What is the Gospel and what is baptism?

God is serious about his people's freedom.

No matter how much we try, God cannot be outdone. When it comes to peace, joy, satisfaction, and salvation, God is the only eternal answer.

 

Trust God with your "why".

God's purpose will be fulfilled either through us or in spite of us. We can either be a part of what God is doing or sit on the sidelines and watch.

At best, the world gives us temporary peace and hope. But through the Lord, Jesus Christ, we can have permanent peace and hope.

 

As we read through 1 Kings 13, we see of 2 ways we can respond to the Word of the Lord. We can respond as the Lion, which walks in power, discipline, and boldness; or we can respond as the Donkey, which walks in laziness, pride, and stubborness.
