In baseball, there are times when all looks lost. Winning the game seems almost impossible. But then, from time to time, there are those glory moments. It is in the bottom of the ninth inning, when all looks lost, that true believers continue to hope beyond hope. They know in their hearts that they may be down, but they are definitely not out.

In life it is in these moments, when your current circumstances or past failures could easily make you feel that all is lost. But there is hope. God can make the impossible, possible. Nothing is ever over when it comes to God. Listen closely to Pastor Matt and see if God will bring that spark of hope into your situation. Perhaps it's time to let God pinch-hit for you.

Before He created the world, God had a plan. His plan included a lamb. This plan was foreshadowed in a promise to Abraham, and was played out symbolically in the Jewish Passover. John the Baptist pointed out who this Lamb was. Jesus finally fulfilled the plan in real life. It is this plan of God that we remember when we celebrate the Lord's supper. It is often in looking back, that the grace of God is more clearly seen and remembered.
