CHURCH on SermonAudio

This Bible study examines the early church's growth through signs and wonders, highlighting the divine authentication of the apostles' message. It contrasts the genuine generosity of believers with the hypocrisy of Ananias and Sapphira, establishing a context of awe and reverence within the community. The narrative shifts to the religious leaders' jealousy and their failed attempt to silence the apostles through imprisonment. A supernatural angelic intervention allows the apostles to continue preaching in the temple, leading to their confrontation with the Sanhedrin. The central theme emerges as the apostles declare their obedience to God over human authority, affirming Jesus as Prince and Savior who grants repentance and forgiveness.

Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? 1. No sinner by himself can ascend into the hill of God. 2. Jesus Christ, the Lord of glory, has ascended into the hill of the Lord 3. Therefore, his people can ascend with him.

Leaving the New Age involves more than rejecting false beliefs. New believers must learn to think, worship, build relationships, and live according to the Word of God. In this episode, Doreen Virtue explains why those coming out of New Age spirituality need biblical discipleship and active involvement in a faithful local church. She addresses spiritual warfare, lost friendships, church hurt, corporate worship, Christian fellowship, baptism, the Lord's Supper, and the importance of serving alongside other believers. Although online teaching can be helpful, it cannot replace belonging to the body of Christ. Christians need the biblical instruction, accountability, encouragement, fellowship, ordinances, and relationships God provides through the local church.
