Today, we begin with the first question of The Gospel Way Catechism: What is the center and point of everything? The answer: God is the center and point of everything. In him, all things come to be and are held together. He has no rival. We live in a world that constantly tells us to put ourselves at the center—to look within ourselves for identity, purpose, and meaning. But the gospel gives us a much better story. Our lives begin with God, belong to God, and find their meaning in God. In this first conversation, we'll consider what changes when we stop seeing ourselves as the center and begin to see all of life with God in his rightful place.
