punishment of his guilt, and the thief received the reward of his confession, grant us the effect of your clemency."

So much for all men being saved. This idiocy about no one being damned is fuel for the homoheresy in the Church. And, while Bishop Barron has not — to our knowledge — come out and publicly supported it directly, by giving the impression in people's minds that everyone is saved and no one goes to Hell, he provides a powerful underpinning for the arguments of the homo-heretics.

In fact, why hasn't Bp. Barron come out and publicly condemned the false teachings and lies of Fr. Martin and his wicked cabal. Is he afraid he will lose some valuable personal capital?

Is he aware that the moment he would speak in condemning terms of the homoheresy dominating the Church right now, people would correctly throw back in his face his own spiritual poison that we have a reasonable hope that all men are saved, so why does it matter if these men are sodomizing each other, Bishop?

Yeah, got to keep current on all this.

Bishop Barron is wrong and deceiving millions with this reasonable hope garbage. And he's fueling the homoheresy — perhaps intentionally, perhaps not. But he's doing it nonetheless.

All you priests and bishops with zippers over your mouths, dwell on that line from the Council of Trent about how meaningless and fruitless your priesthoods will be when you are burning in the fires of Hell.

  • Catholic and Gay?

    TRANSCRIPT

A heads up before we begin: Parents may want to view this episode before allowing their children, owing to the topic. Tonight at 7 p.m. ET is our live-streaming webinar we are calling "Catholic and Gay?"

We are holding this webinar specifically to debunk all the homoheresy propaganda being peddled by the likes of Fr. James Martin and the whole clerical, pro-gay crowd in the Church. If you look at any studies — usually done for political research, but still helpful for understanding conditions in the Church — you will find that the vast majority of Catholics in the U.S. and throughout the West are extremely supportive of gay sex.

And we are going to be direct about this topic because it is precisely through being indirect that the homoheresy gang has been able to make such inroads and corrupt the minds and souls of so many Catholics. Martin and company, for example, are always presenting the case that this is about love and equality and so forth, thus pushing the propaganda themes of the political Left.

The Church does not, and has never, had any problem with love and deep friendship between members of the same sex. The Church event names some of those friendships in the first eucharistic prayer of the Mass. What the Church does have a problem with is using the virtue of friendship as a pretext for hopping into bed with each other and committing unnatural sexual acts and then labeling those mortal sins "love."

People do not have to reach sexual satisfaction, repeatedly, with each other to express their love and friendship. But that is what the entire movement is about: sexual satisfaction. It is not about love and abiding friendship. Whenever you see that flag with the co-opted rainbow, think to yourself: that means those people are telling me they sodomize each other.

Because that's what it means and that's all it means. People don't fly flags to say they love each other. They fly flags to express their support for a cause. And the cause here is to have illicit immoral sex protected by law and shoved down the throats of anyone who disagrees with it — especially those who disagree on moral grounds.

Church Militant doesn't hate gays. The Catholic Church doesn't hate gays. We are concerned for their immortal souls — their eternal lives — and because of that, we speak up — something bishops and priests should be doing daily but don't. As we've covered many times before, one reason they keep silent is certainly because many of them, including bishops, are homosexual themselves. Today's leading bishops were in seminary and in formation — which was really quite often malformation — at a time when homosexual men ran the roost in seminaries and screened out good, orthodox men and loaded up the classes with gay men.

A number of these gay men, too many, went on to rape altar boys, while their gay-sympathizing bishops concocted an elaborate cover-up scheme, which has now cost the Church going on four billion dollars, a loss of her moral authority and made her essentially irrelevant.

We bring this up again to point out the extreme danger that this homoheresy poses for the Church. There are simply too many homosexual men with too much influence in the Church. It's one reason perhaps that Pope Francis came out and said they shouldn't be in seminary, repeating what the Church has taught forever.

Martin and the rest of the gay, sex-loving-and-promoting gang of clerics want to use the Church to normalize gay sex — period. And they are corrupting and debasing the Church's teaching and presenting distorted versions of it to club faithful Catholics over the head and demonize them and accuse them of having mental disorders in order to silence them.

Gay men do not belong in the priesthood — period. This is a perennial practice of the Church. It's just that loads of gay men who slipped past have now achieved influential positions and ignore the Church's practice of refusing admittance of homosexual men to seminary.

When the Church repeated this caution for the umpteenth time back in 2005, New York Cdl. Timothy Dolan, who was just a bishop at the time, said publicly that he wasn't going to follow the directive because he decided it didn't apply to all gay men. Small surprise that 10 years later he was the main promoter of gays in the St. Patrick's Day Parade and allows the homomafia to run his archdiocese, while he's paying out tens of millions of dollars for gay priests who sodomized hundreds of altar boys.

But his sad story is repeated time and time again, all over the country, all over the West, because of the predominance of homosexual men in the clergy — the same men who are either silent or expressly out in front supporting the homoheresy — the homoheresy that Church Militant is going to dismantle point by point tonight at 7 p.m. ET.

Please tell your friends about it through every means you have available and tune in tonight. Just come to ChurchMilitant.com, and it will be right here on our front page.

This has to stop, and these evil men and their wicked perversions of the Faith must be called out.
