This week we take a look at our foundation, scripture that defines excellence in relationship and why when the storm comes we don't always do what we know to do.

As we dig into the bible for truth about relationships, the first one that all the rest are built upon is with the Lord. Listen as we learn what the bible has to say about loving God.

We kick off our discussions on relationships with a word of wisdom, experience and obedience from our friends Walt and Shirley Macklin. The Macklin's offer great transparency as they share the ups and downs associated with married life and raising a wonderful family. The fruit of their tree is truly wonderful - so is their teaching!

Part three of UBCR where we're learning the key biblical teaching about God's salvation found in Jesus Christ. This week we tackle Jesus as Lord (Confess) and that we must Remain in Him, persevering and holding fast to our hope of finishing the race well. Yes, that is Kim Walker singing near the end of the message. We lost the audio feed from the band and dubbed in Jesus Culture so that you can get the gist of Sunday's call to the altar - I AM YOURS!

Part #2 of U.B.C.R. is believe. Last week we talked about the need for a person to understand they are lost, in need of a savior. This week the "B" of UBCR, which is that they must believe, trust, place their faith in Jesus Christ as the way, truth and life that leads to the Father.

How does a person get saved? For the next 3 weeks we'll discuss in detail the process of becoming and remaining saved. We'll also introduce an acronym that will remind us what we need to be able to relate when leading someone to the Lord's saving grace. This is part #1.

Borrowing Pastor Skip's title from last week we talk about the vision and purpose for Church on the Street. The take away is that we need to be intentional about our walk with the Lord.
