Mother's day, 2011

Our Father in heaven and our Lord Jesus provide abundent comfort in our need through the person of the Holy Spirit. We receive comfort from Holy Spirit in many ways; personally from Him to us, from Him through the church and even in His conviction.

This week we look at plans for our property on Seymour Road and Grow Groups home church ministry starting in May.

We were given a message in tongues with interpretation this Sunday, we misssed the very beginning but caught most of it. Praise God for the gifts of His Spirit.

The Lord impressed on one of our congregants to share something during worship, this person chose not to but prayed that God would make the same impression on someone else more comfortable speaking in front of the congregation. Shortly after they started praying Becca gave this word which was exactly what the first person felt God wanted said. Beautiful!

A word of instruction to our congregation about tongues and interpretation.

We need to set the bar for our relationships at the standard of God's word, nothing less is compromise and less than the very best He has for us.

Identity could be seen as our relationship with ourselves. The only safe place to find our identity is in God's word, what and who does He say we are. Any other source is opportunity for lies and the pain and confusion that comes with a lie.

As we continue our discussions on relationships, Theresa shares how identity and wounded heart issues have a negative effect on our relationships. Theresa's testimony of how the ministry of the Holy Spirit and the body of Christ brought healing to her heart, truth to her identity and solidified the foundation on which healthy relationships are established.
