Pastor Bill Fitzgerald's October 18, 2026 message at Church of Abundant Life in Harvey, LA. From Proverbs 11:30, "The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life, and he who wins souls is wise," he shows how the righteousness Jesus gives us bears fruit that draws others to Him. Drawing on a lifetime of fishing stories, he teaches that winning souls takes the right technique, the right lures, the right vessel and the right propulsion: knowing God's Word, reaching each person where they are, resting in Jesus, and being driven by the Holy Spirit. He closes by calling the church to ask God for divine appointments and to share the hope of the gospel in love.

Key scriptures: Proverbs 11:30; fishers of men (Matthew 4:19); the thief on the cross (Luke 23:42-43); trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord (Isaiah 61:3); Matthew 28:19-20; 2 Timothy 4:5; Acts 1:8; 1 Corinthians 9:22; Romans 10:14

Pastor Bill Fitzgerald's October 4, 2026 message at Church of Abundant Life in Harvey, LA. From Acts 16 he walks through Paul and Silas in Philippi: the fortune-telling spirit, the arrest, the inner prison, and the midnight prayer and praise that shook the prison doors open. He closes by calling the church to come and cast every care on the Lord.
